But in reference to the Buddhist monk analogy... I have some people in my life who like to pontificate about how we need to let go, just be, overcome our humanness, not worry, etc. I have too much Virgo and 6th house stuff to want to hear all of that mumbo jumbo when I'm stressed out and not in the mood for it, heh.
When I'm feeling anxious or trying to heal by analyzing a situation (it does help, eventually) I just need to let it run its course, if that makes sense.

VioletsIt would be annoying to me if people brought that up at the wrong time, and I'm probably guilty of that myself, as you've seen, I get pretty enthusiastic about the healing potential in detachment. It's usually my first order of business, if something just comes up and throws me off (which can happen many, many times each day.) But I know detachment has its limitations. It's not a cure-all and not appropriate at all times. "But with the desire to heal my wounds despite not being able to change people or life." Yes ^^^ THIS
