First off, a lil disclaimer. I am not an astrologer. At all. But I've noticed something rather compelling! Maybe someone well-versed in this area can color in my take. The situation: I have a Draco Sag sun. I just noticed with every significant intimate relationship I've had, there's been a Sag love stellium in the composite. Always Sag! My conclusion: Draco sun = soul. I'm drawn to experience my soul in the light of day, emphasized through the connection. I'm drawn to....myself. My own soul. The experiencing of it. With another, with the possibilities of manifestation/creativity that good union can bring. I'm going to speak in polarized, binary terms. I'm female/feminine/woman. My partners have been male/masculine/men. My curiosity is.... is the Draco chart feminine/lunar/solar/energetic (more "underground," so to speak) and the Tropical Natal more masculine/solar/in-the-light-of-day/physical? Ava and I were just discussing this. And perhaps, as woman/feminine being, I am drawn to experience my soul sun through that composite energy....and perhaps a man is compelled to experience his..... what? his draco or tropical Venus/moon in the Draco or tropical composite? I have not seen Draco composites yet. Where can I look? But I wonder. Has anyone done research on this? I'd love to hear what you think! It's just so fascinating. Here's my natal + composites with the four most significant intimate relationships I've had. In descending order, with the most recent relationship at the top. First, my Draco natal: (Birth details. 10 Feb 1984, 9:02AM, Manhasset NY) This was a short-lived romance that felt like heaven on Earth, like utopia, both of us in love like we never imagined possible. We both expressed it felt like a longterm open book romance. He's with someone else now. This was an instant soul recognition connection (expressed by us both) with high physical energy at first that never ultimately was indulged in. He backed off and didn't feel the sexual connection (after first being highly attracted, but not acting on it). We were instant best friends, soul family, still are. He's with someone else now. Here we have my comp with my ex-husband. Was not fun. Karma to the max. And this is me and my first love. The sweetest ever Libra who waited for me for six years after I ended things. We are still good friends.

Thank you moonlionness ! I hope others will answer because so far I think draconic astrology is under-explored. This is the kind of thread that might pick up answers very slowly over time, as new people join. (And as draconic astrology gains in popularity, fingers crossed!) --- Your situation is fascinating...the pattern is so clear and distinct: Sag draco sun, Sag stellium in the tropical composite. I wonder if it's more pronounced than usual with you because in your draconic chart, the sun rules the Leo DSC. Also the sun is ruled/disposited by a very strong 9th house Jupiter (domicile house) in Libra/relationships. Have you checked the charts of the men in the relationships above to see if their draconic moon or Venus connect to the composite? --- Adding a little of my own data. Just talking about the regular, tropical composite chart: * I have a Taurus draconic sun, but it's impossible for me to have a Taurus composite sun with anyone, the midpoints always come up on the opposite sign of Scorpio. In my longest relationships, either the sun or NN (or both) have been in Scorpio, but never tightly opposing my draco sun. * My husband's draconic sun is conjunct our composite moon. His draconic moon @ 19 Aqua squares our composite Mercury-NN (17/18 Scorpio) and trines comp Venus @ 21 Libra. * His draconic Venus @ 20 Cap is on the comp DSC and aspects our whole composite kite in the 18-22 degree range. (So does his draconic moon, but with mostly hard aspects.) I know it sounds a little complicated. Trying to get my thoughts together so I can add something relevant and succinct after I look at more charts.

Similar to your situation moonlionness: My daughter's draconic DSC is in Leo. Her draconic sun 19 Virgo. Her current and only serious relationship features comp sun @ 17 Virgo in a "love stellium" with Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Her boyfriend's draco sun is conjunct their comp moon, and his draco Venus tightly conjunct their comp ASC in Taurus.

