To me, it seems like some people just want to be known as having the ultimate truth, like such a thing could actually be given to the world through people who are in actuality no different from the rest of us. You don't deny their experiences to impose some sort of self-idealized truth, you guide them to find it themselves. Anymore I feel like people just are constantly trying to fulfill ego-level desires that only matter within the social areas of this plane. Some of the things people spend too much time seeking are easily forgotten and lost once we learn to move on and go farther in our own journeys.
I don't believe truth is a universal thing that is given to everyone, like some kind of moral code that you have to follow in order to be in the right alignment. It sounds like a type of judgment too easily clouded by negative experiences on the earthly plane, recycling themselves into their mental process of information and then coming once again when they choose to proclaim such "truths". Each sort of truth that we are meant to seek out is individualistic, it's not a standard. We find it for ourselves because our experiences and life journeys are unique, and if we are put here by god then there is something we all must seek out. We rely on ourselves to guide one another to our own individual forms of enlightenment. This can be as simple as enjoying the simple things in life, like the food you eat and the music you listen to. You might have to go through a series of harsh and/or traumatic events in order to understand a simple point, seemingly unnecessary but very important in understanding it. Purely intellectual knowledge will only get you so far.

Wow, Electrode. I think that you just laid out some very complex thoughts in an amazingly simple fashion--I don't think that's an easy feat (at least I don't normally find it with material I actually pay to read). Thanks for responding.
