"The rule of thumb is to place the Solar Eclipse and all the transits of that day around the natal and progressed charts (be sure to date the eclipse). Do the same with the Lunar Eclipse, also including the date. Continue to watch these two charts at the time of each New and Full Moon. Note any important transits during the New or Full Moon period that highlight the aspects formed between the previous eclipse and transits to natal or progressed planets at that time. This is why events promised by the previous Solar and Lunar Eclipses will occur at different times for different people. Each individual has his or her own set of planetary aspects to be activated by a New or Full Moon and the transits. " also "To determine when the actual event predicted by the lunation will occur, it is imperative to watch the transiting Moon or Sun (or both) as they leave the conjunction position and transit through the natal or progressed chart. Very often one of these two will make an aspect to the planet that was activated in that chart on the day of the lunation by another transiting planet, " Mason, Sophia. Lunations and Predictions . American Federation of Astrologers. Kindle-Version. Mason, Sophia. Lunations and Predictions . American Federation of Astrologers. Kindle-Version. (I heard Transiting Mars also activates an eclipse, indicating the time when we will see it manifest) Starting with the Solar Eclipse of 2018 on 18 Leo the eclipse was opposite my natal Moon (leaving out progressions for now) with a bit over 1 degree separating. partile transits to my chart were: Tr Venus conjunct MC and sextile Mars Tr Mars square Uranus Tr Uranus opposite pr Uranus Tr Node trine Mars Well in this instance it is particularly easy, even a little unusual as the exact aspect was just before the eclipse, but so shortly before that I think it was tied to it. Tr Sun was opposing my Moon the day before, and at the exact time of the event was within partile orb (I think about half a degree or 40 minutes separating) Tr Moon on 4 Leo was conjunct tr NN on 5 Leo (partile) and both were sextile my MC and trine my Mars Tr Moon had just been exactly square my natal and pr Uranus the exact time (4 hours earlier) I peformed an action that would maybe trigger said event, or at least being connected to it. Interesting so in this case the theory worked it seems. Also a few months later, there was an event I feel to be connected to the mentioned one, and at the exact time (I am talking about the hour, not even the day. lol) Tr Moon was on 17-18 Aquarius conjunct my natal Moon and opposing the eclipsed degree. This is downright creepy. like clockwork. another event resulting from that had Tr Moon on 4 Libra exactly conjunct my natal MC and sextile my natal Mars, and as mentioned on the day of the eclipse those two were activated as well. Of course transiting Moon would have been there once a month, not resulting in an event every time I think at least. And the author sais that this is true, not every month something happens, that is where the lunations come into play. only when those are activating those degrees, the month will hold such an event, and in that case, the event can be timed with the transiting Sun or Moon. Well the New Moon before actually was square my natal Moon (by 2 degrees - hence activating the eclipsed planet once more, adding something new to it) Tr Node squaring natal Uranus, also an activated planet in the eclipse, and of course through dispositorship even stronger than through the partile transit alone (btw the following Lunation - New Moon had Tr Venus conjunct my Uranus) Tr Saturn conjunct natal Venus and square natal MC - not quite what I would have expected, but then again the first part of the month was a bit "difficult". then exactly 2 days after the full moon lunation, things suddenly became so much easier: this chart had: the fullmoon conunct my AMOR for what its worth and squaring pr Venus Tr Mercury, dispositor of the ecclipse Moon, conjunct natal Neptune and NN Tr Saturn conjunct pr Mars and n Venus (both were activated in the eclipse - actually going by Celeste Teal, and that tr Mars opens and tr Saturn closes/ concludes eclipses, this particular eclipses is still ongoing, though possibly overlayed by others, until Tr Saturn will cross over 18 Aquarius) Tr Mars square Mars (so a transiting Mars-trigger as per theory) Hmm, could be all a coincidence but so far it seems rather intriguing. So 1. Starting with the Solar eclipse in particular (and using the luanr eclipses as secondary): aspects of the eclipse to natal/ progressed chart and the simultaneous partile transits: this gives us a sensitive eclipse degree, which will react with an event if a transiting planet crosses it (and if a natal planet is there, this one will be extremely sensitized to the coming transits, as my Moon was that year. So now it would be my Venus, as there was just a Solar Eclipse on my Venus - let`s wait for Tr Mars to come around. ) 2. Checking the lunations, mostly New Moon, but also fullmoon charts for either the lunation itself or transiting planets making exact aspects in particular to the activated planets in our chart (the eclipsed planets). 3. if that check is positive, and pointing at an event-active month, then seeing what Tr Sun, Tr Moon and Tr Mars are doing in particular (though I think the other planetary transits would be valid as well) and when that month they aspect the eclipsed planets. At least that is how it worked with my example here. lol

