Are you ready? I have a kinda perverse relationship with saturn, when it's to easy for me, I just want it to move to a sign that'd challenge me. And when it actually challenge me... I'd fake death muahahaha Saturn will start hitting my north node during Feb 2018, squaring my moon .... and after that it will continue to go through both cap and aquarius stellium, including midheaven. I have a feeling that this thread will be my venting venue for a few years

I'm kinda stoked for it? It will be my Saturn Return, but it'll mostly make positive aspects in my chart (I won't make a long dull list but it will be 90% trines and sextiles)
Saturn in Sag was equal parts exhilarating and a total drag, but.. it was much better than Saturn in Scorpio so I feel like I can't complain. I shudder to think about that previous transit.
I will admit I'm a little scared because by the time Saturn conjoins with my natal Saturn... transiting Pluto will also be conjunct transiting Saturn on my natal Saturn!!! So that seems scary ngl. But it will also complete my grand earth trine with my Sun and ASC. So we'll see.

When is one ever ready for the taskmaster? I think the thing we fail to understand is that we can never be ready for life; we just can live it, imperfect as we are.
Well for the last years Saturn has been transiting my Mars, ASC, Neptune, NN (while squaring Ceres-Jupiter) then after a short breathing pause finishing up with transiting my Mercury and Sun (on 26 Sag) - well he`s not finished with that part yet.
Still the transith through Capricorn, esp. with Pluto there as well, might increase the overall intensity on a global level even more I fear. For me personally it will square MC ( 5 degrees), conjunct Venus (6 degrees), square Pluto (9 degrees - yeah, just when Pulto is finished opposing my Saturn), opposite Saturn (17 degrees), conjunct Antivertex and Sun/Moon-mp (21 degrees), while also squaring Chiron (20 degrees).
Looks like the transit over my Sag planets will look like a walk in the park compared to this. lol
On the other hand, Saturn is the handle of my bucket in my natal chart and has been on the receiving end of a lot of major transits etc. for the last years, so I guess I am just living in Saturnian times, and will continue to do so.

Saturn makes the exact opposition to my sun literally hours from now. Please please please get out of my second house and into Capricorn where you belong! I'm not sure what Saturn conjunct SN and opp Venus will do, but I've got Saturn trine Venus natally so it's not going to have that big of an effect, and once it clears 3 degrees Cap, the squares and opps will be done for a bit.

Intuitively, at the moment, I feel like I'm at the brink of something that is going to require massive amounts of energy.
It's like staring at Everest and wondering if you can just stay at base camp after all....hmm.

Actually, it's happening on the 19th. Saturn will go into Capricorn sometime during that day, depending on where you live in the world. I know this because it will start my first Saturn Return and I have been counting down the days. What? NO, I'M NOT NERVOUS. Why do you ask? The exact Return will be in April 2018 (with Saturn actually moving into my 12th before then in March) and then it will happen again, after the retrograde, in December of the same year. All I can say is that I've been working on a lot of the stuff I need to work on in order to prepare. But, I know I can never fully prepare. Either way, I'm wondering what's in store for me, good or bad.

The last time we had a Capricorn stellium of outer planets was in the late 1980’s – early 90’s, with Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune – all in Capricorn. And what a crap time THAT was!

But I was born then Ceri!!! (actually this is a good argument in favor of what you're saying ) Historically things did seem extremely dour then. Disgusting Reaganomics, Eastern Europe in financial collapse, Iran-Contra, Desert Storm, the American economy tanked in the early 90's (probably due to all of the above).. the list is dull and can go on. I've always wondered "when the hell am I going to get my 'come-up'?" I feel like things happen at lightning speed for the generations after me with their Pluto in Sagittarius, Uranus in Aquarius and Saturn in Aries. They're really at the cutting edge of society. But my dour mega-Cap-outer-planet generation.. we seem left behind somehow. I wonder what's going to activate our outer planets so we can really make a mark on the world? Even stars born in my generation (Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawerence) aren't particularly revolutionary. They're just kind of.. there. Perhaps this upcoming era is the time we all come into our own.

