Trees <3 I love them so much. Greenery in general. It really hurts knowing that some of the places on Earth are loosing more and more of it's forest (Amazonia, for example).
Just imagine carving a house out of that huge tree (when it's dead)

Me, too! I love trees. I visited some of those giant trees in California, the redwoods and sequoias. Just unbelievable. The video I posted addresses the theory that some of these old mesas are actually tree stumps of trees that reached to the sky.

Wow, this is rather fascinating. I don't recall hearing about these myths, but I really want to believe in them. I remember when I was a child, I drew a few story books about creatures having in trees. It was kinda like Smurfs and Gummi Bears mixture plus my own imaginaion, as far as a child could go There is one tree I apsolutely love and have a fear of at the same time. I promised myself, when I buy my own house, I'll plant it. It doesn't have a hude trunk, but it's just so weirdly beautiful and... scary...and I want to touch it right now. It's called Araucaria araucana. While searching for an image, I found out it's an endangered species,so I want to plant it even more

Oh that tree is BEAUTIFUL!! Looks very alive and sentient, like an octopus almost I think it would be so perfect to live in a tree, if the tree didn't mind.

I knpw right, I also thought it looked liked like an octupus or some other sea creature. Searching for an image also brought me to a Pinterest page all about beautiful trees I'm a fan.