So let me have a look at in particular the Solar Eclipses of last year There was in january the Solar Eclipse on 15 Cap - Sun-Moon were having a 12 degree orb to the nodal axis, and a solar eclipse can only happen if the New Moon is up to 18 degrees to the nodal axis, and a lunar eclipse has an orb of about 12 degrees of a fullmoon to the nodal axis. So this particular eclipse was not a totally potent one, because the orb was not very close. I`d range it in average strength or medium strength, on itself. There are of course other things in play possibly making it more influential, esp. in connection to some natal charts (yes I know Ava ) That Solar Eclipse was conjunct Saturn within a bit more than 3 degrees (and conjunct Pluto, but with a 5 degree orb, so just at the outer range). HOwever the conjunction to Saturn was important, as Saturn was the dispositor of the eclipse. I read that the ruler of an eclipse is the dispositing planet(s) UNLESS a transiting planet is closely conjunct either end of the eclipse, then that planet becomes the dominant force, it is almost like the eclipse opens a nodal portal to boost the strength of this planet. hence if an eclipse conjuncts its own ruler, that becomes extra powerful, at least the planet. So what we had last year was a totally Saturnian-eclipse. For me personally it was even more pronounced as that Solar Eclipse was opposing my Saturn on 16 Cancer (1°32), and conjunct my progressed ASC on 15 Cap. So yes, important. So that eclipse was definitely energizing/ activating my Saturn and every lunation aspecting my SAturn (or the accompanying transits aspecting my SAturn with partile orb) would pinpoint a month when this would be REALLY on the fore. Since I was having a lot of Tr saturn opposing my natal Saturn during the year, and my Saturn was not only being the activated planet by the eclipse, but by an eclipse in Capricorn, disposited by Saturn itself - of course it would be completely Saturnian. Couldn`t I have thought of that last year? lol Also the axis of 15-16 Capricorn-Cancer would be sensitive to receiving transits and obviously this would target my Saturn and affect my 2nd and 8th house (the eclipse being in the second house, my Saturn in the 8th house) other partile transits in the eclipse chart to my natal chart were Tr Mercury conjunct Vesta - well I was hesitating to include that since it is an asteroid, but it had ZERO orb and actually my Vesta is on my Sun/Venus-mp and a bit wider Mercury/Venus-mp Tr Saturn sextile Jupiter - just a sextile, but it was made by the ruler of the eclipse AND the ruler of my progressed ASC to the ruler of my natal ASC, I read that is a very special and powerful thing to have; it probably was the saving grace of last year. lol Just meant I had to actively put energy and effort into working on my Jupiter, well my Jpuiter falls into my 3rd house; and yes a lot of thinking and recalibrating my thoughtpatterns and my sense of identity and maybe een more important starting to gradually become more involved in writing, or actually in making some of my past writing public. Tr Pluto square Chiron and opposite ErosSo you could say these were the activated planets for me (just natal, did not check progressed except for pr ASC), Saturn certainly the most prominent and potent, and then Jupiter, Vesta, Chiron and Eros. I actually can see that. NOt only Jpuiter, but also Vesta might have spoken about stoic dedication (hey Vesta in Capricorn after all. ) to artistic thinking, literature, communication etc (Mercury/Venus-mp) and also maybe to what I find beautiful or even what makes me romantically attracted (Sun/Venus) and all despite Saturn being a pain in my ass and thorn in my side and Tr Pluto not making things any lighter either. lol (btw Pluto was also in orb for Sun/Moon and MOon/MErcury-mp; Chiron on the far Uranus/Pluto-mp) Now, except for that january when would these be fully in play? that is where I turn to the other lunations. The following lunar eclips actually had Tr Saturn exactly opposing my pr Saturn - so that would have been noteworthy The Lunar Eclipse (as a commentary to the previous Solar eclipse) was squaring my Uranus, which was a new one, but certainly makes sense. Around that time I was sort of trying to distract myself, get a bit away from that heaviness, basically I was watching a lot of Bat out of hell shows around that time, and maybe just a coincidence, but was communicating quite a bit with the Italian, who happens to be an Aquarius. LOL (his Saturn is on 0 or 1 Aqua, like Ava btw, so I guess no coincidence - like connecting with him was just manifesting the SAturn-Uranus-character of both eclipses, and serving to distract me but also to push me a little further) Tr Pluto was still on my Sun/Moon-mp but had gone out of partile orb for my Chiron, so maybe that served to at least letting loose of one of the work-areas. lol The New Moon of february was conjunct my Moon, and had Tr Venus exactly conjunct my Vesta and Tr Saturn on my pr ASC, albeit not yet partile to my n Saturn. well this was just a couple of day before the concert that was themed "When musical meets history". lol How fitting for a Moon-Saturn-emphasis! Hmm I am too lazy right now to continue this, but I think I start understanding how things are connecting to each other in terms of eclipses, lunations and transits.

Nothing much happened for me in the months following those eclipses on my sun and Saturn. And they were partile conjunctions.
Maybe something happened but I missed it? Maybe that's how boring Capricorn and Saturn can be? lol
Oh but I did reunite with my Cap roommate from college in those months; I hadn't seen her for several years, at least 7 years. Today's her birthday. Maybe the eclipse helped bring us together. Unlike me she was designing epic plans for her future, about to embark on another extreme adventure. (Adventure #1 was riding her bike from the northern tip of Alaska to the southern tip of Argentina, years ago.)
===
Looking for a truly extreme event, and wanting to test if the eclipse predicted it in any way, I decided to check the last eclipse before my mother's death with her natal chart and the transits when she died.
