Hello, Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure if harmonics were basic or advanced astrology. I'm just starting a thread about this as a general discussion as I noticed I have this configuration in my chart: Does anyone know anything about it? I have tried to do some reading on it and have a little info- something to do with creativity? I have been reading this wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yod_(astrology)Do you have it too and if so, how do you relate to it? I'll have to think about mine wrt the planets/angles involved. Jupiter sits exactly on the 5th/6th house axis so that confuses me more. I'd like to think it's in my 5H but its a little ambiguous. Maybe it feeds into both?

Usually i would consider jupiter in the 6th house because it is on the same degree as the cusp. However it is retro, so it pulks back into rhe 5th, so yes it connects both houses.

My partner has it too in the same signs and similar degrees, but different planets: He is very creative when it comes to food and drink, as well as music which I think is shown via Neptune, Cancer and Taurus energies there. He isn't very good at finishing a creative project though- chiron in Taurus?

Thanks lumina, it makes me think of "creative tidying up!" with 5H and 6H being connected! Or maybe my children will be tidy haha!

I never am sure if angles count in aspectfigures, but if rhey do, of course it is a mp configuration too. Jupiter on the Sun/asc mp vibrating to the 5th harmonic.

Oh yes of course, my midpoint is opposite n.Jupiter! If they do count then, then this would answer a longtime question I have had about my chart. My interests and skills revolve mainly around Jupiter/Sag themes, aswell as neptune or Venus maybe but they I think are more pronounced in my chart anyway. I always wondered why Sag or Jupiter were not though, but perhaps this configuration explains it.
I feel as though quintiles are a little slippery too- they seem to take time to get a hold of.

Yes, of course, Jupiter is pretty big as Apex of that Golden Yod and midpoint-configuration. Also I think the overlapping triangles with your partner is just so cool!
Yes, slippery. They are zany, like 5th harmonic aspects, they break up the stability of the 4, which sometimes can mean rigidity and being stuck as well, and infuse jolts of new sparks and energy and sometimes craziness. Think of Mozart, he had such a strong 5th harmonic chart!
BTW I think they are more Uranian in nature than Neptunian, and I have never come across the Neptune Reference. They are offbeat, walking off the beaten track, just following the drum of their own creative pulse. it often occurs strongly in charts of musicians. Maybe they are an Uranian/NEptunian mix
