I found this online:
"The Draconic sun can tell you who exactly you want to be, and what traits and paths in life you wish you could follow. For example, my Draconic sun is in Cancer, and represents a lot of the emotional vulnerability, trust and security I deeply desire and wish I could apply to my life, but can’t as I’m not completely in touch with this side of my personality – rejecting it in fact, as guided by my natal chart.
The Draconic Moon is who you truly are. (as Draconic is based on the Moon’s True Nodes). You can call it your ‘soul sign.’ You may be a Sun Libra in your daily life, but your soul sign may be in Taurus, representing your soul’s true desire and true driving purpose. A more free spirited person who subconsciously strives for complete security.
The Draconic ascendant differs from the Natal Ascendant in that it represents our ‘intuitive identity’ rather than our ‘outward identity’. The Decan your Draconic Ascendant is in is important, as it can be heavily influenced by the sign next to it. Think of your Draconic ascendant as your ‘soul’s mask’".
This may not be news to some of you, but I thought it was interesting. Going back to the family connections, I checked my sister's draconic chart. It fits with our family theme sort of in terms of venus (ASC 7 Tau), but differently and she does act as though she doesn't want to know us. Her luminaries are at the end of Aquarius. Her natal moon is at the end of Cancer (sextiles my Dr. Moon exact) conj. sun 0 Leo. So I guess it goes somewhat explain her difficulty in relating to us. Well, I mean that is the impression she gives me and my parents and it's not like we don't try to get along and be close, but unfortunately she can exhibit quite a few negative traits of a Leo sun.
Both of us have strong connections via draconics to my parents' natal and draconic charts. In fact my sister's draconic stuff is more closely tied to my parents draconics than I am.
My sisters' Draconic moon opposes mum's Dr. Uranus (mums Dr. 7H ruler and it sits in her 1st house) and trines my Dad's Dr. Sun-Venus in Libra.
My Dr. Moon sextiles mum's Dr. Jupiter, her Dr. 5H ruler, but that's it. We all have a few things at 29* too curiously.
I wonder if its to do with the connections in the draconics...
Also, I have just realised I have other weird Jupiter connections between my natal and draconic- Dr. CR conjunct natal Sun and natal Jupiter is conjunct my Dr. ASC ....!!! In my natal, Jupiter is the ruler of my 6th house too..(virgo theme). In draconics, my moon is the ruler of the 9th house! My IC is in Virgo too, with chiron conjunct. I wonder if these connections, particularly the Dr. Moon, and themes are what propelled me to enter the health service as a career? My natal MC is Pisces, so again there is the Jupiter influence.
Sorry it's gone off topic...I wonder if it's worth looking at where the draconic moon rules in both charts? (vg gave me this idea haha)
