I have Karma conjunct Sun. Also conjunct Felicitas, and I had interpreted this as a fated life (so is everyone's) with good karma earned in a previous life.
This is an insight I received through meditation. I see that Karma means pain and I bear this burden. It could be the pain from this life, or all my lives or the pain I see everywhere. Karma also includes the memories of pain I may have inflicted on other people. For it to be conjunct my Sun is a life where all my quests are driven by the need to lessen the pain. I felt that that is my destiny - to find ways of lessening pain. I sense that is also a gift (hence, Fecilitas). One way it is a gift is that in my quest to lessen the pain, I will see and note the myriad expressions of nobility, dignity and hope that can emerge despite the most extreme circumstances. Noting those instances will lend me courage and optimism. These are expressions of healing of those hellish spaces and how grace is manifest.

😀🌹💕Oh, @astrokeen ! This is magic! To reseive a such insight through meditation! I feel really glad for you! This is from your too much strong Iris, sextile Sun and Neptune. My Sun is square Karma 2 degrees 28', but I have Felicitas sextile my Sun! 2 degrees 23' What do you think?

Lionessmind , Felicitas sextile your Sun offers ease and times of good fortune. We all need those. I think I may have commented on your Sun square Karma before. A square between Sun and Karma represents a struggle, much like a conjunction that I have. I think Karma generally represents things to resolve or come to terms with in this life. Thanks for reminding me that Iris (messenger of the Gods) is sextile my Sun/Neptune.

I have Felicitas in my 4th house, at 18*Aquarius, sextile my Mercury. Karma at 1*Cancer. I only have it trine my planets, as far as I know (trine Mars in Pisces, and Uranus/ascendant in Scorpio), or semi-sextile my Moon/Venus/South Node.

Chris Bache, a professor who wrote about his work with Lsd to investigate consciousness speaks of the 'Ocean of Suffering". He witnessed or uncovered a vast reservoir of suffering which comprised the suffering of the species. His experience of it, he felt, helped to heal some of that suffering. The individual and the species were deeply interwoven in his sessions with Lsd. He felt that the magnitude of cosmic suffering is so great that each of us may be asked to heal that suffering through experiencing it. This made me wonder if Karma conjunct my Sun was one tiny instance of sharing the burden of the species suffering. I could tap into the pain of previous generations or the wider world and find a small way to lessen it. There are Buddhist meditations and the Ho'oponopono prayer which are directed to this purpose. anela , your soft aspects between Karma and the planets should offer support as does Felicitas sextile Mercury. Nothing which you cannot manage.

A square between Sun and Karma represents a struggle I have this as well. 15.47 Capricorn sun 17.00 Libra Karma I've been fortunate because it's only been struggle so far and not trauma/catastrophe. Still, Libra is a relationship sign and those have not been easy.

I have Karma on 16 Gemini in 7th house, trine Moon, semisextile Saturn and square Juno. No comment. lol
BTW just for the record (in my case, a broken record I guess. lol), I don`t consider Karma as inherently bad or difficult or tragic or catastrophic. It just means "deed" and "consequence". So rewards would actually also fall under this header, we just seem to be inclined to only see the negative tilt, maybe it is just typically human.
Anyway squares and oppositions, quinkunxes (and some conjunctions) with this pesky little asteroid might be rather... uncomfortable. BTW semisextiles do also fall under the awkward/ uncomfortable/ lesson-category.

Also as intriguing and telling asteroids are, Saturn will still have the final say in terms of Karma (and probably the nodal axis)

So rewards would actually also fall under this header, we just seem to be inclined to only see the negative tilt, maybe it is just typically human. That was the interpretation I was ascribing to Karma (I am naturally optimistic) but my insights suggest otherwise in my case. I don't wish to delve into the process by which I arrived at the new perspective but it was one that leant a great deal of clarity to me. I have other crosses (squares) to bear too. My Sun/Karma are square Uranus and Karma exactly squares Chiron. Ugh! Karma 0.18 (Scorpio) Sun 1.35 Chiron 0.15 (Aqua) But I love the explanations provided by Chris Bache and see the continuing pain I often experience in meditative states as an opportunity to release the pain. I would like to point out that the suffering or pain can go beyond our individual deeds and include the collective pain of our generation or ancestors or even the human species, i.e., our collective Karma. Maybe that is where my Hygeia and Reiki conjunct Saturn will be involved.

Well everyone has their own insights, and obviously Karma CAN be about suffering, it just doesn`t have to be. It`s in itself more neutral than this, depending on the previous action.
However this square you mentioned above looks very painful to me.

You guys, how interesting—side note, I was literally just thinking on this asteroid yesterday, because I realized I have it conjunct three people’s, by less than 1 degree ( lumina, you’re one of them, and the other two are my aunt and her husband). @astrokeen, what a beautiful gift, to receive insight into the meaning of Karma. It seems like my husband has the Sun/Karma conjunction in synastry (uggghh phone, not “dynasty”, lol) with our youngest, if I recall correctly. I do believe that your actions in this life reflect that desire to stop pain wherever you can, through positive activism and education. Maybe that’s the positives we’re all seeing. 💕

I have Karma conjunct my Mum's North Node, and it's also conjunct the Taurus' Mars/Saturn. I think his was square my Saturn.
I've found the transits don't usually make sense to me, but the houses it transits have reflected things that happened at the time - like when something really affected my self-esteem, and it was moving through my second house.