The eclipse featured 13 Leo sun/13 Aqua moon, with the NN @ 7 Aqua. Transits for the day she passed:
10 Leo, eclipse's draconic Atropos 11 Leo, her natal Atropos 12 Leo, her natal Mercury 13 Leo, eclipse sun 13 Leo, eclipse draconic Priapus 13 Leo, transiting Jupiter (tr sun dispositor)
17 Gemini, eclipse Atropos 17 Sag, tr sun 17 Sag, tr Juno
I'm checking and re-checking and there really isn't much to go on.
Well without her birth time I'm missing a lot of potentially crucial information.
Draconics impress me as usual though. The eclipse featured sun conjunct draconic Priapus mirroring her natal sun-Priapus conjunction in later Leo. Eclipse draco Lilith on her natal draco sun-Priapus.
=> But stripping away all the extras, the draconic and asteroids, it boils down to the eclipse hitting her Mercury, and then transiting Jupiter coming along to expand her mind to the furthest extent, as some might think of it.
As for me and my synastry with that eclipse, well you know natally I have:
15 Cap sun 16 Aries Jupiter 16 Gemini Mars
And the eclipse had:
16 Taurus Mars 16 Cancer Pallas 15 Scorpio Pluto
....forming a Mystic Rectangle with my sun, and aspecting my natal mid-degree planets. But I don't see any timing markers in that, unless I include stuff @ 17 degrees, and then there is something, but not enough for me to consider the eclipse a significant prediction tool, because it's 17, not 16. Maybe I just don't understand enough.
Edit: Forgot to look at lunations! Well in my totally bumbling-about, novice examination, all that catches my eye is in the SR for that month is, Ceres @ 10 Libra, conjunct my natal Pluto, which in turn conjuncts my draconic Ceres-Atropos exactly. And my mother had Pluto-Ceres natally, so maybe that's a clue. Eclipse antivertex @ 10 Libra, inconjunct Mercury @ 10 Virgo...minor things I wouldn't extract life-altering predictions from.
Pls don't quote

AvaI have a few thoughts.... However if you are okay with it i wozld like to check myself or see the charts. Can you message me your mothers birthdate and the day of her death? As for the cap eclipse last year, maybe think again. Sometimes we might be so caught up in our lives, that we might not quite see what happens. But just compare between 2017 letscsay and 2019 orveven 2018 and 2019, cant you really see what is different?

Some of the thoughts I had - According to astrologers eclipses have a longer "life"; the ideas vary from 1,5 years to more. ONe of the more frequent theories is that Eclipses "life" depends on the lenght of their shadow period (hours = years), so the average Eclipse has a "life" of about 3,5 years. It means that earlier eclipses can still be "active". Also it seems that the end of the life of an eclipse is brought about either by this timefading out, or Tr Saturn passing the eclipsed degree or the opposing degree (which does not happen often, but just sometimes obviously) Everytime Mars is transiting the eclipsed degree, there is supposed to be a strong activation of the eclipse,. Other planets transiting this eclipse degree, also relate and wake up the eclipse, even if it had been months or even lets say the previous year. If such an eclipse is in aspect to a natal or progressed planet (esp. conjunction or opposition), and a transiting planet passes over this degree and of course the natal or progressed planet then the eclipse-themese are activated again, and in fact the eclipsed natal planet is extremely sensitive to transits from planets. - According to some astrologers the Solar eclipses are more important in setting the theme, the trend, and the lunar eclipses then modify or add to that theme, but the "frame of experience" is created by the Solar Eclipse. In your case Ava , I suppose the eclipse you were mentioning was in summer 1990?, there was a Solar eclipse before that on 29 Cancer, which made me listen up instantly. It was a total eclipse. The distance between the Node and Eclipse was just about 8 degrees, that is one of the closer ones, probably for that reason it WAS total. Yes, a total Solar Eclipse can only happen when the orb between nodes and the New Moon is about 10 degrees, for lunar eclipses the orb has to be under 4 degrees, I think 3,5 degrees. The closer the Nodes are to the eclipse the stronger it is in general. This solar eclipse was a strong one, not just because it was total, but also because it was in the sign of Cancer; and also in a general sense it was a SOUTHERN Node Eclipse (SN in Leo near the New Moon), and also on an ending degree. This was just generally important. For me this eclipse back then actually was not THAT big, as it had a meagre square to my Uranus - exciting enough, but certainly not a tragic one. The orb of eclipses to natal or progressed planets is wider than for normal transits (3-5 degrees). The other transits had to be, not on the same degree , but within 1 degree orb (though I do think the same degree is very potent and telling us something, the effect would still be there on the neighbouring degree, as long as in 1 degree orb). For me personally those other transits in the eclipse chart were: Tr Venus trine Uranus (just in orb, BUT of course my Uranus was "eclipsed" by a square - and yes, what a CRAZY time