I am curious about those aspects, I have now stumbled twice across a progressed composite Venus-Mars-trine at very significant times in their relationships (in both cases this became exact about 2 months after their last child was being born).
I also stumbled across a pr composite Venus (conjunct pr c mercury) squaring natal composite Mars, probably around the time the two people started to earnestly think about having a child, at least they moved in together for real in the applying phase. It was a bit more bumpy guess.
Actually I am curious about any Venus progressions becoming exact in the composites, and how or if they might relate to important phases in the relationships, and at the moment I am most focused on the progressed composite itself, but it might be valid from progressed to natal composite of course, too.
Did you experience something like this?
Oh I forgot, my parents had the progressed composite square between Venus and Mars (and pr c Mars had come to conjunct my Dad`s natal Mars-SN and my Mom`s Saturn), it was after the death of my grandmother, and despite the grief, it was also a release somehow, and if I recall it right they were taking a longer vacation after that (actually my parents are going on trips whenever they manage to. lol they just love travelling together).

Wow, great observation.
Me and my husband had Venus/Mars sextile when our son was born (<0.5). I am pregnant again and we will have this aspect again on the due date, but even tighter.
As for the progressed Venus, my degrees for the day I'm due:
Pr Leo Venus 23 Pr Leo Mars 24 Natal Leo Sun 22
My husband's progressions for the day I'm due:
Pr Cap Venus 20 Natal Cancer Moon 19
When our son was born, my husbands Progressed Venus was Cap16.
One interesting thing I've noticed during the birth of our son:
My husbands Pr Sag Sun 0 My own Natal Sag Moon 0

midnight that is so interesting! BTW that sextile was it in the progressed composite? And why having it again? Because of retogradation? Or change of direction? So pr Venus applying to conjunct pr Mars just after the Venus-Sun-progression, I suspect it is your natal one? That is just so awesome for a happy birth! And of course Venus-Moon is the complimentary progression. Any ou had a Sun-Moon-conjunction, there are just so many signs of significant interconnection, wow!

I don't know how to do this. I'm curious about a composite of my own, but I don't want to really know the person again.

Congratulations midnight ! Adding my data Husband & I have comp square, these were trine in the progressed composite when we got married (pr comp Venus @ 0 Sag) and this was in effect when all our children were born. Exact @ 4 Leo Mars/ 4 Sag Venus when second child was born, separating @ almost 6° with our youngest.

I don't know how to do this. I'm curious about a composite of my own, but I don't want to really know the person again. The progressed composite option is below the regular composite option @ astro.com, if you scroll down. Then just add the date you prefer in the "Start date" field.

lumina We have a lot of nice Natal/Comosite connections actually, like CompVenus=HisNatalSun/Pluto/Mercury/MC/POF/Jupiter, for example Yes, both sextiles are in our Progressed Composite. Sorry I wasn't very clear. I' in the middle of writing report and decided to take a break Yes, my own Natal Venus is Retrograde and is back 15 degrees at the moment. Progressed Venus along with my Progressed Mars both conjunct my Natal Sun. Also, I didn't mention it, since you showed interest in a Pr Venus mostly, but our Pr Composite Mars is conjunct my own Natal Venus and Asc. Pr Comp Mars 7 Natal Venus 6 Natal Asc 7 EDIT: Thank you, we are very happy and excited to meet our little one.

Ava wow, there really is something about that progressed trine! Yes, I saw it with my best friend and her husband, too, and they welcomed their fifth child on 29th june last year. I do not think it will always relate to having children, though I find it interesting how often procreation seems to play a role. lol In fact P and me are going to have that in 2 -3 years or so I think. Not such a long lasting progression as he shared with his wife, but it just amazed me that the same thing came up. (well with their progresse composite trine, pr c Mars was opposing his natal Venus with 2°21; with ours pr c Venus is going to oppose his natal Mars with an orb of 0°37. Just thought that was hilarious; though in our case I think kids are definitely out of the question. lol) I like how yours is on the 00 degree of the signs. midnight oh yes, congratulations from me, too.

