Yum! I didn't know cucumber contained natural silicon! Much cheaper source than the BioSil I take for hair, skin, and nails. Well yesterday I ate a lot of fresh salsa which is sort of like a salad. Chopped tomatoes, onions, jalapeno peppers and cilantro in lemon juice and salt. I also sometimes eat this: So I dice a lot of vegetables (tomato, onion, avocado, zucchini, cucumber...) and add some greens. The seasoning comes from raw sauerkraut, chipotle powder, oregano, turmeric along with the avocado. Plus I sometimes add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and/or flax oil. And raw pumpkin seeds and grated carrot and sprouts. It looks like a serious mess in the bowl, it's not pretty, but it's delicious and I feel healthy for hours after eating it. A smaller version is just fewer diced vegetables. The main thing about the salad is, it's delicious to me because of the way the sauerkraut, avocado, and spices come together. I also make cole slaw, red potato salad, and bean salad. And fresh salsa. Those are all my salads.
