Ava"To be so in touch with times past...."
Either that or I have a very strong imagination.
though I find it interesting, too, that I had "imagined" or "dreamed up" that witchcraft-aspect into the past life recall, and until yesterday I did not even know that this woman was actually involved in that.
I mean I had that recall a long long time ago, long before I Had access to the internet (actually it must have been in 1991 and I was still a teenager. lol).
" And now I recall, we did talk about your all-too-clear sense of knowing what it's like to be burned.
"
Nothing you can easily forget, especially not the smell.
Though I am aware that it might not be an actual past life recall, but either really due to an overactive imagination, or a projection of *something* or somehow getting access to experiences someone else might have had. Not sure how that works really, but I guess it does not matter either.
"Haha, it's just so weird, my son does that kind of thing A LOT."
Haha, I love that.
Well I remember the first time I met my best friend`s oldest son, he had just been drawing a picture, and his parents were at a loss what he was drawing, and I just said it was easy, it was planes under water. lol I was not compeltely right, but he corrected me it really were ufos that had sunk beneath the surface of the ocean, but he seemed amazed that I would get so close to what he actually was drawing. Well he has an Aqua-NN, and his Aries Sun is right on my Draco Sun.
""How can anyone really actually believe that telepathy is evil? It just happens."
"
Yes exactly. People are living too much in fear of what they cannot comprehend.
"I mean religion was a focal point, I might get into that later.
"
I`d be very interested to hear that.
"'t Tecklenburg one of your favorite places now?
"
Yes, ever since I first put a foot in there. Always feels like home somehow. It`s a bit like P said himself this summer, he`s not even realized how much he missed it during the time he was away, but now that he had been there again (for a visit), he just can`t wait for the summer season to begin and for him to "come home". LOL
I mean I guess we are both charmed by this particular village. But it`s also, of course I am only there during holidays, and it is like stepping into another dimension almost. Hard to explain.
As for Anna from Tecklenburg - she must have been one extraordinary woman! She was the only heir to the counties of Tecklenburg and somewhere else, and being married to another count, 5 years her junior, mostly due to confessional and territorial aspects. Well the confessional ones i don`t believe, but it was about protecting the posession of the family and for her husband to rise in influence, though he already was having control over some other counties or how it is called in English.
It also seems that at first they lived rather harmoniously together (of course it was never a love marriage, not even near it. lol ) and had two children, but after her father died, things changed drastically, for they were arguing actually about religion. Her husband wanted her to convert back to being catholic, Anna insisted on her Lutherian belief comeing along with a great tolerance.
But the far greater point of argument was actually that her husband wanted to have dominion over her counties as well, which probably was not that unusual for these times. However Anna would not yield and hand him over the ownership over Tecklenburg and that other county; she wanted to preserve it herself, also arguing he was gambling too much and not dealing reasonably with money.
Well in the 5th or 6th year of their marriage he had her imprisoned in the tower of her own castle (in Tecklenburg of course) to make her hand over her posession to him.
However the aristorcrats around were not pleased with that (imprisoning his own wife) and in particular a count of Oldenburg - that just made me smile, as my Dad was born in Oldenburg, he never lived there, I think his parents were still on their way to find a new home-country and he was born on the way almost; I need to ask him about that- was pressuring Anna`s husband to release her and promise to never "insult" her again, and in particular those aristocracy were accusing that husband of repeated adultry.
Anyway he released her, they came to a legal agreement, though she did not trust him after that of course, she kept her posessions, and he died just 18 months later from syphilis at the age of 26.
Anna of Tecklenburg was then taking over the reign fully over her counties to preserve it for her son, who had not been of age, and she was coverning things for 11 years, and instead of going to war over anything (like her father did) she proved her skills in diplomacy and treaties and these things.
Apart from that she was very interested and well versed in many natural things, especially medicine, and it is said she was a pretty good healer herself, and she even built an apothecary into her castle! Which is something that did just not happen before in these circles.
I think if she had not been of noble birth and apparently having some powerful allies, she might have been accused of witchcraft herself!
When she became sick once with a harsh sickness, she was calling for johann Weir/Wier/Weyer, a Dutch physicist, who was very renowned, very tolerant, a great healer, and maybe most important the FIRST to ever say anything AGAINST the witchhunt in Germany, in fact he had written a whole book on this subject, first in Latin, but then translated it into German, and then even published a summary of it. It was really important to him. He was a rational man with a great tolerance and good education and pointing out that most accused were just mainly older women, or such who might either be accused completely falsely because of malice, or because they had been suffering from a sickness of the soul and mind like melancholia more than actual witchcraft (which he did not believe it existed anyway) and that those women needed medical help and support for their condition more than anything else. In fact he must have been an extremely modern thinking man! I mean we are talking about the 16th century here! And the general consensus that women even HAVE a soul, is not that old, really. (of course there have been always wise people and compassionate ones, but still that line of thinkins was exceptional for the century he was living in).
Well Anna of Tecklenburg and him built a very close friendship until her death, and he spent a lot of time on her castle in Tecklenburg, he even died there, though I think that was even after her death, when he was visiting (I guess her son?).
But those were two very open and humanistic people, that did really a lot of good there, at least in terms of keeping the witchhuntcraze away from there.
Yeah you can see I did some digging today. lol
I just love examples of good progressive people!
"As for what in your chart could signify that past...of course Gemini SN may represent insatiable curiosity, speaking multiple languages (including occultic languages) and failing to stay spiritually fixed in one place, when only form of thinking/believing was acceptable. Monotheism and mono-BE-ism.
"
Yes, makes sense.
"I know your SN isn't trine your moon "
But my Draco Moon is conjunct my SN by about 3 degrees.
"but having them in the same element may go along with your mother's tolerance, though as you said, there are limits to it. Does her moon square your nodes?"
No it doesn`t.
HOwever her nodal axis and her MC-IC axis both square my nodal axis, pretty closely.
