I found this great link! junojuno2.tripod.com/tnps.htmIt's about time I learn about these. Do you use them, do you believe in them, what do you think? Keywords:
CUPIDO The community, social groupings, family, belonging
HADES Decomposition, defect, disintegration, analysis to the core components
ZEUS Directed energy, targets and goals, ambition, creation
KRONOS Authority, mastery, ability, perfection, the professional
APOLLON Expansiveness, science, trade, commerce, success
ADMETUS Condensation, focus, compression, termination, obstruction
VULCANUS Great amounts of sustained force, great strength, intense power
POSEIDON Spiritual enlightenment, illumination, propaganda, truth
Longer descriptions available at link. Very easy to view TNPs at astro.com: Click "List of other horoscope factors and 'hypothetical' planets" under the field where you list asteroids. Check "hh all of them together." Or if you prefer to view them individually: h40 Cupido h41 Hades h42 Zeus h43 Kronos h44 Apollon h45 Admetos h46 Vulkanus h47 Poseidon

My own placements, for my own record h40 Cupido: 1.07 Scorpio h41 Hades: 23.30 Taurus, Rx h42 Zeus: 16.01 Virgo, Rx h43 Kronos: 10.41 Gemini, Rx h44 Apollon: 6.20 Libra, Rx h45 Admetos: 5.00 Taurus, Rx h46 Vulkanus: 7.10 Cancer, Rx h47 Poseidon: 23.00 Libra I wonder why most of them are retrograde. 🙃 Some immediate thoughts: 1) Poseidon on my sun-Saturn midpoint, conjunct my father's, sister's, and daughter's Marses, near my rectified IC. Opposing my Chiron. Interesting because of Poseidon's associations with Pisces, and the fact that I have a strong Saturn-Neptune theme in my chart. 2) Admetos square my rectified Mercury, exact. If Admetos is "condensation, focus, compression, termination, obstruction"...I suppose my mind works against that? Friction where I am either concentrating too hard or not enough. 3) Zeus! Gad zooks! I have Mars-Giza both Rx @ 16.01 Gemini, and Jupiter @ 16.01 Aries. Zeus is "directed energy, targets and goals, ambition, creation".....It kind of makes sense to me. My Mars and Jupiter sort of work against my ability to direct energy well. I've always thought, if I could be more Virgo, I would solve so many of my problems. Need to feed my inner Zeus with more practical achievements.

I have my theoretical issues with them, mostly because they are hypothetical, meaning their existence has not been proven. It`s more or less an assumption that at that point something must be there, and then they did an ephemeris on these points/ hypothetical planets, and I just wonder how can you do an ephemeris on something that you can`t even see or observe? I mean you can, but I could, too, and it would be pure fantasy.
Having said that, they do seem to work, as some astrologers swear on them, so I do not totally dismiss them, on the other hand most astrologers cannt even really analyse the objects that do exist, so putting them there might clutter things.
HOwever yes now and then I check them. BTW they are extremely slow moving. I think Cupido is the fastest of those (according to the intuited ephemeris), but the others are really really slow.

I think that's why it's taken me so long to even consider them. Consider what? They don't exist. I see it explained briefly in my link in the OP: The idea was that these planets could be positioned by looking at solar arc directions on a person's natal chart and comparing the directions to events in that person's life. The upshot was that in looking at these solar arcs, certain forces turned up missing. For example , when a person got married at age 22, there should be a planet about 22 degrees from the midheaven, or 22 degrees from the moon. This planet always turned up missing, and yet when this missing point was compared in horoscope charts of persons about the same age, it was in the same spot in the zodiac. Alfred Witte, the founder of Uranian Astrology, (which he called "The Hamburg Method") used this technique, in fact he invented this technique, to discover the planet Cupido, the planet of Marriage. In this same way other astrologers discovered PAN or PANDORRA, the force that opens the can of worms, opens Pandorra's box, or lets the cat out of the bag. ----
For what it's worth, I did have my first date with my husband when the sun was transiting conjunct my Cupido.

ROFL
of course, P has Hades on 4 Cancer opposite Juno on 5 Cap and Cupido conjunct Moon exact in his current lunar Return.
And no I don`t think that`s very likely. So he is the controlgroup that blasts the hypothesis apart I guess.
EDIT
and then another time in july and august (due to Juno`s retrogradation)

actually in may 2012 he had Juno quinkunx Hades exact in his Lunar Return, and it must have been around that time, he broke up with his longterm girlfriend.
in december that year there was the opposition again, but with Juno conjunct Moon exact. yes he fell directly into another relationship.
EDIT I remember that december... it`s a bit of a sore spot in my past.

I'm too lazy to edit the quote with my phone, but in my amateur way this is also how I see them. They're interesting to look at, though. My oldest son has Hades doing something in his chart (I forget what), and his favorite pastime has always been taking things apart, rebuilding them, building intricate inventions, and then moving the parts around to make other things. Sometimes this is awesome, and sometimes we've ended up with furniture "deconstructed".