that was for me! Crazy, sparkling, infinite. a feeling of infinity, of anything is possible, the sky is not even the limit - a little delusional and overly fantastic and not from this world certainly, but I was SOOOO happy this summer, well until the summer ended, then I crashed a little. lol) Tr Mars trine Venus (actually that WAS A same degree transit) Tr Saturn conjunct my Sun/Moon-mp (I think I was having pr or solar arc Venus conjunct my Sun/Moon-mp that year as well - and how curious we are talking about THAT time, as tr Saturn is just returning there!) Tr Uranus conjunct Venus (another same degree aspect, and together with Tr Venus trine URanus a DW - no wonder it felt crazy and ecstatic to me) The aspects to your chart Ava however were different. Starting with the eclipse itself, it was conjunct your Saturn by just a degree, and crossing the cusp from Cancer to Leo, SAturn rules your 6th house and sits in your 12th house - well there are certainly easier placement for a SAturn. There are always strengths in each placement, but there is a bit of challenge here. This eclipse also was squaring your IC. Apart from this the other transits Tr Mars exactly opposing your 4th house Uranus (this time it WAS a same degree aspect), and remember how it is said that in particular Tr Mars activates/ brings up the themes/ issues of an eclipse, in this case it would certainly bring upheaval, or sudden, even shocking developments in your family/ home - it could have been more positive, but I guess with the Eclpise itself on an ending degree on your Saturn in 12th house - the positive effects were not really to be expected, unless you would have been a monk meditating in Tibet or something. And well so far we have an activated 12th house Saturn and an activated 4th house URanus - unbearable tension, reaching to the deepest level of your psyche. Tr Mars also in orb for squaring Mercury as well (Mercury rules your 11th house - in derivative houses it is the 8th house from the 4th - there was a massive transformation to be expected, if that was relating to other people, and not you yourself directly. transformation of your family structure, and in this instance, just literally the death (8th house) of your mother or at least a parental figure (4th house). Tr Uranus sextile your Uranus in 4th house (and Uranus ruling your 7th house) - maybe that simply meant that other people or relationships to other people gave you a chance to not break completely, but somehow survive this emotionally traumatizing (Eclipse on 29 Cancer in your 12t house conjunct Saturn) period in your life. Tr Pluto sextile Sun might have given avenues to find some inner strength as well, also Tr Pluto in your 4th house sextile the ruler of 1st house, the irreversible transformations of your family structure shaped the expression and feeling of your identity, maybe bringing out a need to feel useful or of service to others, because you HAD to somehow function. (Usually I would not even look at a sextile in transits, and it is probabl ynot really strong, but that eclipse was conjunct your Sun-dispositor, it was also just on the vergoe of entering the sign of the Sun). and as if that was not pummeling your 4th house enough already, transiting Node squaring your Uranus enough - it is that kind of eclipse when I just feel like: "Enough already!" just having a look at it, actually I wanted to just have a short look, but somehow got pulled in. - another thing I read is that eclipses often activated progressed or progressed-natal aspects that are operating (within the 1 degree orb). But anyway, that eclipse actually fell in my 8th house (and conjunct Priapus ), but you can see from the set of transits just how different it looked for either of us. - I forgot what else to write about eclipses - oh yes, wait, personally I think that while Solar eclipses may set the tone of a time (and I do think, even if they stay alive for a few years, it is usually the most recent Solar eclipse having the most say and esp a total one), lunar eclipses can generate big effects. Also this is a theory of mine, I have not tested, but while the eclipse degree certainly is sensitive, I am also thinking about the midpoint of the node and the eclipse degree as maybe a focal point. In the case of the lunar eclipse you mentioned that focal degree where the Sun-Moon and NOde literally merge together would be conjunct your ASC - again shaping your identity (and well being a lunar eclipse at the South node, either through asessing something in the past or a separation). - btw something I read about death charts is that most of the times you can read the death of a person easier from the charts of their loved ones. - also it seems that surprisingly often in the death chart (transits) there seems to be Jupiter-transits (esp. if dying after an illness I guess, I could imagine more Uranian aspects if dying through an accident). Oh and quinkunxes, actually I have also come across the mentioning that quinkunxes seem to be operative at times of separations and breakups of marriages/ relationships too (in progressions and solar arcs mainly, don`t know if that is true). Phew sorry this got long, but as I said I got pulled into that chart.

