Hello
Forgive me if I am being stupid here and there is a thread on this available right under my nose- if there is please could someone direct me?
Otherwise, what I wanted to ask, if it isn't too nosy, is what your own particular interpretations were for each card that you have come to discover with experience.
For instance, I have found that the 2 of cups meant the object of one's affection has feelings for someone other than the querent. The strength card can be the same; I don't actually get that much passion from this card. I see it as the querent trying to force something out of someone, really trying their best to manipulate the outcome of a situation and it's obvious to all around. I get the traditional meaning of the card, but realistically, the lion wouldn't naturally care about the maiden apart from using her as dinner! And again, I see it as something isn't naturally attracted to something else, whether it be an event, outcome or feelings. I guess the traditional meaning also says this, but I don't see it in the context of gentleness.
The Empress always comes up as a positive yes for questions where I've asked about exam results or someone's feelings for me. I love the Empress. I find her traditional interpretations along with the Star apt, also with regards to physical attraction.
I've seen the Ace of Swords come up as a positive sign in love readings.
The 5 of Wands is stalking me at the moment and I think its about an inner conflict I have at the moment, rather than foretelling an actual conflict. Although that might happen too, who knows.
