To locate midpoints at astro.com, select "Ebertin style (w. midpoints)" for the Chart drawing style, then once the chart comes up, click on "PDF Additional Tables" above the chart. If you haven't worked with midpoints before and have any questions, feel free to ask.

Earlier today I was thinking of how difficult it is for me to feel inspired in my work, if my intuition is not engaged. This is the challenge with a Pisces moon squaring Mars. I feel my way through activities, but often get confused about whether or not it's the right thing to do. I feel this could be less of an issue if I kept myself reminded of it.
My moon/Mars @ 2 Taurus widely squaring Saturn.
I find earthy activities much easier to accomplish than, say, bureaucratic ones. And I find that I can incentivize work by making it more natural, more sensually appealing. For instance I like writing with wooden pencils because they feel warm, don't smudge, can be sharpened with this sharpener that I love, and all the sounds are pleasant to me.
I know everyone is like that to a certain extent, but I feel extra stubbornly hedonistic sometimes, like I can't even move forward unless something beautiful/Venusian is going to come of it.
So I'm just wondering if this has anything to do with my moon/Mars midpoint....
Can you relate? Any thoughts on your moon/Mars?

Hmm, maybe the midpoint is more prominent because you also have an aspect between the two? And broadly speaking, your SN/Draco Sun is in that sign, so there's more of a pull. In Placidus, that midpoint is in your 10th house. So, I'm thinking the Moon-Mars midpoint has to be reckoned with when it comes to 10th house activities? No wonder the tension between those two expresses itself there...
My Moon/Mars midpoint is at 27° Sag. Didn't scan the whole thing, but I doubt it aspects anything in my chart.
Btw, while we're on midpoints, do angles on midpoints count? Astro.com shows those aspects, but I wasn't sure if you guys consider them valid.

No wonder the tension between those two expresses itself there... Thank you, I hadn't thought of that. And I guess what I wrote does sound Taurean in the broad sense. I was thinking of how moon square Mars can create resistance to action ~ "I don't feel like doing that." Or at the opposite end of things, "If I feel like doing that, I'm gonna do it no matter what." (Depends on other chart factors; my sun aspects the moon and Mars, so I tend to go to extremes.) I got married with transiting Venus-Saturn on my moon-Mars midpoint (didn't know astrology, that just happened.) I think it shows what I was bringing on myself (Venus-Saturn synastry) and part of the reason why...there's the moon-Mars "signature" of acting on instinct, somewhat impetuously...and ticking some people off in the meanwhile. My Moon/Mars midpoint is at 27° Sag. Didn't scan the whole thing, but I doubt it aspects anything in my chart. It squares your draconic Uranus in Pisces. (High five, we are both draconic Uranus in Pisces!) Actually yours @ 26 Pisces conjunct my ex's @ 28 Pisces (draconic) and my father and sons' tropical Uranuses in late Pisces, too.... Sorry, already babbling. ~~~ Sandbach, on Uranus aspecting moon/Mars: "Uranus: A sudden, surprising and/or unexpected display or forceful or passionate feeling. A genius for stirring up others emotionally. To suddenly act on inspiration." I dunno, in this case it would be more subtle because it's Pisces (?) and draconic...apples and oranges. But still, maybe something to that? Do you find yourself acting on inspiration, quite a bit? Btw, while we're on midpoints, do angles on midpoints count? Astro.com shows those aspects, but I wasn't sure if you guys consider them valid. Definitely!

(Depends on other chart factors; my sun aspects the moon and Mars, so I tend to go to extremes.) Yes, that is very Moon-Mars.. And totally legit. If you don't feel like doing it, 110%, best not to.. My Moon-Pluto supports your Sun-Pluto extremes. To suddenly act on inspiration." Good eye!! Yes, I (and people who know me) can attest to Sandbach's description. They're usually taken aback at my seemingly random outbursts. 'Coz I seem pretty calm otherwise. But I have moon semi-square Uranus & square Pluto already, so it ties in to the silent domino effect of the semi-square. Dunno how much I stir others up, but I definitely stir myself up.
Inspiration - yes, as sudden and unpredictable and unavoidable as Uranus himself. Too erratic to claim, so I shouldn't be talking about it. Eh, still, good to know the aspects.
Thank you, that was very interesting.

Btw, while we're on midpoints, do angles on midpoints count? Astro.com shows those aspects, but I wasn't sure if you guys consider them valid. Definitely! Great... I seem to have my MC on a lot of midpoints (Sun-Neptune, Sun-Uranus, Sun-NN, Moon-Venus, Moon-Jupiter).. Crazy.
You also sent me down the draco midpoint rabbit hole, thank you very much. So, I'm gonna be looking up those threads now.
Haven't even explored tropical midpoints fully, but hey.. Sag MC don't care.
P.S. I do wonder if we have a thread on just midpoints though, for beginners. Will see...

I love all your writing up there 12YearsABlob . Not quoting you, but thanks for the observations. MC = all those midpoints, that is amazing and IMO very important to understanding your natal chart & you. With five overlapping midpoints, it's a serious concentration of energy. Could you remind me of where your MC is? I think I have the wrong birthtime in my database. Is your MC near my Venus? I think we do not have a beginner midpoint thread. I know glaucus contributed something about overlapping midpoints, but his articles go in-depth and might be considered more advanced. Moon square Mars is said to indicate angsty trouble with the women in one's family. I haven't much to say on that, I think all family members squabble, and where my situation got more serious than that, it was only because of issues outside of my control. I have moon/Mars = Mercury/Saturn exact, conjunct a spattering of dismal afflicted-woman asteroids like Sedna and Ophelia. All this is conjunct my mother's SN-Saturn @ 1 Taurus & sister's NN @ 4 Taurus. Well as a trio we didn't exactly ride triumphant into the sunset, but it's still a sort of nice story, just because all three of us have our own unique gifts and abilities, like anyone. It's curious that all three of us have the Taurus/Scorpio nodal axis. My Libra son's NN @ 2 Taurus. I don't know what that's got to do with what I wrote above, but a few months ago he told me that I have this weird ability to transfer my concentration over to him. Well if my moon, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn are all converging on his NN, sorta forcefully imprinting ideas there, I guess that might be one factor? And his sun/Mercury midpoint is @ 1 Scorpio.

My Moon/Mars-mp actually falls close to some of P`s complementary midpoints. I never know if that is even important, but it just looks nice. lol
my Moon/Mars: 11°08 Cap his Sun/Venus: 11°27 Cap (his Moon/Venus: 12°17 Cap)
oh and my Draco Moon/Mars is on 1 Taurus (opposing my tropical Uranus on 1 Scorpio. interesting)
As for Moon and Mars, for both of us it comes up in the 5th harmonic chart, for me as a conjunction (I have an exact quintile natally), and for him as opposition if I am not mistaken (means he has a decile/ 10th harmonic aspect, but they are both resonating with the 5th harmonic of course)

Ava , That is really strange about all of you having the same nodal axis! Not to mention the conjunctions with your Moon-Mars midpoint. I can totally see how your sister would need a Taurus NN. You both have suns in opposite signs as well and this seems to take that theme further... And yeah, I think my MC's on your Venus. According to my mom, my birth time is [redacted]. This puts my MC at 2°31' Sag.