Avaas for the Solar eclipse on your Sun last year.... Even if eclipses had not a certain "lifespan", this one was part of your Solar Return, so active for you all year anyway. It was a South Node eclipse as well, so highlighting more the need of release something past to make way for the future, than being about purely fresh incoming energy. Being a Solar Eclipse still about a new beginning but oriented to the South Node the new beginning could only happen under the condition of resolving something past, or letting go, releasing, even just changing a mindset possibly. The orb between the New Moon and the nodal axis was about 12 degrees, so not very close, I`d say on its own it would have been of average strength but the conjunction to its Dispositor made it noteworthy, maybe not stronger, or more prominent or compelling in a general sense, but more specific (Saturnian). For you however it WAS a strong one, being part of your Solar Return and: - conjunct your Sun in 6th house - (square your Jupiter in 9th) - (quinkunx your Mars in 11th) the "focal point/ Mp of node and New Moon" was actually conjunct transiting Pluto - so I`d think this is important, but possibly more for me than you, as you don`t have planets there, unless some important midpoint falls there that I am not aware of. the other transits were: - Tr Mercury quinkunx Saturn in 12th - Tr Jupiter conjunct Neptune in 5th - Tr Saturn square Pluto in 3rd - Tr Uranus possibly conjunct MC - Tr NOde possibly square MC I think this eclipse already foreshadowed several things: - yes, you getting pets. lol Sun in 6th house activation - Also probably getting more deeply into questions about a healthy lifestyle, nutrition, etc. as 6th house themes - being concerned with health-issues, your own or of other people - getting a job! and not just any job, but one in the field of food/ nutrition! - making a decision about H., even though this happened a bit later, releasing him and communication, or laying down firm groundrules (can it get any more Saturnian?) and being painfully adamant about it, even though it probably felt or feels like cutting off a part of yourself (Tr Saturn square Pluto in 3rd). Also more psychologically maybe, since I`ve known you, you have talked about divorce, but it wasn`t until this year that you actively started to do that. Not in a legal way, but you became much more selfreliant, independent (as far as that is possible) than you have been before, much less fearing what your husband would say or how he would react (at least you weren`t communicating that), and taking yourself more serious and asserting yourself in a steadfast, quiet, but unshakable way. I am not quite sure what the Jupiter-Neptune there was, maybe the ideals were too high? I know that the decisions were manifesting later that year, but I also think that those decisions and the mindset change was being prepared by this eclipse, working from underneath so to speak. Now it would be of course interesting to see what the most recent eclipses were about when your decisions manifested in the outer world, and probably the lunar eclipse would tell us a lot here, too, and maybe it is important if there is a total eclipse, maybe those really sort of generate MORE compelling potency. But even so - in august Tr Saturn was moving through 15 Capricorn and hence over the eclipse degree (basically ending the eclipse then with a bang. ) or almost, the last hit of Saturn to 15 Capricorn was end october/ beginning november, so then ending the eclipse apparently. And obviously being conjunct your Sun, which was being completely oversensitized by the eclipse there anyway. And now just think back to when you were talking to H and putting an end to the former way of connecting, when you were getting the job and starting working there and when your niece died. Apart from the all important Saturn-transit (and yes, Saturn does not scream and yell loudly, but he just piles up the tasks onto you, and for you it has a lot to do with the 6th and 12th and to a degree 1st house themes in particular). Tr Mars had been opposing the eclipse degree on 8-11th june, not sure what happened then for you; I was actually on the whitsun festival on 9th june. lol Tr URanus was opposing your 4th house uranus all through august and september I think, maybe even october Tr Neptune was conjunct your 8th house Moon at least at the beginning of august, and probably in july In august the transiting mean Node was also opposing the eclipsed degree and your Sun, well tr SN on your Sun And in the end of october/ beginning of november Tr mean Node was squaring your Pluto. of course in july just before, there were a Solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse. Not going into depth here but the total (!) Solar eclipse was a NORTH Node one, so wanting to push people towards the future, it was in your 12th house and squaring your Pluto. (Pluto sometimes shuts down things, in this instance, communication). Something had to end, and a Solar eclipse in the 12th house, well coming from underneath bubbling up, and it was not anywhere in the 12th house but at the cusp! Tr Mars was conjunct your Saturn exact (so once more a Saturn activation, already foretold by the lunar eclipse on 00 Aqua-Leo, earlier that year, but well Mars is the activator) Tr Jupiter opposing Mars in 11th house, sextile Jupiter (well no clue, but I think that it means that you were feeling you were not receiving enough love - 11th house as the house of love received, and Jupiter in 5th house filled to the brim with love, but somehow in the opposition it did not reach far enough?) Tr Neptune conjunct Moon in 8th house exact - either you were acting on a very accurate hunch, or you were misleading yourself; well it is difficult with that aspect it is either the absolute deep truth or a grand illusion/ delusion - only time will tell. Also maybe was muting down your emotions quite a bit, making you feel muffled or like you couldn`t quite grasp reality anymore (which is quite difficult having at the same time stark reality just taking over your life in the form of Saturn). The lunar eclipse, just preceding august was on 24 Cancer-Capricorn, and hence it squared your Chiron in 9th house - I do not have to say anything to that, do I? Tr Mercury on your Saturn - so again activated Tr Venus was opposing Tr Saturn in that lunar eclipse exact, so I guess it was really about separations, isolations, figuring out the boundaries of what works in relationships and accepting what does not. Tr Saturn was exact on your Sun, of course and squaring your Jupiter and quinkunx your Mars. Apparently a friendship with a man did not work (the quinkunx to Mars in 11th), or expectations had to be adjusted. Tr Mars on your ASC - giving you a boost in figuring out who you are, who you want to show yourself to the world, a healthy dose of ego-assertion (which was conflicting with that Neptune-Moon of course. ) Tr Uranus once more opposing your 4th house Uranus - bringing about changes to your homelife, not a divorce by law, but probably at least for a time by mindset, and even if not, the family structure changed in the way that you weren`t there anymore all the time. (because of your working hours) Tr Neptune on the same degree as your Moon BTW the transiting NN was conjunct Venus, and the SN on Saturn, on the one hand emphasizing the opposition, but NN on Venus in Cancer seems to say to me that whatever ended or culminated or was illuminated that july, is in a longer range meant to further a honest deep and warm caring approach to relationships, sort of detaching from the boundaries over time and leaving the past baggage in the past, and finding a new caring way of relating. At least that seems to be the general message of this eclipse, but to get there, some ending had to occur before. I am tired now. ACtually I wanted to correct classtests today. LOL

I have three more animals? LOL Among other changes... Actually, you're right, it may have been five animals. I forget when we got the guinea pigs. Anyway, thank you so, SO much for that professional-level analysis. I just skimmed it so far because I think you are sorta delicately operating on my deeper wounds, and I'm just wanting to eat pretzels and be shallow at the moment. I will return and face the music later. In a rush this morning, I messaged you my mother's information, but forgot to specify a recipient...I ran off before I caught the error screen. Sending that now. Thanks again!

