lumina ah, I see... No, I was in a relationship like that, and when Pluto came around to square my Venus, that ended that! In our family, my husband and I sacrifice a great deal of what we enjoy for the benefit of our family as a whole, or because doing those things just isn't feasible right now...but we're not about to try to change who we are as people.

..but we're not about to try to change who we are as people. Yes, compromises are needed in any relationship, and especially as a family, I think, but that there is the important thing. Not to change the other one`s personality, or trying to.

I settled on the true versions now, after having researched them astronomically, and during the actual apogee/ perigee (which does not have to be a full- or new moon) True Lilith and True Priapus are just that little bit more exact. (True Priapus is always exactly opposite True Lilith).

Well said! I sacrifice, but try and know the limits. Edit: deleted post

Ava I am exactly that way with my husband. And, albeit to a lesser degree, he's that way with me. There's often an admonition in our house of "You need to check your energy!" from both sides, lol. I have natal Pluto opposite Venus, but yeah I would also like to be happy with a peaceful environment. We're working on it in our house, but it's no small task. I mean, there's a too-lengthy debate on even the simplest things (which vegetables to plant in the garden, for example). 🙄

Hehe I would LOVE for my husband to talk to me about my energy! That actually sounds like a sweet way to argue.

This is a curious topic. It seems first to be important which points connected to Lilith to actually use and the the actual interpretation.
I've seen online that there are those who see Lilith rebelling and shunning what it comes into contact with, sign, house, planet, angle or other point. Like refusing a certain signs qualities to be expressed.
Other interpret it as exemplifying what is shunnable about that connection. To rebel by becoming it in the more extreme taboo form. And hence what society is finding exilable about the native while the native themselves is shameless in expression.

For me I have Lilith h21 in virgo 1 degree away from the south node in the 12th. Square to MC and sextile to Pluto. The Priapus h22 is in Aries in the 7th, square Chiron, Neptune and sextile to Jupiter.
If lilith shuns what it comes into contact with it could mean my familiar past is in exile, a taboo topic. Or that I show up with my familiar past and it's in an extreme and kind of negative way so that society shuns me for exhibiting it.
What do you think of that? On the right track?
So for the Lilith in virgo, I can see that the autonomy is often breaking societal norms for me. Self reliant in a way that is felt as extreme or too much. A need to follow my nature and have my own moralities untouched by society. The 12th house is harder to pinpoint here, possibly on a subconscious level.
Any info on Priapus interpretation?

Sorry, many posts. My husband has his Priapus conjunct my mercury and he is enamoured with my intelligence, some almost envy. But thwarted... Not sure how to view this.
The Priapus is in Libra in the 6th. Square Jupiter.
His Lilith is opposite my Venus and ascendent (wide orb 3). In pisces 11th. Does he shun community and refuses to be part of it? This could be quite true... He hates his culture and society (Arabic country) and never looked like he belonged. Even ppl in his own country would ask if he was a foreigner. As for pisces, he lost himself in substance abuse when he was younger and nearly died. Can tap into an apologetic ocean of creativity which is quite a avant Garde. It's not accepted by his culture.
Our liliths are 4 degrees off of opposition and Priapus is 5 off of opposition.

Reviving this old thread... Currently the sun is squaring h21 Lilith: 12 Taurus sun 12 Leo Lilith (14 Aqua Priapus Rx) I was thinking of Lilith yesterday because it's widely opposing my Saturn/Neptune midpoint, and they rule my luminaries. I have: 8.12 Aries Lilith 6.40 Libra Saturn/Neptune mp (conjunct my husband's moon and the transiting moon) I was wondering if I sabotage my own efforts to manifest things, particularly Libran things, because I am too wild in some respects. Not wild compared to teens in Hollywood, but I just want to do what I want to do. So I had this on my mind, and then yesterday I was driving behind a car whose license plate said "1Lilith" and I took that for a sign. 'Went home and saw draco sun-Mercury cazimi at 7 Aries was tightly conjunct my Lilith plus there's the sun-Lilith-Priapus t-square I mentioned. I guess that accounts for some general tension, along with the upcoming eclipse.