This is an interesting and intriguing idea, and I am certainly going to continue reading about your findings.
For me personally it doesn`T work that way, however that does not mean it is not a good finding. My Draco Sun is in Aries, I`ve never really had strong Aries or Libra-composites. though having said that actually the progressed tropical composite does feature a Libra Moon conjunct Pluto and the ASC is in Aries. Also the nodal axis of the tropical composite is in Libra-ARies, so who knows? It might not be showing up in terms of the composite Sun in my case, but something is there.

lumina I have you both in my astrodatabank. Comp NN conjunct Mars seems relevant here, too. And then, as for him, his draco moon squares comp Mars-NN, draco Venus is sextile to it. I do wonder if, in significant straight relationships, the guy's draco moon and Venus are likely to aspect the composite, just testing the theory as it was pitched in the OP here.... For my father, his draco Venus on his NN in Gemini tightly squared comp Virgo sun with my mother. I think that's interesting. His draco moon @ 16 Taurus doesn't connect to their composite, except for a square to 18 Aqua Saturn. I'm kind of intrigued by my college boyfriend's draco chart. Well his draco Cap moon squared our comp Venus-Pluto conjunction (love/hate?). Natally he has a Mars-Jupiter-NN t-square. His draco Sag Mars conjunct our composite moon. Too much ansty energy landing on a soft target.

Ava". Comp NN conjunct Mars seems relevant here, too." Yes, we both have Mars on the NN, though his is wide. He does seem to have some pull towards composites with Mars-NN-conjunction (the one with M has it, in Cancer, I think 12 Cancer, the composite with a female friend of many years, though it seems they have no contact anymore, has it in Leo, and there is of course me with the Mars-NN in Libra, though every of these relationships have their very own - well, I almost wrote agenda, lol Nope, no agenda - but very different connections, different categories). And then, as for him, his draco moon squares comp Mars-NN, draco Venus is sextile to it. Yeah, Well his Draco Venus is also conjunct composite Saturn (my Draco Uranus opposes it, poor guy. lol I mean my tropical Uranus squares composite aSC exact too, I can`t help it but be "disruptive" I suppose) I found that interesting mainly because of that exact conjunction of Venus and Saturn in the Draconic synastry. his Draco Moon square Mars also seems to mirror the Moon-Mars-square that is present in the composite on its own. There ARE of course interconnections there, just not as straightforward as male Draco Moon/Venus = composite Sun, MOon or Venus, or female Draco Sun/Mars = composite Sun For my father, his draco Venus on his NN in Gemini tightly squared comp Virgo sun with my mother. I think that's interesting. Definitely interesting. Well his draco Cap moon squared our comp Venus-Pluto conjunction (love/hate?). So intense. I mean the Venus-Pluto on its own seems intense, and was he furthering that intensity or fighting it?

There ARE of course interconnections there, just not as straightforward as male Draco Moon/Venus = composite Sun, MOon or Venus, or female Draco Sun/Mars = composite Sun Right...well I tend to look at each situation as it comes. There are patterns in families setting the stage for certain placements or aspects to stand out. For instance my paternal grandmother was born on a new moon in Gemini. In draconic, with a noon chart, she has an early Leo sun conjunct late Cancer moon (on my draco Cancer moon). My father's tropical moon in early Leo conjunct his draconic sun there...so the new moon repeats. One might guess he had an unbreakable loyalty to his mother no matter how he was treated. And indeed that was my mother's argument or burden, that he would never cross his parents. (Curiously my mother's draconic sun in Capricorn was conjunct her father's draconic sun. So both my parents' draco suns conjunct that of one of their parents.) Anyway, speaking of sun/Mars, my father had the conjunction natally. Then his draconic composite sun with my mother was right on that conjunction.

Natally he has Cap Venus trine Saturn, right? I think Venus-Saturn people tend to....maybe gravitate to each other? Similar thing going on with my husband. (Actually my husband's draco Saturn in Aries is conjunct P's, then you and I both have draco Venus in Aries.) My natal Sag Venus conjunct draco Saturn....and that's a "loaded" Saturn because it's been in my family for generations....almost no wonder I married someone whose tropical Saturn is there.

Has anyone tried making a Composite of a personal Birth/Natal chart and NM or FM chart. I randomly started doing that with my own chart and it has made much more sense to me afterwards than the Lunation charts on their own or the Lunar Returns (which never seem to work that well for me). Try it and tell me what you think.

