BTW his progressed Draco Mars was precisely on my Draco Sun on 15°46 Aries both from 2nd june - 2nd october 2011 (basically it took this slow Mars 4 months to even move through one minute only).
thought it ws interesting though, as I saw him on stage in summer, but more than that, at the end of september that peculiar concert took place where he was approaching me during a show and for the first time asked for my name. lol Well he actually was teasing me, but still. I definitely had never been singled out like this before by a performer. I mean that was pretty much Aries-Mars in action I suppose.

^ Great example! I love draconics. Okay I will follow your lead and cast off expectation and hope about something amazing happening with transiting Jupiter conjunct your suns. Just another normal day. (I don't believe that!) I forgot my parents had sun square Mars synastry. My father's Libra sun-Mars squaring my mother's Cap Mars on her draconic sun. They usually got along very smoothly and gracefully. H and I do, too. We don't know how to fight, but that's because Libra Mars doesn't know how to fight (tongue-in-cheek "blame everything on the other person"...but really...)

^ Oh wow! I won't quote but great example 12YearsABlobI had written something similar about H while you were writing that, but decided not to post it. He did goad me to the point of fury once, and seemed to enjoy seeing me in that state. I guess it's a bizarre show of caring sometimes, depending on what's being discussed. In that instance I was upset about being stood up and made it known.

Right, exactly.. Maybe that's how Sun-Mars people relate? (Synastry or natal). Or maybe it's Pluto as well...
Indifference hurts way more than anger. I'm the same. It is oddly reassuring that someone cares enough to get mad.

Another ex has his Taurus Mars trine my sun, and he told me about an Aries girlfriend he'd fought with so hard that they were breaking dishes, and he said he LOVED that, the passion of it, and I thought, "Well that's idiotic" but I didn't say it out loud. But I don't get it. To me love is better without noise, broken stuff, whatever. Thank God again for my Sag Venus. Would rather be in a hot air balloon looking at geese with binoculars or something.

^Hahaa! My other Sag venus friend would agree. Given that, I can see why a Libra mars would be great for you. In fact, my Libra mars friend said more or less the same thing to me (what you wrote up there). It was incomprehensible to her why I stayed with my ex even though we fought like cats and dogs (much like your Taurus mars friend). But I mean, as I grow up, I try to remind myself that you can have passion without toxicity. It's just a hard habit to break. Your way is healthier. One day I'll get there.
P.S. Geese are feisty little shits. You're better off with binoculars.

I agree....I mean a person can still express beautiful sentiments like "I appreciate you and that's why I want you in my life so badly" in the undercurrent of a tirade.... H stood me up three times. The first time is the fury incident I alluded to above. The second time I simply confronted him calmly and made it known that I was in pain but this was more like "I feel victimized about this" which nobody has time for, sadly enough. Third time I just left, period. End of story. Every time he starts to blame me for that ending and 20 years of silence I have said, "You stood me up." To me it does explain everything. Who the hell stands people up? I hate that.

Whoa, that makes it even worse if it was more than once. I can see you giving him a pass the first time. But after knowing how important that is to you, doing it again is just plain careless. And you just described three of the ten "levels" of anger (well, according to me). But yeah, the first few times, it pours out like there's no tomorrow. Every time after that, it feels increasingly pointless and you start to lose hope. Guess the third time really did it.

ROFL, duly noted. And I agree, Libra Mars and Sag Venus is actually a cool, fun pairing. H and I got together and were laughing even in the most serious discussions. Always some levity, looking on the bright side. === In more modern news, I don't have a crush on this Gemini I've talked about too much on this thread. (Well he's new in my life and we talk for about an hour, a few times per week.) His Scorpio Mars sextile my sun, and I have a feeling that is a solidly good placement. Sorry for the indirect boast but today he mentioned that people shouldn't mess with him (he scares himself, the way he's engineered to fight...a bit afraid of his own strength and anger). I said I wouldn't mess with him (Capricorn is alert to power hierarchies for one thing, and knows when to stand down.) He said, "Of course not, you're a sweetheart." He's liberal with compliments and that wasn't flirtation. But I liked that exchange, seemed grounded and mutually aware.

The second time, you know to think of it still makes my blood boil. Sun square Mars synastry in its textbook negative manifestation. I wonder if he even remembers. I've feared mentioning it because I don't want my voice to start shaking in anger or something. (Where are those binoculars again? You said you heard some birds? We have better things to do than fight.) But he explained that he didn't love himself and couldn't understand me and my loving him. It didn't make sense or seem real so he didn't have a sense of responsibility towards me, based on that....he felt like he could do whatever without consequence because he wasn't worth loving anyway. And I can relate to that very strongly. I've felt that before. "Oh you liked me? My decisions MATTERED to you? Well that's f*cking strange. My decisions don't even matter to ME that much." You know? I guess I'm off topic and airing my laundry and may erase this. But thanks for your understanding. <3

Ooh, the sextile, mutual respect! So nice that it's noticeable in real life, I love when we can tie things together like that. (^About the fighter guy, in case the placement looks weird.)

