Parans are simultaneous bodily transits of two or more objects over the Horizon or Meridian Circles of a given place at the same time.
Parans are latitude specific. Certain Parans are present at certain latitudes but not present in many others. People that share birthdates won’t have the same parans if they are born at latitudes that are distant from each other.
Because Robert Hand’s hypothesis of parans being connected to diurnal rhythms, I analyze parans in Z-Analogue Diurnal Arc charts. I check the actual rising, culminating, setting, and anticulminating times for the objects. I prefer to take body motion into account when analyzing parans. Therefore, I don’t bother with parans that are derived from Oblique Ascension, Oblique Descension, and Right Ascension.
I chose to look at Mercury Setting parans for my birthdate October 29, 1971 as examples of how parans are latitude specific.
My Mercury Setting is in paran with 4 transneptunian dwarf planet/candidates.
I use 3 degree orb for planet-planet parans.
I use 2 degree orb for planet-dwarf planet/candidate parans.