Ava I totally understand you. Do you want me to erase it? To be honest even though it is not me, it was for me a bit painful going through this, and especially, in retrospect seeing that pattern emerge. That is so sad. of course it is just in retrospect. It is also a totally different thing to just analyze. but you lived this nightmare, and to some degree you still live it everyday, and I am just so sorry about that. So yes eat pretzels and be shallow! We should be! Actually I will send you a piece of very shallow mail,b ut just wanting to share something that took me by surprise today and made me smile, and no, it doesn`t have anything to do with P. lol

Ava To be honest even though it is not me, it was for me a bit painful going through this, and especially, in retrospect seeing that pattern emerge. That's just because you are such a gifted astrologer. You could sense what was going on psychologically, just by looking at the charts. For that reason, please do leave it up...I think it's a great example of what real astrology should be & look like. there was a Solar eclipse before that on 29 Cancer, which made me listen up instantly. It was a total eclipse. --- This solar eclipse was a strong one, not just because it was total, but also because it was in the sign of Cancer; and also in a general sense it was a SOUTHERN Node Eclipse (SN in Leo near the New Moon), and also on an ending degree. I should have paid attention to that. also it seems that surprisingly often in the death chart (transits) there seems to be Jupiter-transits (esp. if dying after an illness I guess, I could imagine more Uranian aspects if dying through an accident). Oh and quinkunxes Yes...well, by the way, my EVC with that eclipse has a yod, or yods, however you classify this: 28 Sag NN 27 Sag Neptune 27 Libra Saturn 28 Libra Pluto 26 Taurus Mars, apex, in the 12H, conjunct my draconic sun 2 Gem ASC conjunct my natal Ceres-Atropos But the interesting thing is, the draconic EVC: 0 Aries NN obviously 29 Pisces Neptune 29 Capricorn Pluto >> opposing the eclipse (tropical) 27 Capricorn Saturn 25 Leo moon, conjunct my mother's tropical sun 27 Leo Mars, apex, conjunct my draconic Jupiter Now what makes my own stomach turn is the EVC Jupiter: 3 Virgo, draco EVC ASC 6 Virgo, draco EVC Jupiter 7 Virgo, draco EVC Atropos 8 Virgo, draco EVC Chiron Reminds me of that line from a George Michael song: "But teacher, there are things that I don't want to learn."Anyway, sorry for the data deluge but look at how my draco EVC with that eclipse matches my draco composite with my mother (!!!) Using her noon chart: Coincidence? I mean it's basically the same EVC yod that I have with that eclipse, except Mercury takes the place of Neptune. Yet even Neptune is there conjunct the sun. It almost looks like a composite with someone in the afterlife; Mars on her sun btw. And well so far we have an activated 12th house Saturn and an activated 4th house URanus - unbearable tension, reaching to the deepest level of your psyche. True. And my progressed sun at the time of that eclipse was 0.36 Aqua, exactly opposing natal Saturn @ 0.36 Leo (no orb). More to say but leaving it at that for now.

Ava I think this eclipse already foreshadowed several things: - yes, you getting pets. lol Sun in 6th house activation - Also probably getting more deeply into questions about a healthy lifestyle, nutrition, etc. as 6th house themes - being concerned with health-issues, your own or of other people - getting a job! and not just any job, but one in the field of food/ nutrition! --- I know that the decisions were manifesting later that year, but I also think that those decisions and the mindset change was being prepared by this eclipse, working from underneath so to speak. Now it would be of course interesting to see what the most recent eclipses were about when your decisions manifested in the outer world, and probably the lunar eclipse would tell us a lot here, too, and maybe it is important if there is a total eclipse, maybe those really sort of generate MORE compelling potency. That post was all so perfect, thanks again...trying to contain, limit, saturnize the discussion now....this ^^^ is probably my main point. Yes there were changes but not within six months of the eclipses. Seems the more potent eclipses came in the summer: Total SOLAR Eclipse 2019 July 2 15:16:06 10 Cancer 38 Partial LUNAR Eclipse 2019 July 16 17:38:06 24 Capricorn 04 cafeastrology.com/eclipsessolarlunar.htmlMy dog was born on that total eclipse, by the way. So I am "hounded" by it (get the pun?) because she really is a difficult dog, very large and frisky. That eclipse squared my Libra Pluto so it makes sense that there were endings. "even though it probably felt or feels like cutting off a part of yourself " Yep edit Now I just want to turn the focus to you...up next. But thank you again for this reading, it was one of the best I've ever had.

