Back to the original topic, have you all noticed that whatever asteroids are conjunct your sun seem to play an important role in synastry? good thought! Makes sense to me, though I will have to look it up. |

Moira was sort of the term for the "Moirae". Lachesis, klotho and Atropos, and yes I would see her just as fate. As for Atropos, she is called the "unescapable/ unavoidable" and surely death is what we cannot escape. And I have seen her coming up for endings and in death charts, but then again also in marriage charts or births or when a completely new phase started. So I frankly have no freaking clue what she means. lol |

Some asteroids that are gathered around my Sun-Mercury (25°02 and 25°56 Sag) are:
Merlin (24 Sag)
KLeopatra (22 Sag)
Tesla (25 Sag)
Jung (25 Sag)
Robinhood (25 Sag)
Kings (25 Sag or was it 26?)
Nofretete (25 Sag - German name of Nefertiti)
Caesar (26 Sag)
Circe (27 Sag)
Reiki (27 Sag)
Sekhment (27 Sag)
I think there are also Tantalus (26 Sag or 25 or 27) and Mentor on one of these 3 degrees.
I am sure I forgot some or have never known them. lol

Well let`s see,
P`s Merlin is exact conjunct his Arthur and Tesla and both are within 1 degree conjunct my Guinevere-Spirit (around 10-11 Cap - and well he played Artus)
P`s KLeopatra is on 9 Cap, in between my Venus (6 Cap) and my Guinevere-Spirit (10-11 Cap)
P`s Nofretete is on 27 Sag on his own Sun-Moon-MC and of course conjuncting all those mentioned asteroids, including NOfretete herself!
P`s Reiki on 14 Cap and King on 16 Cap are conjunctz our composite Venus on 16 Cap including some asteroids like Circe and Arthur gathered there
P`s Circe on 00 Aqua and Tantalus on 3 Aqua are conjunct our composite ASC on 1 Aqua (and Anubis and Terpsichore on 00 Aqua) - well I guess that is the out of reach character of our connection
P`s Caesar on 27 Aries is trining his Sun-Moon and also trine my Sun and funny enough widely trine my Kleopatra as well, I have known someone else who did the same, just more closely even
P`s Robinhood on 24 Gemini on his own IC, opposes our composite Sun and my own Robinhood of course and everything else there. lol
I think some knight asteroids might be around there, too, either his or mine.
In terms of the composite my Sun-asteroids are prominent as well:
Sun conjunct NOfretete on 26 Sag on the Galactic Centre exact (because we both have it natally and even conjunct each other. lol from 25-27 Sag, I mean that is pretty amazing. Curiously I was always strongly drawn to Nofretete even as a child. Well to the whole story there)
Stellium of Tesla-Reiki-King on 4, 5, 6 Cap
Circe-Proserpina - Tantalus - Venus - Sekhmet - Panacea (cure/ healing of all) on 13, 14, 15, 16 - 17 Cap (I really wished Tantalus were somewhere else. lol)
Caesar on 26 Aqua on the Avx and sextile Sun exact
Robinhood on 25 PIsces squaring sun, but also conjunct Ceres on 23 Pisces, and mostly conjunct his tropical and my Draco ASC.
Maybe it is weird, but well he of course likes to paint himself as a hero, playfully, in the introductions for his semi-formal concerts (like a knight of music or something like that. lol) and actually plays the knight/ hero on stage quite a bit, and I had not even been thinking about that, but after last concert I jokingly said to him: "We are going to save the world", but the thing is it was meant casual, but the moment the words were out of my mouth and the way he was looking at me, felt I don´t know strangely intense, like I could hear a bell faintly ringing from far away, or had tapped in something.
I mean wof course we are not saving the world with music or however, we just did a good thing with bringing and holding people together by supporting that charity, and well I guess I did play my role in this somehow, and even almost unintentionally, I was just going with the flow and ended up right there. lol But it was not that big thing, just a small contribution.
But I guess I am not the only one who heard or sensed the sound of my words, cause one of the bystanders was commenting and reemphasing that again the next day towards the people who could not be there. Well with Merlin on Sun you always have to be a little careful what you are uttering verbally, there is quite some manifestation energy in this asteroid. But hey, so we are going to save the world and as byproduct having nice evenings and concerts. LOL

BTW Lancelot also has Robinhood conjunct Sun (and opposite Pluto), so we have that in composite as well, in Aquarius. LOL

As far as I can tell, my Sun's only claim to fame is "true" BML conjunct by 2 degrees. Unfortunately, that also means that she opposes my Moon and squares my Nodes. 🙄
There may be others, but I haven't stumbled across them yet if there are.