midnight yes, composite to natal is really no joke! I`ve been reading about that in the book by Liz Greene too, she sais that if something in the progressed composite conjucnts/ opposes our natal planet exactly, we tend to act out the composite planet mostly. Interesingly I read that in another article too. I still think that it is more than that, the whole experience affecting us on a deep level of course, but yeah I can see it. During the time P`s pr Moon was opposing our c-Neptune, he was literally overseas! In the Southern sea and there was basically no communication, or whatever was there, was vague and weird and I don´t know. lol And then his Moon moved on his pr Moon was opposing our composite Mercury (trine our pr composite Mercury and my natal Moon at the same time), and that was happening at the end of april/ start of may, when we saw each other 3 times in 2 weeks or so, and there was definitely quite some communication. BTW this is the article I stumbled over today theastronymph.tumblr.com/post/149284487623/little-truths-of-the-composite-chart

Sounds fun but I know from experience the reality can be otherwise..... edit

Ava well the trine is not operating alone, and isn`t your natal Venus having hard aspects to his SAturn or something? Do I misremember that? so of course his natal planet would have been triggered, I think this definitely needs to be taken into account, especially the exact or tight strong aspects to the natal. and of course to other progressed aspects on the same degree. Also it seems that the separating phase of progressions is weaker than the applying one, especially after it separates by more than 30 minutes from exactness, and even after about 15 minutes separating it starts to feel weaker and weaker, like a fading of endorphines or something I guess. In fact the 15 minutes before and after is probably the real "birthphase/ peakphase". Well Bernadette Brady uses 12 minutes for the peak-phase, applying - separating, but I prefer 15 minutes. lol Its not that the progressions aren`t valid before, they are, but on a sliding scale, and this is the most intense phase. She compares it actually to having a child. When the progression comes into the 1 degree orb applying, it is the beginning of a pregnancy and progressing, until the child is being born, which happens int hat peak phase (no matter if we say it is 12 or 15 minutes. In actual terms, if we are talking about a Sun-progression, that would relate to 3 months before exactness and 3 months after exactness. for outer planets we actually would have to use different orbs, as they are just very slow changing. even an orb of 5 minutes with them can relate to a time of several years or even a decade). And well when the progression fades away, that is the phase when you come home with the baby and after the first amazement start the new life with baby and doing the necessary adjustments, or in terms of progressions meaning that whatever new as being created or born will be incorporated in everyday life then, the rush of excitement may wane, too, and in good progressions make place for a certain feeling of contentment, or in some cases when the rush was really high, might actually be experienced as a serious let-down (though possibly mostly after the 15-30 minutes separating phase). With harsh progressions this might be the breath-of-relief and stunned realization: I survived/ escaped. feeling. But of course any progression can also be triggered by strong transitaspects or eclipses or lunations before or after that still.

True lumina, my Venus is conjunct my husband's Saturn, so pr comp Venus was applying to his Saturn... In this time frame we had a yod in pr comp, too: 3 Libra Saturn 3 Sag sun 3 Taurus moon And pr comp Mars applying to conjunction with his sun, and maybe my ASC. My pr moon was in Pisces. Whole other topic, I don't know why it is that my Venus is basically unafflicted, yet I think I've dealt with more hardship in romance than normal people. I've never been cheated on, not that I know of...maybe I'm just too oblivious to detect it. But too many other weird situations. I was flipping through the pages of my past last night and raising my eyebrows. Maybe it's the Venus-Pluto square Mars in my helio chart. My Navamsa chart is also impressively bad. Natal Juno opposing moon isn't spelling marital bliss either. But things are okay at the moment.