Ugh, I was just writing for 45 minutes and lost the post. Lately when I switch between tabs, I'm prone to losing whatever was in the original tab...like if I'm watching YouTube, pause a video, check another tab, that video doesn't save my spot but restarts from the beginning.
Now I'm seeing even further loss of data this way, not that proboards was ever rock solid. Sigh...well I'm self-conscious about overtalking things, so for brevity's sake, please tell me what was going on in your life, in 1990, that caused all of that excitement?
I checked my natal chart against this recent eclipse @ 4 Cap and determined that it hits my natal chart because Venus is @ 7 Aqua on my DSC, and Juno's @ 16 Libra opp Vertex @ 15 Aries, both squaring my sun. So the first direct hit to that opposition comes on my birthday. Then I looked at my lunar returns for the next six months and determined that my LR in May probably hits that eclipse energy the strongest (IC-Juno @ 6 Libra, true Lilith conjunct Chiron on the MC, Uranus @ 7 Taurus, sun on my draco sun). And this is just before an eclipse on my natal Mars, and another eclipse widely hitting my sun:
Penumbral LUNAR Eclipse 2020 June 5 15:12:15 15 Sagittarius 34 Annular SOLAR Eclipse 2020 June 21 2:41:19 0 Cancer 21 Penumbral LUNAR Eclipse 2020 July 5 0:44:16 13 Capricorn 38
What do these things want from me? Or you?
Posting before I lose this or overtalk aimlessly again. Waiting for your 1990 answer.
Btw I believe my grandmother died possibly on the exact day of the eclipse in February of that year, which squared my nodes exactly. Or maybe it was the day after, I need to look for my notes.

I took my mom's death as an example
When the Solar eclipse happened Uranus RX was conjunct IC @ 14*40' trigon natal Mars @ 13*43' Libra UranusRx was conjunct IC and NMars fell into the 12th house
with my progression chart there was PrPluto sextile PlutoRx 0* @7* PrVenus sextile VenusRx 0* @2* PrSun opposition Jupiter 0* @4* PrSun conjunct AC 0* @4* PrJupiter square Pluto 0* @8* PrNeptune conjunct Pluto 0* @8*
With the new moon before the actual happening there was only tJupiter and tSaturn falling into my 12th house
on the day of the event Transit Sun was @ 12*21' Cancer and Transit Moon was @ 4* Aquarius
Mmmmm. UranusRX conjunct IC is not my favourite aspect. The death of my mother was no surprise btw.

Ava"hat's just because you are such a gifted astrologer. You could sense what was going on psychologically, just by looking at the charts. For that reason, please do leave it up...I think it's a great example of what real astrology should be & look like. " Thank you. "Anyway, sorry for the data deluge but look at how my draco EVC with that eclipse matches my draco composite with my mother (!!!)" Yes, that is really crazy! "rue. And my progressed sun at the time of that eclipse was 0.36 Aqua, exactly opposing natal Saturn @ 0.36 Leo (no orb). " Wow, that is huge!

Ava"Yes there were changes but not within six months of the eclipses. " Even though I find often things happening close to the eclipse, they seem to have a longer life, yes, more than 6 months. Also you saw the MANIFESTATIONS later, but I think the changes were happening before, but in a sense of hard to grasp seed-moment, that needed time to grow into a real plant that we can see in the outer world. (which actually makes sense, after all at the time of a new moon, we are completely in the dark, something news is being born,b ut we cannot see it yet) "Total SOLAR Eclipse 2019 July 2 15:16:06 10 Cancer 38 I also wonder if maybe total eclipses might be more visible in terms of external manifestations? Or maybe it has to do with it being North node eclipses? " c"So I am "hounded" by it (get the pun?) because she really is a difficult dog, very large and frisky. " LOL "That eclipse squared my Libra Pluto so it makes sense that there were endings. " It squared my Pluto, too, albeit not as tightly as yours. Oh and it was exactly conjunct P`s Atropos, and curiously hs and his wife`s composite NN and Mars (and our Draco composite ASC) - It was a total solar eclipse so this should have been big. But then again maybe P and his wife are simply very persistent in not getting affected by any astrology. LOL It was also possibly conjunct his wife`s Moon and definitely square her Sun. It was trine my Jupiter, I kind of like that, - and well except for Atropos and some composite stuff, not that important maybe for P? It was sextile his Mars-Jupiter in Virgo and sextile his Chiron in taurus and trine his Eros and my name in Pisces, but also trine his wife`s name in Scorpio. But it was all just sextile and trine stuff. Though because of that on the midpoint of our both names, her and mine (which is conjunct his ATropos) and also the Mars/Chiron-mp and Jupiter/Chiron-mp falls there, though the Mars/Chiron-mp might have been even more exact to that eclipse, than the Jupiter/Chiron. But well solar eclipses are about New things happening, new energy and such, so I always find it weird if they fall on something like Atropos or Pluto. LOL A new seed planted on an - possibly not yet visible - ending? "But thank you again for this reading, it was one of the best I've ever had." Thank you.

