Pyrite

Hi! Yes I have a mini boulder of pyrite on my kitchen table. It's there with the rock salt votive candle holder and the salt and pepper shakers. My husband had it all along but I didn't know until I said that I plan to buy pyrite at the gem show, and he just said "You want pyrite? I have pyrite"...and hauled this in from the garage (which is full of tools and mysterious man-type objects). So my relationship with the pyrite began as a wish granted out of nowhere. I mean, who knew that would happen. So maybe that "first meeting" represents its overall function...it's a wish-granter? Or, to tone it down a notch, it helps bridge the impossible-seeming with the possible. I've noticed I've been doing the Buddhist chant "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo" spontaneously more in the kitchen. Maybe it just starts turning the wheels in that direction, towards the miraculous. Because as you know, I'm here in this rarified air of a larger wish having come true now. I don't want to overstate pyrite. But these events are clustered together on my timeline: the arrival of pyrite and other good news. Now I'll research it officially and see if others claim benefits as dramatic as that....

WOW "Traditionally, Pyrite is known as a stone of luck, helping to attract abundance, wealth and prosperity to the user, via its creative energies of manifestation, and its encouragement of following one's dreams." www.healingcrystals.com/Pyrite_Articles_68.htmlYEAH "creative energies of manifestion" I think so!

Fudge me, I forgot to reply to this Ava Judging by the meaning of pyrite, I was meant to pick that stone as I really want to manifest so many things. Being Mercury ruled I'm so impatient and want it all NOW. Though that would be no fun if I got it all now and nothing afterwards I have a coworker who is a crystal buff and she told me that I picked this pyrite crystal because I need to trust myself more and not doubt myself. Also when I settled down and lay in bed, I had my pyrite lying not far from me and I felt its pulsing through the mattress. Yes, PULSING! I didn't think I could feel that from a crystal! It's a strong one. Pyrite is a masculine energy, so I named my pyrite Bob.

Welcome @mysticstar. And thanks, I didn't know that. Sopranosoul deleted her original post, so that's why my post doesn't quite make sense there, as a thread-starter.
