my daily spread this morning was this here: Child - Coffin - Tree Of course it startled me. However in the late morning I received a pretty long email from an organisation, who was thanking me for a rather large dontation I made (2 weeks ago, when I went to the charity-concert). That charity-organisation is one for an hospice for children with a terminal illness (and their relatives) for their last time on earth. Child - Coffin - Tree Well of course I knew before of the existence of these things, but for some reason reading up on that 2 weeks ago and going there, it just really affected me and made me very emotional about that. Of course money can not be a cure, but it is needed nevertheless.

Impressive ❤️ Lenormand, and cards in general, leave us speechless many times, for being so literal.

I love leno. When I practise my spreads for the next day i no longer fear the scythe - its usually me having to rush because i am late. Ha

Interesting. If Scythe comes up for me, I am either in a hurry, too, or out of being too hurried, I will cut myself. Has happened so often. Usually a paper cut or something like that.
BTW today`s spread was
Cross - Tower - dog
Well cross can be literal sometimes for me, but most of the time either representing a crossroad or actually being equivalent to the Tower in tarot, saying: PAY ATTENTION (well not quite saying but MAKING me) and bringing some dramatic surprise (curiously often positive).
Well I got a surprise waking up as P has been writing me a mail, asking me if I was going to be at the concert tonight (of course just for a very practical business-orietned reason), which I had to say I was not.
So I guess the surprise was CROSS - TOWER representing the geograpical distance and negative answer I had to give, and dog, well obviously lenormand sees him as a friend. lol

oh I also always add one tarot card for the day (not sure why one, but it is always 3 lenos, 1 tarot. lol). Today it was DEATH, but tarot is interestingly rarely literal for me.

Re Tower - I pulled tower for how my day would go. Later I went for a walk into town and saw the new shopping centre being built. I was particularly struck by the interesting design of a tower and how it embellished the skyline. The card was marking a key moment in my day, nothing more.
