I'm looking for some insight into interpreting a composite chart . The composite sun and mercury are conjunct the guy's natal descendant and the composite descendant is conjunct the girl's natal sun .
Any insights would be much appreciated.

That's an interesting question aquariser . I like how that balances out: comp sun on his DSC, comp DSC on her sun. Looks meaningful and makes me think there is probably more where that came from. Some thoughts/experiences: - I tend to get along with people born around now (Aqua-Pisces Cusp); our comp sun will be on my natal DSC. However over the course of my life I've never established a close, lasting, ongoing relationship with a person born then. But my DSC is in Aquarius and squares Uranus, so maybe that throws things off. - My comp sun with my husband is on my natal IC, our comp DSC is on my sun with some orb, and there's more to this, like our IC-Saturn on his natal moon, etc. I have a lot of examples of long-standing relationships with key angle conjunctions. For example, with my college boyfriend, our comp sun-Uranus was on the comp DSC, and our comp IC was conjunct my natal ASC and his Venus. Generally speaking, I think the angles are like a framework and so conjunctions to them give the planets something to hang onto, or a reason for people to "hang on" after the relationship gets underway. - From what I've seen, sun-Mercury in composite tends to be binding because the minds naturally come together, and the two people can forge a common language. It can be problematic in some cases where it poses an obstacle to individuation, and it might even spark rebellion or estrangement, ie "this is too much," especially if one person has the upper hand (like a parent). Again, probably depends on aspects to natals and within the composite itself.

Thank you Ava . The composite is certainly an odd one. There is a nice kite , but good old chiron is on the apex , along with the part of fortune and the opposite point has conjunction of pluto , north node and vertex. The kite also has a trine from sun/merc to neptune .
This is not a lovey dovey moons and junes type of couple , although they have been together a long time and know they love each other .
The comp also has saturn exactly conjunct priapus on the ascendant . I think this couple does not feel comfortable expressing romntic feelings to each other , although the relationship seems rock solid and you can tell they love each other