We may have several asteroids conjunct the Sun. Is there one which reveals a key quality in your personality, or a quality you aspire to? I have one which I thought was striking - Thersites (1868). Firstly, it is the closest to my Scorpio Sun in 3rd than any of the others. Sun 1.35 Sco Thersites 1.39 Thersites was a Greek commoner who had the gall to speak up in an assembly and rebuke Agemmenon on his plans to wage war on the Trojans. He is one "who says what everyone else is thinking (Wiki)". Thersites was then beaten by Odysseus for his impertinence. Mark Andrew Holmes see Thersites as a complainer, critic or dissenter. But I see him as one who speaks out when others may choose not to. He is the one who offers to bell the cat. I always found it odd that I was the person who voiced criticisms openly when no one else did - a quality that emerged in my late teens and has continued to surface in different ways. It could be as trivial as being the only one at a conference table who informs the speaker that they cannot be heard. More often it is finding something to criticise in the organisation I am working for and then doing so. I was fortunate enough to eventually get paid for being critical, that is, I became a consultant - . Oh that is awesome, AK, it really suits you I mean that is definitely you! As far as I remember, I have DNA conjunct Sun - solar features strong? Perhaps health, and also a connection with the Sun, weather-wise |

I'm struggling to find any, but the ones that I remember from previous research is Compassion and Tesla haha!! Will be back when I find more  I find both of them reflect you Tesla would give an interest in science, and the combination itself is very likely to bring an attraction to putting science in the service of the public, here and now, and being attracted to public service. I would also look at what the Sun rules, and its house and sign, of course, to narrow down the meaning. My Sun is my intercepted 7th house ruler, so there is a sense of bringing those qualities in the social and relational spot. It is also interesting that I am a first born, and in terms of DNA, it is biologically considered that the first born has the more solar qualities in the parents DNA. |

Very cool @astrokeen & FruityLlama  I have Thersites on my ASC and have long admired people who are courageous in their way of speaking. Even if I disagree with them...you could say I prefer "strong drink" when it comes to this...give it to me straight. And FruityLlama, lumina has sun-Tesla, too, I think. I've got a bit of asteroid-envy over that.  --- To answer the OP I like having 10428 Wanders conjunct my sun. edit - Well I wrote about that in detail but it feels boring to read. I just like wandering around, taking long walks, being nomadic. It's all too easy for me to feel caged in and restless. Wanderlust!! |

Looking at yours, given that the Sun in a lady's chart also reflects the kind of partner she likes/will have, they might also describe him, the animus: a swashbuckling royalty (at least on stage? if not more), Robinhood King, pretty (Nefertiti), smart and German-speaking? (Jung) hihihi And for the gents, it would be interesting to check the asteroids conjunct Moon for that. |

BTW on my mom`s paternal side, there is a relative (some sort of uncle, cousin, not sure, it gets all tangled up in our family as some family members have been living with other relatives than their biological parents, so it gets all difficult to keep apart) whose family name is "Jung" incidentally.

LeeLoo ! Hello! Thank you for that interpretation. I can say that public service does attract me, yes! My sun rules the 2nd and 3rd houses. The third house is interesting as my future career will be to do with hearing disorders and therefore communication problems (3rd house realm?) I'll have to check that DNA point too. Do you mean that I would have many aspects to my parents DNA or them to my DNA?

Quaoar is not an asteroid. It's a transneptunian dwarf planet candidate. It's a cubewano (classical kuiper belt object) It has an orbital period of 288.06 years. Its diameter is 1110 kilometers, and so it's half the size of Pluto. Quaoar has one known moon, Weywot. Transneptunian dwarf planet/candidates are Evolutionary Intensified Objects. I just discovered a bunch of asteroids on my Sun, quite by accident. Never expected to see so much in synastry and composite sketches. Not all, but some of those conjunct my Sun are prominent. I don't have the full 'story' for these yet. Will try to compile something later (it's really hard not to get sucked into this when you have so much else to do).
