Interesting but sad... After Two Dying Authors Write About Their Final Days, Their Spouses Fall in Love with Each Otherpeople.com/human-interest/after-two-dying-authors-write-about-their-final-days-their-spouses-fall-in-love-with-each-other/The dying spouses mentioned, Nina Riggs and Paul Kalanithi, were born just a few days apart. Nina: March 29, 1977...died of breast cancer on Feb 26, 2017 Paul: April 1, 1977...died of lung cancer on March 9, 2015 * Both had cancer in their chest. * Both died with the sun transiting in Pisces. * Both had natal sun in Aries square Libra Pluto and died with transiting Pluto forming a t-square with them. * Neither of them were non-fiction writers and yet both decided to write books about their deaths. I assume more similarities. I just thought this was an extraordinary example of people living parallel lives, with similar charts. Now I'd love to know their spouses' charts; I'm still working on that.

I was reading these dying authors' online articles and they are just so good: www.nytimes.com/2014/01/25/opinion/sunday/how-long-have-i-got-left.htmlwww.nytimes.com/2016/09/25/fashion/modern-love-when-a-couch-is-more-than-a-couch.html--- After posting this, I learned that Nina Riggs is a direct descendant of my favorite author of all time, Ralph Waldo Emerson. I picked up her book at the bookstore, just to peruse through it. I'll buy it eventually. But the epigraph to her book hit me with surprising emotional force: "Every man that goes into the wood seems to be the first man that ever went into a wood....I feel a pain of an alien world or I am cheered with the moist, warm, glittering, budding, and melodious hour that takes down the narrow walls of my soul and extends its life and pulsation to the very horizon. That is Morning. To cease for a bright hour to be a prisoner of this sickly body and to become as large as the World."- Emerson (I was enthralled with Emerson to the core of my being in college, back when transiting Jupiter-Uranus was conjunct my Mercury, and my head was kind of exploding. So, his quotes tend to send me back to that time, not the lurid details of my social life then, but the exhilaration of my mental life.) --- Anyway, here she is: Just exquisite <3 I didn't mention in the OP...she had read Kalanithi's books and asked her husband to contact his widow. She practically arranged for them to connect. Her writing and Kalanithi's are similar in some respects; so THEY connected mentally before their passing.
