Intriguing!
I have Lucifer in the 12th in Pisces trine Venus. Which leaves many interpretations open.
ps. @blindlion, could you please add the number for Lucifer, 1930, in the subject.

I had to check this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LuciferSo much there I didn't know. @blindlion Just a thought, maybe the idea of "deserving" is irrelevant...the sun's emanations are what people enjoy, though we're all distant from the sun and can't know the actual sun (can't touch it, can only assess from a distance). We can bask in that sunlight or get burned, but usually the discretion is ours. And then, using the same metaphor, the sun doesn't own its own rays and cannot know what they are doing exactly, far away on the other planets. They have a power the sun might not imagine (life itself, something that's not happening on the sun.) ... I have Lucifer @ 28° Cancer exactly conjunct my draconic moon; also conjunct 0° Leo Saturn. My Saturn is in mutual reception with my sun so it's triple-lit with Lucifer, moonlight, sunlight. In my case, there is a bit of literal translation: my grandmother on my father's side lived in a house that's now owned by the Freemasons, allegedly Luciferians. Because it's a historic building, my family's name appears in the same news articles about the place. Furthermore my grandmother's draconic sun @ 1 Leo is widely conjunct my Lucifer, and her draconic moon in Cancer could be conjunct those as well. Curiously my draconic Lucifer (8 Sag) is conjunct my natal Venus which also seems to be a magnet for Saturn in synastry (with my husband, other relatives and people I encounter). Saturn = Satan, too 'Might point to old, strict, religious notions that pleasure is somehow bad and everyone ought to feel reasonably guilty just to keep themselves in line...funny that my husband's draconic Lucifer is right on my DSC and we had such a religious wedding. My ex's draco Lucifer opposes my Saturn, seems I am drawn to this pattern. I have Urania (astrology asteroid) conjunct Saturn and that ties in with my Light (Lucifer) of belief that everyone is born with their share of challenges mapped out for them, so that's one way I try and get beyond my past conditioning and gain awareness. I do think there's a message for me in all of this that I haven't quite grasped. Pls don't quote

I think I remember Jeff Greene being big on Lucifer. Of course Lucifer is more commonly referred to an "evil influence", though in relation to the mythology, I`d more relate it to an unwillingness to respect any other`s will higher than one own (some form of arrogance or let`s say lack of humility). And then of course there is that light-bringer thing; I have no real clue what it really represents in astrology, it depends a little how the asteroids derive their meaning in general. If they are mainly influenced by the mythology behind it, then it would be more about the "fallen angel" thing, even though factually there is the association with light, but even the association with Venus (who in ancient times was not that toothless lovey dovey goddess at all, but actually was usually seen as the goddess of "love and war", those two were considered inseparable, and there was a clear association with death as well, though this has gotten lost through the romanization, if that is a word even. Well personally for me the asteroid would mainly represent areas where we do not listen to anyone else, sometimes to our detriment, sometimes with good reason. where we basically have a falling out with society or society-rules, where we "fall from grace", in the search to let our own light shine and actually make our own light a priority compared to anybody else`s. There is light and shadow with that one. It might bestow a lot of charisma in certain aspects, but charisma can be used for good or bad. Interesting how its number is the same as the year PLuto was discovered (and the Nazi party rose to prominence in Germany). I had not seen that link before, but seems that the author has a similiar view on Lucifer than I have www.leahwhitehorse.com/2013/02/03/asteroid-lucifer/To put it short, I do not think Lucifer is about evil or good at all, it is about where we are emphasizing our SELF, which can mean being uncompromising in our own truth or it can mean excessive pride. And possibly it is also where we "shine" in the sense that we cannot or will not hide that part of ourselves, so others will see it, and they will respond to it, maybe even in irrational exaggerrated ways (seeing us as "misunderstood creature" or "the devil incarnate" or the "bringer of light"). For me personally I have Lucifer on 6 Taurus in my 5th house, conjunct asteroid ACTOR, Part of Marriage and Eros/Psyche-mp and in partile trine to Venus on 6 Cap and asteroid Lilith on 6 Virgo (conjunct Hekate on 8 Virgo and the Vedic stormgod Rudra on 6 Virgo as well). Seriously you don`t want to mess with my value-system! lol