The second time, you know to think of it still makes my blood boil. Sun square Mars synastry in its textbook negative manifestation. Yep, I hear ya. I feel like there's a very specific way to resolve some issues (ehm, Virgo Venus?). And if they don't roll up their sleeves and really dig in, it won't happen. If it stays unresolved, it can fester for years and still feel "fresh" when you think of it because their chart triggers that memory in you...Just like you said. So I get why it feels safer to simply not bring it up. <3
P.S. I'm off to boo some geese, see you later missy! Nice chatting with you.
P.P.S. When I'm back, I'll tell you about the time I got bested by a couple of geese, no kidding.

12YearsABlob I love that -- logic, strategy, a thoughtful approach to relationships. I think my Mars Rx in Gemini goes into "I can't even..." mode too quickly. The gears get jammed there. I truly don't know what to say in some situations. edit I love geese stories and I'm glad you conquered them with your sun-Mars goose-fighting power.

Hmm, there wasn't much logic or strategy in my approach, though.. It doesn't come from strategy. Well, imo at least. And I didn't conquer them btw, I was saying those cute buggers conquered *me*. Ha! My Sun-Mars admires their spunk.

Ava "Okay I will follow your lead and cast off expectation and hope about something amazing happening with transiting Jupiter conjunct your suns. Just another normal day. (I don't believe that!)" LOL Well it would of course be nice if you are right. though the EVC`s are not particularly strong either, have not checked the Dracos though. "H and I do, too. We don't know how to fight, but that's because Libra Mars doesn't know how to fight (tongue-in-cheek "blame everything on the other person"...but really...)" LOl my best friend and her husband do not really fight either - they have discussions. And sometimes they clash because of his very rational detached "why don´t you even care about this?" kind of way (his Moon in AQua) and her more volatile temperemental "I just need to let off steam" way (her Moon in Aries). their Moons are exactly sextile btw, they are definitely cooperative and managing their different temperaments, and she needs his soothing and calming her down, and he needs someone with a bit more spunk. lol

12YearsABlob and Ava interesting discussion. BTW I can understand the appeal of fighting as some sort of "foreplay" or flirtatiously. You know what I mean. However most of the times please without breaking things, and usually it works better in the movies. lol If fighting, and I think it can be quite eroticizing, then it MUST be on a playful ground with mutual respect for each other. So more sparring/ teasing than real fighting I guess. I suppose my Moon quintile Mars makes itself known in this. lol it`s only 4 minutes wide. EDIT: not really connected to the paragraph above however P has a partile decile (a "half-quintile") between Moon and Mars (and then some. lol), and they are sort of interacting with each other in the 5th harmonic chart. my 5th Moon and Mars: 25 Leo my 5th Jupiter: 26 Sag his 5th Moon: 23 Sag his 5th MC: 21 Sag his 5th Jupiter: 20 Gemini his 5th Mars 25 Gemini his 5th Uranus 27 Gemini the connection to his wife might be stronger; her 5th Mercury and Venus are in the range from 25 - 28 Gemini. But still I guess my Jupiter quintile his Moon-MC does make sense, too. well did not want to trail off with that thread here, but just found it interesting that we both have a Moon-Mars in the 5th harmonic, of course his 5th harmonic is WAY stronger than mine, and also the 5th harmonic aspects are the basis for some pictures in his chart (Mars = Moon/Uranus; Mars = Uranus/MC; Jupiter = Moon/Uranus; Mars = Sun/Uranus; Jupiter = Sun/Uranus with 0°01!; Jupiter = Uranus/MC) I think his 5th harmonic chart actually has some similiarity with Mozart`s, albeit lacking the Moon-Pluto-factor. But Mozart had in his 5th harmonic chart Sun-Mars opposite Jupiter-Uranus. They certainly share a bit of the same sense of childish humour. lol Well P has also mentioned before that he almost felt guilty when taking over the role of Mozart in a musical, as it did not even feel like he was working, as he just slipped naturally int his character, because he just felt this great resonance (I think this resemblance was true back then, when I met him, but he since then has dipped more into his Sun-Saturn and Moon-Saturn square part of his chart; he has of course both sides, and it must be difficult to maintain a balance). Yeah I know too much of a tangeant, but all that Jupiter-uranus business in terms to Moon and Mars and frankly for him we could even count Sun there, too, it is within 2 degree orb, but well I just usualy stick to the 1 degree orb for quintiles, too. lol Curiously enough our first meeting chart has a quintile Yod, as Venus is exactly quintile Mars and both are exactly biquintile Moon; and due to the conjunction to Moon, Pluto is pulled into that Yod as well, though not exactly, but still within that 2 degree orb. Our first meeting chart definitely seems to mirror a lot of our synastric, natal and composite aspects, and it seems to be still alive and kicking after so many years and being very responsive to progressions, solar arcs and transits, as if it was a real relationship chart. lol

I suppose my Moon quintile Mars makes itself known in this. lol it`s only 4 minutes wide. To me, that also sounds like your Mars-Neptune. Neptune seems to soften mars, and unless they have severe afflictions elsewhere, these people are quite gentle.
