Hi Are you ready for to we go? So, let's go then for to we explore β΅βπ
From: ASTROALIVE ASTROLOGY WONDERINGS By Lavinia Amoun
Vibilia: Asteroid 144 Named after the Roman Goddess of journeys and wanderers, as well as paths such as roads. If a traveler were to wander from their course, she would help them to find their way once again. Just as her role as a Goddess reflects, her placement in the natal chart reveals one's journeys, whether they are literal or symbolic.
Where Vibilia falls in the natal chart can reveal literal travelling practices, such as if one will make frequent jour eys in their life, or perhaps few, and the nature of these journeys. For example, in the 10th House or aspecting Saturn, Vibilia may indicate one travels for work; in the 5th House, it coulnt instead indicate travels relating to romance or artistic pursuits, or even children.
In the spiritual sense, Vibilia's placement and aspects can reveal the spiritual or emotional journeys life may hold for the native. Where it falls in the chart can show the journey for understanting, self-acceptance, or other revelations one may find themselves searching for in their life. The asteroid's position may serve as a guide to staying on the best path on reaching your goals. Mine is in 3rd House, in Leo 9Β° 24' (sidereal Virgo 3Β° 39') Aspects: Vibilia sextile Moon 0Β° 41' Vibilia sextile Mars 0Β° 6' Vibilia sextile North Node 2Β° 9' Vibilia sextile Iris 0Β° 53' Vibilia sextile Be continued........

Thank you Lionessmind. Mine's @ 9 Virgo, square 10 Gem Don Quixote and my 9 Sag Venus-Neptune midpoint...I guess the Virgo has kept me grounded when it comes to adventures of the heart. I mean, it could have been worse. This asteroid opposes Pisces Pholus.

Hello,
Mines @22 Virgo conjunct Chiron-IC, opp. Saturn-MC and sextile ASC.
I do travel for work and growing up, my family and I would always be traipsing over to somewhere. We were quite adventurous compared to other families I think. I'm lucky to have seen quite a number of countries in Europe due to family holidays and school trips. Travelling by air is one of my most favourite things in the world- love airports and all that. Landing back in my own country though always makes feel emotional!
We moved to a different place when I was 9 and I found that difficult at first, being a very shy kid and all. In the last 5 years I've lived in 3 different cities and that was due to studying at university plus clinical training. I don't suppose thats unusual for my generation these days but it's become the norm to be changing homes so often, looking for rental properties, worrying about deposits and all that haha!! It is normal now as I say, but at the same time it doesnt feel normal at all and I do just want to settle now.
With Vibilia influencing my IC-MC/Chiron-Saturn axis..well I'm sure others would have better interpretations but it perhaps has something to do with my adaptability. People take one look at my main planets in my chart (Taurus x 3) and assume I'm stubborn and rigid, but actually I am very versatile. So, I wonder if it has something to do with this asteroid and where it falls in my chart. My IC-MC, after all, are on mutable signs and point to my roots and parents, as well as career and legacy etc etc. My parents also travelled a bit before I was born. My mother lived abroad for a little bit and also joined the navy briefly and my fathers' childhood was characterised by several moves when he was growing up too.
Perhaps the message (from my chart) is that change and versatility, ironically, go hand in hand with stability and foundations. I've had to physically and mentally move around a lot to find my adulthood home and where to settle etc. That goes for anything I suppose though...to get something right, it is necessary to keep testing the waters and adjust if needed.

