It's there anything "darker" you could provide about this placement (or my chart in general)? I'm currently doing shadow work and I think this would help me with that. Thank you so much in advance
I guess that's a delicate subject and I'm not competent enough as an astrologer to try and flesh this out.
You have a lot of interesting tropical-to-draconic aspects, along with draco Pluto on the MC in Cancer:
- Natal Taurus sun, Mercury, Saturn opposing draconic Scorpio moon, more or less
- Natal moon opposing draconic Uranus-SN
- Natal Venus opposing draconic sun
- Natal SN-Uranus conjunct draconic Venus
- Natal Pluto opposing draconic Mars
Overall I get a sense of your emotions being intense. Mars rules your moon and draconic moon, if we use Scorpio's traditional ruler. Mars is on your ASC.
However there really is a lot of Venus in this chart, smoothing things over. It makes sense you might have to do shadow work and really dig to get a sense of...less evolved motivations, so to speak.
Your chart is difficult, in my opinion, because your sun is squaring your nodes, and it rules the north node in Leo. So you are challenged to stand out as a Leo (10th house Leo NN) while feeling possibly more like an outsider/non-conformist (Aqua Uranus-SN) and also being uncomfortable with that much attention (as a down-to-earth, cooperative 7th house Taurus). You may find yourself in the spotlight against your will and want to retreat?
I think communication can be a real benefit and blessing to your life, because your draconic sun is in Capricorn, in your natal third house, trining your natal Mercury-Saturn. As long as you are communicating on solid ground, you will have security.
From what I've seen, the draconic sun in Capricorn can be extremely strong-willed, workaholic, usually successful but sometimes quietly suffering burnout without tending to one's self properly. I think that's because draconic energies can be so automatic and ingrained, we aren't quite as aware of them. We tend to think of ourselves more in line with our tropical sign. That is just my hypothesis.
For example, I am the reverse of you, with a tropical sun in Capricorn, draconic sun in Taurus. My mind is usually stressed out and focused on negative, Saturn-type issues. But I think other people usually experience me more like a classic Taurus. I might cook all day but not really register that as an accomplishment because my mind is somewhere else. If I look alright/Venusian, I don't register that, either. I can appear self-indulgent to people who don't understand the stress profile or "higher" intention behind my actions...like here I am trying to read your chart, some would say (and HAVE said) this is me just wasting time, like a Taurus in lazy-mode, but I'm usually not thinking of it like that, because my Cap sun believes astrology is worth trying out at least, it serves a higher purpose...and I'm usually in THAT headspace. Not checking in with myself to see if I'm being "too Taurus"...though sometimes, I definitely am.
Anyway, bottom line, if you are looking for your shadows, yes Pluto is strong in your chart, but also Mars, and definitely Saturn, ruler of your SN in traditional astrology, and ruler of your draconic sun. All three malefic planets are strong in your chart. But these are all neatly modified and gentled by Venus energy, showing great potential for healing and conferring positive benefits to the people you interact with, especially when you are mindfully communicating.
Just some thoughts. I'd love it if other people chimed in...