Ava"Ugh, I was just writing for 45 minutes and lost the post." I hate that when that happens, but I noticed the same with the tabs! "so for brevity's sake, please tell me what was going on in your life, in 1990, that caused all of that excitement? " LOL For brevity`s sake - my first real encounter with a musical. And then some more... "I checked my natal chart against this recent eclipse @ 4 Cap and determined that it hits my natal chart because Venus is @ 7 Aqua on my DSC," According to Sophia Mason the other transits (which are not made by the eclipse itself) need to be within 1 degree; at least she observed that if the orb was wider things did not really manifest in that way. But possibly your DESC is there, right? I mean I kinda wish for that cause that sounds nice. so we need to keep watch of may and rest of spring/ summer I guess? Actually I was just brushing up the book on eclipses by Celeste Teal at a random page, and well randomly stared at the title of the "powerful eclipse of 2020". She went on to explain that this one is sort of mirroring the one in june of 2001, when the Solar Eclipse was on 00 Cancer, too. She also said that this eclipse this year is weaker, but honestly? She gave it a no 6 as compared to a power of 7 of the 2001 eclipse, that does NOT calm me at all! And in particular not if I see what the president of the United States is doing and how he is making it worse by the garbage coming out of his mouth, or actually his typing fingers! Even I was going to be tempted to push the red button by this outrageous stuff he is saying. What a peaceloving man that is, as he sais, he doesn`t want any war, and going to assassinate a political leader figure (no matter how bad he might have been) pretty much as a one man world police and THEN warning the other state to not react to that - I mean of course noone can want Iran to react violently, but to have the man responsible for the tightening of this situation have the audicity to threaten the other party to not warn him or criticize him, that is just beyond me! I seriously don`t get it how one man can run amok like that, as the head of the state, as if he was Rambo on a one man mission! Where are the other politicians? Or are they secretly applauding him and relieved that he takes the spotlight and distracts from them? Oh sorry do not want to get all political. I have too little information for an informed opinion anyway. Anyway so it does nto give a calming feeling that this eclipse falls on the exact date as the one 19 years before, of course a nodal circle. Well back then the first pass of Tr Mars over the eclipse degree (but on the other side 00 Cap) happend on 8th september (Celeste Teal gives an orb of 3 degrees for conjunctions and oppositions to an eclipse to be valid though), but still astrology cannot be serious! Tr Mars WAS activating that eclipse then, and obviously all other transits happening (I think we were having a Saturn-PLuto-opposition back then - seriously the mirror effect is bonechilling and paralyzing). HOpefully it will not be that bad this time around, I mean no two eclipses ever manifest the exact same way (I hope?) . But it is very rare to have such a close aligned repetition. In a personal way I had noticed that just before I saw P on a concert in 2008 there was a Solar eclipse on 17 Aquarius exact on my natal Moon - and seeing him on that concert sort of brought up the idea to see that guy on a stage in a real musical which I did 3 months later, and well, we met. lol BTW just days after that concert in februarly there was a lunar Eclipse on his North Node exact. lol (Of course sometimes Solar Eclipses are related to men, or bringing the male principle into ones life, and lunar eclipses to women. It is downright laughable. lol) And last year, when he asked me to have coffee with him, that happened just hours before a total Solar Eclipse on 18 Leo - I thought that was rather remarkable. But hey, 10 or 11 years ago he did not ask me to have coffee with him, and last year he did, so a different manifestation. Let us hope for a different manifestation of the 00 Cancer eclipse this year as well in a global sense. BTW the first pass of Tr Mars will be on 24th april 2021, so almost a year after the eclipse, and it will be conjunct, not opposite the eclipse. So maybe we have enough time to somehow smoothen out this stuff in a global sense to prevent the worst. on that day Saturn will be nowwhere near aspecting Pluto either. However it will be squaring Uranus. though over 2 degree orb (the Saturn-Pluto popposition in 2001 was not totally exact either though), Saturn will be exactly trine NN. It seems there will be a triple conjunction of Mercury (10 Taurus), Venus (11 Taurus), Uranus (10 Taurus), square Saturn (12 Aquarius). The old vs the new, possibly Kids and women in particular fighting against any kind of rigid old order/ authority, though it is interesting that URanus is in conventional Taurus, Saturn in progressive Aquarius, No clue, but just hoping for the best, though it will be probably not an easy time. a lot of serious talking might be in order. Also Taurus reminds me of talking about climate changes, and making changes, too. for real, in a grounded way. But I am not a mundane astrologer. "What do these things want from me? Or you? " Good question. NOw I hae to go and see why the Italian was sending me two emojis with heart shaped eyes. Hmm maybe he saw the story I shared (as part of an instagram challenge), but hey I was woken up with "Angels" today, and remembered him singing it and also P singing it, then the challenge came up from another site (to post the favourite picture from their profile in my story and they would do the same, and I got pulled into that game. lol) and one of the two stories from their profile I picked was a video from the bandnight last july, where the Italian and a colleague were performing "Angels" and so I thought if I get woken up by it and then Angels are crossing my way this way again - I might be destined to post this stuff. lol Yeah pretty sure that is why I earned some heart eyes emojis. lol