Hi FruityLlama πΌπ I believe that, you had very very difficult time with outside world, and in your childhood, you was trying to overcome shyness. That you find the world somewhat rude and cruel. Chiron in 4th House show a difficult childhood. Saturn opposition, loneliness. A child alone trying.
I think, travels create to you more self-confidence, although it was not easy in the begining. I do not know how else to explain.
But, I believe, it is not good for you to change so much and too often homes, and to travel continuously. You have to calm a little bit, to see your self, and to begin other type journeys: The esoteric jurneys, of self-discovery, and self-acceptance, adulthood journey.
And you need a HOME, only one, please. You need stability, and is not bad, at all. To have a base. A base is important for to you put your thoughts in order.
I call your chart: The big journey of self- theraphy, and joy. (Therapy begins at home, from parents and traveling, and in school, in order to handle your shyness towards outside world). That means Vibilia conjuct Chiron in IC, opposition Saturn, MC.
Am i wrong? Tell me please if. With loveπ Lionmind

Hi FruityLlama πΌπ
Chiron in 4th House show a difficult childhood.
Everyone keeps saying that, yet I have Chiron in 4th house and I`ve had a very happy childhood.
BTW of course you are not wrong, this is how Chiron is interpreted in every astrology book, too. Just it seems to simplistic in real life. And well, I even have Saturn square Chiron, though the square is a bit over 3 degrees, so might be too wide possibly?

Hi lumina!π³I feel sorry, if my post upset you. But, it is not from only the books, it is going from my experience, generally from Chiron. But, of course, the books are giving emfasis to the wounds of Chiron. Very seldom in to teaching ability of Chiron! But, everyone is different. May be Chiron in 4th House, means an early home environment with doctors, who are busy, with patients with unhealed diseases. Or school teachers who educate "special" children. My wrong to make these comments Lionmind! π

Lionessmind your post didn`t upset me and there is no need to apologize. What you described IS one of the manifestations of Chiron in 4th house, but I often find that astrologers see that placement and it is almost like a reflex to say: Ah, difficult childhood. While that might be true in some cases, i find that this is too simplistic and doesn`t do justice to Chiron, also, a lot of people have difficult (periods in their) childhoods, no matter if Chiron in 4th or not. I can certainly see the manifestation of Chiron in my upbringing. My grandparents were living with us, and my aunt was growing up with me (as her and my mom`s mother died when my aunt was just 2 years old, and eventually, after my mom had me, her and my Dad decided that my aunt needed a stable environment in a family, so she lived with us). Also my middle brother, who was born 2 years after me, has the Down syndrome, which also certainly made our family life a little out of the ordinary. Also it led to my parents becoming sort of central figures in (different) non profit organization helping people with special needs (my mom was even the co-founder of one of these organizations). Naturally that meant that I was growing up with a different value-system than most of peers, and I guess it did set me apart from my age-group, making me a bit of an outsider, not in a bad or malevolent way, it just was clear that my family was my primary tribe. So, I think in my case this is definitely a manifestation of that Chiron in 4th house. A rather colourful family constellation I suppose. Oh for some time my mother (well my parents) were temporary foster parents to another boy with Down syndrome (who was living with his grandmother, and my mother offered to take him in, when the grandomther had to be hospitalized for a time, but that was just a few weeks/ months). And my mom took care of her father after his stroke that left him semi-paralyzed, and he died at our home (actually right where I am sleeping now, I sort of "inherited" the appartment, obviously I am staying close to my parents, also to be of assistance when it comes to my brother and my parents.) However, I am actually very thankful for having been given the chance to grow up in such an amazing family. Hey, my aunt even saved all her holiday time one year to go to Togo and assist at a school there for hearing impaired pupils (she is a nurse, not a teacher btw), and that was certainly a big step. Of course just temporary, but honestly I do not know anyone else who stepped out of their own life and into a so completely foreign country and culture, even if it was just for 2-3 months. I suppose I am the most boring of all my family members. lol
And well my Dad once rejected the offer to become some sort of diplomat or something, which actually had some career-setbacks for him (the declining of this offer). Well when i asked him why he had declined that offer, he said: "I knew that our family would not have survived this new job."
(he meant that the distance that this would have created would probably have led to serious trouble between my mom and him, and hence the family.)
Actually he`s been approached quite a few times by some "renowned societies", but well he declined all offers (he simply doesnΒ΄t like it if those "good causes" comes with "(invisible) strings attached"). Most of it happened under the radar of us children of course.