"I just want to do what I want to do" is a perfect Lilith-sentence. So makes sense. Interesting, so the Sun-Lilith is aspecting composite Uranus (12 Scorpio), pr composite Mars (just 2 minutes shy of 12 scorpio) and Tr Priapus is conjunct pr composite Sun on 13 Aqua. #anyway Ava , I could imagine that your Lilith does sometimes struggle with too Libran things, esp. in terms of compromise. Lilith does not like to compromise, and especially not when it`s in a very independent sign, I cant imagine Aries-Lilith to be big on compromising (at least not without feeling a little resentful about having to compromise at times).

I cant imagine Aries-Lilith to be big on compromising (at least not without feeling a little resentful about having to compromise at times). So you talked to my husband about it, he told you? LOL Edit: I mean, yes, you're right. It's like you got the information first-hand. In progression I've had Lilith conjunct Vesta for at least ten years, and these are currently conjunct my husband's natal Aries Vesta. I like pr Priapus on your pr comp sun, and the square to Mars, well as you see it's not always bad? Will email you shortly.

Perfect timing bumping up this thread. Was just going to vent about my son. He's 7, very very clever (for example, he was able to read newspapers since he was under 3) but damn he's so stubborn and independent. He knows he's not supposed to do something but he still does it. I just came home from work and had to listen to my Mom complaining about how he, yet again, was throwing rocks on the grass. He was told how there are so many reasons not to do it, from cars being parked nearby to the fact that a lawnmower can break if it comes into contact with card rocks. He says ok but as soon as he thinks no one is watching he starts doing it again. In another incident, he was misbehaving in school numerous times. As a result, he was given a behavior card where teachers marked his behaviors by the hour. Sometimes teacher's commentaries were just ridiculous, like "He was playing with a pencil. I told him to stop and he did.", I always defended him where it was due and even told his teacher how they are making him to be robotic. Other times he was honestly bad, like not listening to what the teacher was asking me, ie. talking in class, and messing with other boys. Last week he had a few bad episodes in school. His teacher asked for a parent to sign that we agree to speak with the teacher. Instead of telling us that we need to meet his teacher after, he forged his Dad's signature and never told us. He's 7. When I saw it, I couldn't stop laughing. It was quite hard to explain to him that forging signatures is a bad thing with a serious face. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of rebelliousness, independent thinking, and freedom-loving, I've Sag stellium myself, and I'm mostly mutable with a good bit of Uranus aspecting personal planets, but I'm struggling with reasoning with him. Otherwise, he's very sweet, loving, emotional, and a nice boy. He has these in Libra 3H: BML 0'27 NN 1'08 Mercury 1'58 Lilith 4'03 Don't know why I wrote this. Just wanted to vent a bit. Please don't quote. He also has an Aqua Moon

Aw, he sounds sweet midnight! And I think his placements match that independent spirit. Funny about the pencil, of course 3H Mercury conjunct Lilith opp Aries SN wants to tinker with writing tools? Sounds so literal.

So it's "supermoon season." The next four full moons are supermoons, meaning close to perigee. I thought that would mean the moon will be conjunct Priapus in the full moon event charts, but it's not really close to Priapus. So I am confused. lumina can you please be my astronomy teacher? Why is this? All I can think of is, moon exactly conjunct Priapus means something else. Full moons: July 3: moon @ 11 Cap, Priapus @ 2 Aqua August 1: moon @ 9 Aqua, Priapus @ 16 Aqua August 30: moon @ 7 Pisces, Priapus @ 1 Pisces Sept 29: moon @ 6 Aries, Priapus @ 16 Pisces

Moon is Not Always exact at perigee or apogee during a fullmoon. However it's at perigee Just hours or a few days Off IT. That IS enough to make the moin appears a bit bigger than usual.

The August moons are particularly interesting in that Respect, AS the exact perigee Happens within a couple of hours Off the fullmoon. At that Point to the human eye the Moon will still appear füll and pretty big. Interestingly there IS a perigee at my own Moon.
