So, I've been listening to the astrology podcast today. They were taking about the Master of the Nativity and Helanistic astrology. It seems that the ruler of the ascendant is the chart ruler only in the case of both luminaries being found in cadent houses. If I followed the discussion correctly, my predominator is the moon, and as it's in leo, that makes my chart ruler my sun. So, take that, Pluto!
I found a further reference suggesting that the ruler of the lot (part) of Fortune should be able to communicate with either the asc or the master of the Nativity... (Or maybe it's the Lord of the Nativity, I'm still trying to follow...). Anyway, Jupiter is 38° preceding my sun. 37.5 is 1/2 75° or 1/4 150°, which leads to the topic.
What is 75° angle like? What is 1/2 of it like, or 1/4 of an inconjunct?
Can my Jupiter "talk" to my sun?

Never heard of a 1/4 inconjunct. the 75° aspect is part of the 24th harmonic, as is the quindecile. It is called a Bilin (in transpersonal astrology in Germany) and related to passion, obsession, fixation to the point of getting possibly selfdestructive.
I think I have a Bilin between my sun and Jupiter, too. just with Sun preceding Jupiter. Theoretically speaking it could mean having an inclination to overindulge in whatever Sun or Jupiter represents.
But then again I am not even sure it is a real aspect.
