Hi everyone, I wanted to know what your take on Mars conjunct Mars is like in synastry. My question, specifically, is do you believe that those who have this aspect tend to be more physically active around one another?
I was talking to a woman whose Mars is conjunct mine in Capricorn by under 2 degrees, and when we were video chatting on Facebook, she was demonstrating a lot to me by getting up and acting it out. Then when we were talking about our marses being conjunct, she said that this aspect makes the two people more physically lively around each other. She said she isn't normally like that, but she got that way with me. Otherwise, in her own words, she's a Taurus and she loves remaining seated.
What's your take on that theory? Would you agree with that given that mars is about action and movement? Have you observed this being the case with someone who had mars conjunct your own?

I love this topic @sopranosoul . Yes I do agree with your point about action! I think it's absolutely true.
The sign Mars is in seems to show what the common activities will be...
Gemini Mars with Gemini Mars: more than just talking, we like to vary our activities. At my Gem Mars friend's house, we move from room to room and then to the stables, greenhouse, henhouse, onto her back porch, into the basement, etc. We're wanderers. My other Gem Mars friend and I like to go for hikes together.
Leo Mars with Leo Mars: My husband and son. They PLAY together. So my son says, "No offense, Mom. But dad's more fun than you." They build little inventions, like robotic hands out of cardboard. We bought my son an astronaut suit and he wears that when those two go launch rockets together (drawing in every curious child in the park around them.)
Libra Mars with Libra Mars: My dad and sister, son and daughter. My dad and sister were more about cooking and the gourmet aspect of Venus. My son and daughter have just always acted in unison, especially with singing, dancing, pretending they are on TV.
Cap Mars with Cap Mars: my mother and sister-in-law. While they didn't know each other long enough for me to really see them together, my rather strict mother did love her. They both watched over my father like a hawk and would become full-on warriors if they saw him mistreated. Cap Mars is scarier than a Cap sun, when they are provoked (I say that with admiration and respect.) So when my father was mistreated at the hospital, my sister-in-law very bluntly and directly addressed it to the doctors, as soon as she heard about it: "YOU DID WHAT?!"
My husband says to me, "Just tell your family to let her run the whole family. She'll know what to do."
LOL
I don't know any other matches in real life personally.

Mars conjunct Mars in synastry has the feeling of being a 'united force'. The pair of you have the feeling that your energy levels are similar and that you instinctively know what the other person might do (if you have known them long enough). As, Ava said, it intensifies the sign which you both share.
