EVC = Event Composite Chart
The composite between your natal and an event
---
What's special about the EVC sun is, it's basically going to be in the same place, year after year.
I wonder if this could be a timing tool in synastry.
You can say..."Whenever my EVC sun is here, yours is there" and note any conjunctions to your respective natal planets.
For example, if my chart is correct, then whenever my EVC sun is conjunct my DSC, my ex's EVC sun is conjunct my Neptune, simultaneously. That makes a lot of sense. And we actually had our fallout years ago, when this was in effect. So maybe that had always been a sensitive time for us, but no one was keeping track.
Thoughts?

I guess this ties in with that idea of "outpoints": astrogarden.proboards.com/thread/1386/outpointsTo create EVC sun = natal point Simply calculate the phase angle between your sun and another natal point, and double it, and add those degrees onto the other side of that point (separating or applying, whichever applies) For instance, rounding degrees: 16 Cap, my sun 5 Aqua, my Mercury 19° phase angle 5 + 19 = 24 So whenever the sun is transiting @ 24° Aqua, my EVC sun is conjunct my natal Mercury. I have nothing @ 24 Aqua, but that could be an interesting day for synastry; perhaps my Mercury lights up when sun EVC is conjunct it? My mother's sun was @ 24 Leo. Maybe this helped me see the other side of the coin, when she was espousing certain beliefs...the sun opposing hers means, my Mercury is lit up. Hmm, just pondering.

Ava that is a very interesting observation! Well not quite the same, but I noticed just a few days ago that of course P`s and my EVC Sun will ALWAYS be conjunct. I knew that before, but it just struck me that whatever will be going on in our respective EVC`s at the time, it will connect to the other one as well. In this same way I realized that this of course true for ALL same planets- aspects in synastry, within a degree or so, so we are always going to have EVC Jupiters in square, EVC`s Lilith conjunct Priapus (or opposite LIlith, using true Lilith) and also EVC`s Vestas in trine (1-2 degrees). Since this is always the case, it probably is not that important, but then I thought how it might become important those times when something ELSE is connecting to either end of the aspect, additionally. The days around 22nd august have proved to be pivotal in recent years, though this year it was a bit earlier and later (10th and 31st august respectively). - of course events are actually spread out all through the year, really. Actually around that time in august our EVC`s Suns are around 27-28 Libra, conjunct both UNION-asteroids on 29 Libra natally. lol Then for the last 2 years at least there seems to have always been something going on right before both our birthdays, around 15th - 17th december (in fact he scheduled a concert for that time, 15th I believe, AGAIN. lol) Of course around that time we both have our Solar Return. lol as for this year the bit around 10th august (now that I come to think of it 2 years ago there was some meeting happening on 12th august) comes up with EVC Sun on 21-22 Libra; mine on 21, his on 22 Libra, conjunct his natal Pluto on 21 Libra, and square my Vertex on 21 Cancer (and opposing my Chiron on 20 Aries). the later date on 31st august had EVC Sun on 2-3 Scorpio, on my natal Uranus on 1 Scorpio.

Thanks for the examples lumina ! So maybe that's part of what makes the connection with P so strong. When was that coffee date again? Well I'm still testing this out...... -

So example, not sure I am doing it right my Sun: 26 Sag my Venus: 06 Cap phase angle: plus 10 degrees addint 10 to my Venus, I come up at 16 Capricorn (your Sun Ava ) So on your birthday EVC Sun is conjunct my natal Venus. Also EVC Sun is conjunct P`s and my composite Venus exact. lol Then on 26th january both our EVC Suns are on 16 Cap, conjunct composite Venus - this year interesting as our progressed Fullmoon happens then as well in composite and for him that happens on 13th/ 14th february: EVC Sun conjunct natal Venus on 26 Cap. -------------------------------------------- another example his Sun 26 Sag his Moon 28 Sag so he would have a Sun-Moon-conjunction when Sun is at aroun d00 Cap? Yes, 22nd december, EVC Sun on 28 Sag conjunct his natal Moon. For me that happens with tr Sun at around 8 Aries I think? (my Moon is 51 degrees after my Sun, adding 51 degrees to 17 Aquarius, brings me to 8 Aries, which curiously is the Sun-position of P`s wife and his youngest son ) Let me check Yes, 29th march: my EVC Sun 17 Aquarius my n Moon 17 Aquarius Hmm Transiting Sun is on 8 Aries, not only conjunct his wife`s / son`s natal Sun on 8 or 9 Aries, but also conjunct his own CERES on 7 Aries, and his Draco Jupiter-Mars on 8 and 9 Aries So basically everytime his wife and son have their Solar Return, I have a New Moon from the EVC to my natal? EDIT I am aware that I should be looking up what is on 17 Aquarius or so in the respective charts, but still I found it intriguing that the essental transits were happening simultaneous in those charts, even if not in form of an EVC of course.

Ava Coffee date was on 10th august this year. Transiting Sun at 17 Leo (and actually a few hours later there was a solar Eclipse on that degree. lol) opposing my Moon at 17 Aquarius It still is just baffling to me that P does not have anything that stands out at around mid of the fixed signs or even fire or air signs. I don´t know. it`s weird. But of course his EVC Sun is on 22 Libra then, and mine on 21 Libra, and his natal Pluto is on 21 Libra in his intercpeted 7th house. Also of course we have composite NN on 20 Libra and composite Mars on 23 Libra, so maybe for him personally that part of the composite, Mars-NN, was lit up and also lightening up his Pluto? BTW just because I mentioned his wife in the last post, this year, only relevant this year, she was having at that day EVC Sun 13 Gemini EVC Pluto 11 Sag EVC Saturn 15 Sag

That is so weird to me!!! Well let's see, my moon is about 62-63° beyond my sun... So when the sun's @ 20-21° Taurus (18° Pisces moon, plus almost 63°), my EVC sun is conjunct my moon. Coffee date was on 10th august this year. MAYBE? That is really interesting!!

If you look at your sun midpoints, you see where the EVC sun will be when the transiting sun is conjunct that other planet or point in your chart.
For instance, my sun/node midpoint is 17° Sag.
So when the sun is transiting on my NN, my EVC sun will be 17° Sag.
That's interesting because 17° Sag is where the sun was transiting when my mother died, and when I became a mother myself half a nodal cycle later (Nodes, moon, motherhood...well my NN is in the 4H, trine my moon).
Also it's my draco ASC if my birth time's correct.

My Davison sun w/ H is @ 20° Taurus for reasons I don't understand. I mean, if his sun's @ 20° and mine's @ 16°, shouldn't Davison be 18°? In most cases yes. but sometimes the middle in time between two people does not result in the exact midpoint of the Sun-positions. For example P`s and my Davison Sun is on 27°29 Gemini, while his Sun is on 26°57 Sag and mine on 25°56 Sag.