I experienced the late 80's and early 90's as an exciting time for achievements, balanced out with a rather depressing sense that nothing was ever good enough. Like all this Capricorn energy put a spotlight on the truth of, "So what? You could have done better." 'Just wanted a system around me that reflected my own outlook...something that helped take me to the next level, and wouldn't have a party when I achieved the bare minimum. All too often I was seeing my own "clay feet"...like I won a scholarship to an art school and then realized my skills were the least developed in the class. Perhaps there's a strain of that painful awareness in people born at that time: they're excelling, but they always see how they could do better. So rather than allocating half their energy to self-improvement and half to self-promotion, using the formulaic approach to success, with them it seems to ALL go to self-improvement, because they are so hyper-aware of how much better things can be (or should be). I haven't researched this time frame to see what its celebrities are doing. As athena pointed out, there aren't too many notable examples. I wonder if it's a common desire of these folks just to see the system functioning at full throttle. Cap is supposedly about government, after all. So maybe it's not so much about personal gain but philosophical corrections, to fortify the whole mental and spiritual infrastructure. Transiting NN was in Pisces, Aqua, Cap back then, so there are high ideals and a transpersonal vision to communicate and work with. Maybe they aren't so much in the spotlight as celebrities because they are busier in areas where quality ideas may have more immediacy and impact (including the internet). Also it seems to me that a lot of them are out there building tiny houses, living as vegans, or devoting their time to art...basically advocating freedom, in various and subtle ways (freedom from debt, freedom from cruelty, freedom from dictatorial establishments.) There's a sense of self-reliance and a desire to be left alone to make of that whatever one can. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but transiting SN in Cap this time around could be an impetus to "cracking" this self-reliance like an egg so there is more interpersonal sharing oozing out (Cancer NN), and society will learn something about what's been going on with the mega-Caps, in private, all these years. Beats me, though. I just hope to survive it.

Perhaps this upcoming era is the time we all come into our own. I definitely think we're going to come into our own soon, especially those of us approaching our Saturn Return in Capricorn. It would make sense that with all of that collective energy in Capricorn, we'd be the generation that kind of "stalls" and struggles in some sense. I can already feel myself getting to that place of really securing my niche. I am hoping all of the hard work and setbacks of recent years will pay off. Yet, I don't want to jinx myself so maybe I should take that back! Also, don't forget that us Saturn/Uranus/Neptune in Capricorn people have had Pluto in Capricorn hitting those planets for the past several years. Transiting Pluto conjunct the natal Neptune is the initiation into adulthood for everyone and occurs sometime in one's 20's. So, it's been really intense for us. Those of us in this group are the Millennials and I do think we just have more pressure on us than generations before or after us because of that major Capricorn influence and also because of transiting Pluto. I wish you well on your Return, though. Maybe we can swap notes throughout this transit? Haha, I have a lot of easy aspects, too, except oppositions to Jupiter and Chiron. But, mine is in the 12th, so you know how that goes!

I just realized it will oppose my Saturn at 12 degrees. Yeah, I can't wait. 🙄
Although it's fitting that I just made the leap to homeschool my son, with Saturn/Capricorn. It will enter into my 6th house right after it opposes my natal Saturn. 🤔
Bring it on, old man! 😂

Weird side note about Saturn (soon to be hitting my chart from multiple directions). I was just relating a dream I'd had to my husband that was very detailed, and involved lawyers, a summons, etc. My willingness to accommodate them seemed to soften their tone, but still I had to go with them to find out what they needed from me. It seemed okay, but unknown. Anyway, as I was relating this dream to my husband, I realized I was absent-mindedly staring at the word "Saturn" on our kids' alphabet/planet rug. 😂 Well then.

Did not know how it would affect me with Saturn transiting my 3rd house. But some changes to work enviroment happened. A coworker changed jobs and which changed my work load. So we will see what else this might bring if it will be more positive or negative.