Ava Yod`s with Saturn sound like a bit heavy, really. Moon on the Sun/Saturn-mp, in the best case scenario committed and devoted, but also oftentimes making one feel depressed, like there is this heavy load, pushing you down, and making you isolated. pr comp Mars is pretty slow moving, so definitely needs to be in much closer aspect than one degree or being activated by quicker movers. As for your Venus, well it is not really that unafflicted. It has a conjunction to Neptune, while this is not really an affliction, it is prone to make people too idealistic when it comes to relationships and romance and love. Anything that is less colourful than a fairytale-romance, is oftentimes not enough and leads - at least - periodically to feelings of discontent and meaninglessness. Feeling happy with everyday life is the real challenge for any Neptunian. However Venus is also not really responsible for marriage, she is more about the romance, courtshipphase, attraction, also how to harmonize with another - of course all of these things are important in a marriage and might lead there, but I think for actual happiness/ contentment in a marriage/ partnership after the courtshiphase you really need to look at the Moon (and actually Saturn), of course best mixed with Venus. In our western world we expect the romance to be a factor of married life, too, so there is Venus, but not on her own. I mean Venus (mythologically) is best known for her affairs and marital infidelity and love of change. lol

occasionally your husband`s SAturn might feel like a gush of cold water to your romantic Venus, especially because it is desribed by Jupiter and Neptune in your chart, which has a lot of more dreams and wishes than any Saturnian could even grasp.
On good days this Saturn might also give stability and security, but on bad days could crush some dreams or at least forcing them into a corset of what is appropriate or right or realistic.
that might have felt more acutely becaus of the pr composite Venus falling onto your Venus and his Saturn and bringing out that aspect more (and possibly he was sort of refusing or suppressing or restricting the Venus-factor.)
On the other hand if pr c- Mars also applied to his Sun, you must share a Sun-Venus-trine in synastry, and maybe that is the reason why you found a solution or some sort of agreement.

Ava but maybe it was (the astrological sign of) what made the reconnection possible. The energy was there, the opening, and sometimes in astrology we see the tangible results only a bit later. Like for example we might see a marriage or divorce taking place, but the decision that paved the way and was the first step, the initial spark, happened a lot sooner, and the actual marriage/ divorced is only the public display of something that has on a more internal level already happened. Just like sometimes in astrology we do not see the challenging pictures when a divorce takes place, but some time before (sometimes even months/ years), when the relationship crosses the "breaking point", but oftentimes it gets verbalized or visible only later. And then at other times we seem to see the results right away, not a clue how to predict that though. BTW when you reconnected had one or both planets already progressed to 00° if their respective signs?

I agree lumina . Well pr comp charts are fascinating to me, it's like being able to view the whole panorama of a relationship, going backwards and forwards through time. Sure, it's partly just speculative and anyone's guess how it will play out, if at all. But of course I assume the charts can give clues and highlight significant times. edit

Ava yes it is fascinating, the patterns that emerge. Also even though I wouldn`t sure be confident enough to predict, I do remember that last year the paranoia period I was in in relation to P ended EXACT on the day pr c Moon was leaving the 1 degree mark of squaring pr c Chiron. TO the day. Crazy. That day this actress was asking me to organize that charity-donation thing for his fanmeeting, so I had to message him, and that started a great phase. lol Also how just during that phase we had pr c-Moon on c-DESC. though it was not exact anymore when we had coffee actually. PR c Moon had just gone outside the 1 degree separating aspect. But in this case, well, Tr Uranus was square this pr c Moon by 12 minutes, and my own pr Uranus was squaring it from the other side by 5 minutes. So there was that. lol BTW I could have sworn that the 00 degree mark was crossed in your case. but with just one minute, that is such a clear statement to me, and not coincidental. It is not (only) about wrapping up something, but about a new way evolving from the past.

I keep forgetting about that sort of thing, I rarely do charts now. I had one night when I emailed a vent to someone who hurt me, years ago. I'd had him blocked for years, and guess I unblocked him at some point. He emailed me last Saturday. I didn't open it, because all I remember is pain. Just wondering if the Sun/Venus/Mercury had progressed to the Mars at the beginning of Taurus in the chart, which is conjunct my descendant and transiting Uranus, as well as his Sun. I had no reaction to seeing his name in my email folder. Just, "oh".

Hi lumina , "But in this case, well, Tr Uranus was square this pr c Moon by 12 minutes, and my own pr Uranus was squaring it from the other side by 5 minutes. So there was that. lol" Nice Yeah we must have some super tight orbs with major events, or why are we even in this business anyway? " It is not (only) about wrapping up something, but about a new way evolving from the past." Yes edit