Hi FruityLlamaπΌplease accept my apologies, if I insult you. I am learning. I had not bad intention.
Just, I read in books that Chiron in 4th House do that. May be, in your case ,Iss not like that. May be happens the other occasion, the home invironment with doctors in family, who cure patiens with unhealed diseases, or teachers for "special needs" children, and the child see the pain of the world, through parents or conversations at home. Or may be not at all, of these. Everyone knows better. With loveπ Lionmind

LionessmindI hope you are not upset, we value your contributions and input very much. lumina, So good to hear about your family, its priorities and caregiving. FruityLlama, Interesting to hear about your life, too! Thanks for exploring that. Just felt like responding to all this. The asteroid seems significant in light of the reaction. I have 4H Uranus and the instability/traveling seems to match 4H Vibilia a bit. From what I've seen there can actually be a serious downside when there is too much disruption and change at home as we're growing up. We might not even recognize it because there is no one to point it out, we just become adaptable, and if there is never a stable base again, well so what, we don't feel that we've lost anything really. It's like, the heart of the nomad. Well my sun is conjunct asteroid Wanders and I have Sag Venus so I was bound to be a little unsettled regardless.

Thanks a lot lumina! Finally, I had some of right things in my second interpretation. And that gives to me joy and power to continue learning astrology, on and on.Of course, while I have not Chiron in 4th House, I have sister ill, with epilepsy, unhappy. My Chiron is in 9th House, opposite 3rd House planets. (House of sisters and brothers and short journeys)Just I should be more flexible generally. With love Lionmind π

LionessmindOh no, you didn't upset me! What you said resonates a lot. In fact, my mother is a nurse and I had a few health problems growing up and I am also an audiologist now. We didn't move home often as a young family, we moved once to another town and spent weekends exploring new places so it wasn't traumatic, it was fun but life has been constantly changing recently and everything has been a stepping stone. So now I feel ready to create a proper home for myself, although I am of the generation that is going to really struggle to become home owners so...we'll see.. AvaI also have Wanders in the 4th! Too wide to conjunct anything though. I feel in some way at home when exploring new places. I feel very connected to other certain countries- Italy and Greece. When I travelled to Italy earlier this year, the whole process made me feel nostalgic but perhaps because it reminded me of going on holiday with my parents. I am however, very very anxious about travelling by myself, unless it's by train..and in the daytime. That might be where Vibilia-Chiron in Virgo comes in as well. There's some love for travelling but also total fear. I was such an anxious new driver..I think I made a post here about it last year. I'm much better now, but if Vibilia in any way relates to transport as well then I could definitely see how Chiron adds a bit of fear there. It's definitely not a good idea to have too much disruption in childhood, I totally agree.

Thank you so much FruityLlamaππIn the reality, I knew that there was disruption in childhood due to traveling, but I did not know how to express it, and therefore, for that I wrote "difficult childhood".
And, also known, that there is somehow fear for traveling. Vibilia conjuct Chiron! You see, Vibilia in 4th (home, family, early years) opposition Saturn. Home-traveling, gypsy life. Out of frame! I did worry, that I will turn on wounds, if like that I go to enter to the unpermitted area. Because we must be careful in our interpretations. So, I was in very difficult position. But, that difficulty made my mind more multifaceted, and I show other perspectives of the same aspects.Thank youπ

Hey LionessmindI love journeys, to travel, explore, but I can't call myself active nor organized π
, I am quite opposite. My Mars also squares Pluto and Saturn, so they could affect me somehow. I love to travel, outdoors, I wish I lived in a forest or by the sea, but I don't like hiking or sunbathing. Very contradictory in a way π

I agree with you Lionessmind I need to find something I'll enjoy. I was thinking of aerobics or pole-dancing classes. I prefer group activities and can't stand gym type exercises. Perhaps, I need to go against my preferences and give the gym another chance
