Do you know anyone who's been taking it? Looks like a good tea to take for someone with low iron levels (me) too.

midnight I take a version of Essiac called Flor-Essence. It comes in two forms: 1) Packets of dry material that come with very specific directions; must be stored in sterilized jars. 2) Liquid concentrate that you dilute yourself (much more expensive). I use this because I don't have the patience for the other stuff at the moment. The tea imparts a particular kind of "lift"...you can feel it working. Pretty amazing stuff. The other tea that's similar is called Jason Winters Tea...also strongly anti-cancer. This one is less expensive and easier to prepare, it's just like loose bulk tea. The price has gone up so the container I used to buy for $20 now costs $60 on amazon. So I haven't had that in a while, but I may order it again, since it's cheaper than Flor-Essence. I've read books about both teas....fascinating stories.

Avathanks for the info. I'll check it out next time I go to the health shop. I was there the other day, and it completely skipped my mind to look for this tea. Wow, that's some increase in the price. You'd think things would get cheaper when they're popular. Same thing was with acai in Brazil. Once it became mainstream outside of South America, prices skyrocketed.

It's a potent tea with some contraindications, those are listed in the article I posted, so I hope you saw, if you have an interest in taking the tea for detox.
I'm kicking myself because I mentally responded to you, thought I had actually typed this out already, and now realize I didn't.
So sorry, but it seems you did check out the article, and those contraindications are listed there.
