I am in awe of the skills and intuitive abilities demonstrated by readers. I am curious about their intuitive, empathic, or psychic skills. What do readers sense or 'see' when doing readings? Do readings help to develop their intuition and how? Would love to hear from @intuitivefish , LeeLoo , lumina , harmonicvibes , airybambina , voix , whisperix , vg , enneline , missblyss , ndnchick26 , minceymouse , adimi . Did I leave anyone out?

I have a yod in my chart and for me and my perspective of life it was essential in my youth to know the future. I did not know that you can use cards to predict the future. I bought Tarot cards, because they looked beautiful and Kipper, because they fell into my hands. Runes were the first that I wanted to practise as a tool to work. For me cards do help me to find words to phrase the sentence for the future that I saw.
With all those things that I saw and the things that happened I do sometimes ask myself: "What is the use to predict the future?" For me it has always been a preparation for the next turmoil in my life, but I do not know why somebody is interested in the timing of an phone call.

@intuitvefish, I changed the title of this thread so people can talk about how their intution is developing or changing, if at all, over time with practising readings. This has a somewhat different focus. It would be interesting to hear from you.

For someone who isn't a psychic, I find I need to work at developing intuition. I am usually more intuitive when practising healing as that is a quiet activity where one has time to take note of what is being sensed.
Readings on the hand, if done with cards, can offer stimuli which are more difficult to work with. Basically, one needs to focus on developing intuition, taking note of one's gut feelings, 'knowing', before one begins to delve into card meanings. Also using a note pad to write these down and checking for accuracy, which would then help one to recognise what was 'intuitive' sensing.
I have yet to practise this consistently.