Try it and tell me what you think. Yes, I do that pretty often. In one of his books David Cochrane also stated, that the composites between transits and natal often show very clear what is going on for a person at a specific time (conjunctions/oppositions under one degree orb).
I also noticed the same in terms of the synastry between EVC`s of two people at an important time in their connection. the Conjunctions and oppositions, preferably at partile, often show very clearly what is going on at that time for them.

Ava yes family "astro-heritage" is something that is often overlooked I find. and it is very important. Also I suspect that synastric aspects between the parents might have some affect on their children, if growing up with them, because they are always surrounded by that energy. For example my Mom`s Jupiter opposes my Dad`s Mars, and that has always been an astrological interplay I resonate with (of course I have a Mars in Sag square Jupiter myself. lol) And yes, he has Venus in Capricorn trine Saturn on the DESC, pretty much Venus-Saturn there.

Interesting things being considered here. Meanwhile, I'm very keen to look at my draco composite different relationship composites. Can someone please tell me if there software to create that chart? I'm a bit too new to figure out the aspects on my own. Thank you

moonlionnessif you go to astro.com and create a composite you can pick Draconic zodiac as an option. Draconic composites are super interesting, also in terms of being hit by transits and more so eclipses, at least I think so. I also like to compare the Draconic composites with the tropical and Draconic overlays with each natal, to see how either the individuals might further the path of the relationship or the relationship affects the path of the individuals.

Yes yes. 17 Scorpio, comp NN with my husband 18 Scorpio, my husband's draco ASC, on his natal NN 15 Scorpio 20 Scorpio, my NN 20 Scorpio, our draco composite Jupiter 16 Scorpio, transiting draconic Jupiter on our wedding dayHow does this relationship affect my path? Definitely there's an expansion of Scorpionic themes. Well within a decade of getting married with lost all three remaining parents. On a less morbid and broader note we are casual suburban survivalists, with a home that can go off grid and a lot of food/toiletries etc stored up. I guess that matches Scorpio in general but also having the means to implement the vision (Jupiter). === There are patterns for us, and there are different patterns for others of course.... As I've said elsewhere, my draconic composite sun with each of my five children is in Cancer. Maybe that goes along with my draconic moon in Cancer. It didn't happen that way with my mother and her six children. Maybe it's just coincidence.

this is very interesting about your Draconic composite Sun with each of your children being in Cancer. And I don`t think this can be a coincidence showing up in so many cases. However it might be something very specific to you and your relationship to your children. Like you are being very consistent in your interacting with them and there is that very strong nurturing vibe there, it also makes a lot of sense to me, as your Draconic Moon is in Cancer, this is just something that you were born to be, a caring mother, and so it seems to me like there is a high alignment between how you are and what you are striving to or are meant to be.
Also that Draco composite with your husband and the Scorpio-axis is super interesting (of course it reminds me of my own tropical composite with its MC on 16 Scorpio. lol)

Thanks lumina! Well I think draconic composites with parents or children are especially interesting because they are automatically very significant event charts (EVCs, as mentioned above). My mother had a natal sun-Mars quincunx and she had me during a transiting sun-Mars quincunx. Our draconic composite has the sun-Mars quincunx but it's converted to a yod with Pluto. Draco comp Leo Mars at the apex is conjunct: a) her tropical sun, and b) transiting draconic Jupiter. Draco comp Pluto is conjunct: a) her draconic sun in Capricorn, and b) her natal Mars. Draco comp sun @ 23 Pisces isn't tightly conjunct anything in her tropical or draco natal chart that I know of (birth time unknown), nor mine. However it is conjunct draco comp Neptune @ 21 Pisces and my natal moon is nearby. I just think that yod is significant and telling for a number of reasons, including the fact that I almost died at birth, and my relationship with her for most of my life has been a relationship with someone who is not there (sun-Neptune in Pisces is conjunct Mercury...apt enough description for only talking to someone through the paranormal). Also she died with transiting draconic Saturn @ 24 Pisces conjunct our draco comp sun.

Ava yes, I agree, and that description of "someone who is not there" is so apt and telling, it really gives me goosebumps.
