Hello! I've been studying more and most astrological books so I can get a better grasp on how to read charts, and I have some ideas of why this could be happening, but I'm not sure if I'm on the right track. Maybe those of you more experienced can help me out? This is a relationship between myself and a lovely man I've been seeing for the last year. We are seeing each other, but not living together or able to be together as much as we'd like because of a long and boring list of family and life circumstances. Would this have something to do with the difference between the Davison and the composite? To me it looks like there is a lot of mirroring happening, so some of the Davison planets end up on the other side of the chart on the composite, in the house on the opposite side of the chart. For example, moon moves from the 4th house to the 10th, Sun and Neptune move from the 3rd house to the 9th, Pluto and Saturn move from the 1st to the 7th. Why is that happening? Any help in reading the differences and understanding it better would be much appreciated. I also have Mark's charts, synastry charts, etc that I can post if you think it would help.

I guess that's just because of the midpoint math. When you're calculating composites, you take each pair of planets individually and find the midpoints. The Davison chart just takes the midpoint of your birthdays/places and draws a chart based on that. Having said that, usually (not always), there are some themes that are common to both. Don't know if you're still around, but I'll attempt a reading later.

If you message me your and his birth data, I can look it up on my compatibility app and tell you why this is happening. I don’t have it online yet, but I can get you some good info that will probably give you an idea of the dynamics in play. You can read more in the post I made in in Forums -> Relationship Astrology -> “midpoints in synastry” in this forum. Feel free to reach out. I would look it up for you except, the charts you attached don’t have the birth info on them.

Hi Mia , Are the birth times accurate and is the 3rd chart your synastry? I am by no means an expert, these are just some thoughts. It seems like the two of you have significant luminary compatibility despite slightly different (but complementary) love styles. That is a great foundation for a relationship. The Virgo person's Pisces moon is exactly on the other's Sun (which is considered the gold standard in Sun-Moon compatibility). Meanwhile the Pisces person's Scorpio moon is exactly sextile the other's Sun, so you have a double whammy! As if that wasn't enough, you too have moons trine by degree as well as by sign. (I'm totally not jealous). One person's love style (the air sign Venus & Mars) is a lot about 'finessing' the art of love and being together on both friendly and romantic terms. The other person (Leo Venus & Mars) is very instinctive, impulsive, and direct. You will NOT be confused about whether this person likes you. They can more than fulfil Libra mars' romantic needs. Your communication styles are opposite, and Virgo mercury will sometimes be frustrated by Pisces mercury's vague trains of thought. However, with that Uranus mixed in, they may inspire you to come up with new ideas, and together you could truly hit upon something innovative. Just be sure it's on solid footing before implementing anything.. All this bakes up into a relationship where you two might idealise each other. Perhaps see what you want to see instead of what is really there. You might find yourself dealing with authority figures / people who have power over you. While they might be supportive overall, one has to be careful with that. The strange thing is that the moon, your collective emotional 'weather,' is being challenged by that Saturn-Pluto conjunction. Your lifestyles and goals might cause some stress. Fear of losing one another may cause some power struggles between you two. Not consciously, but you might find yourself behaving in sneaky ways in order to get the other to do something. But if you're willing to be completely honest and above-board with each other, this looks promising. That's my $0.02.
