When your going through this aspect, after it hits your Uranus for the last time....is that when things start turning around and you feel normal again? A friend of mine has been going through it for awhile but it finally is moving past his Uranus for good...will he start to stabilize or is this going to continue for awhile as he picks up the pieces of his life? I guess my question is when will he start feeling good again?

Ugh. My husband had this placement around the time we sold our nice little house (which you sort of witnessed), and we moved around the country for a year. I had a bunch of crazy transits happening with the Uranus/Pluto square hitting my Saturn and Pluto (and Saturn hitting them simultaneously), so I just went with the transits. My guy has Uranus conjunct IC/square Moon, with an Aquarius Mars, so I'm not sure if/when he'll ever feel content with a routine or "normal" life (and I'm a bit similar). But I think it pretty much mellowed out gradually as soon as the last hit was over. We're reasonably settled again now. But for a while, whoa...his hairbrained schemes (which I unceremoniously rejected)...they were just out there. I just dealt with it the best I could, understood it would pass, and understood that my own transits were indicative of disruption and upheaval, so that was that.

It's so hard, I think he's having a mid life crisis. He's falling apart. His life is completely blowing up, just looking for some relief for him. Did your husband seem to completely change, fall apart during the last transit over his Uranus/tr.Utanus opposition?

Well, with his Uranus/MC square his Moon already, it mostly brought to a head his internal conflict with really enjoying the money he makes while despising corporate life. He couldn't take his line of work anymore, so we decided to sell our house and move to the Midwest, where we could buy a house outright with the money we had made from selling our house. It wasn't exactly what I wanted to do, but we both were sick of mortgage payments and the rapid population increase in our small mountain town outside of the city.
So there was sort of a method to his madness, so to speak...but he definitely kind of fell apart at the seams with wanting to follow old dreams that were really just that. Pipe dreams. We had some pretty major disputes over some of that, but he came to a reasonable state, and after a lot of traveling we bought our house (the one with bats 🙄).
After that he pretty much came back to his senses, I think he just needed to break free during that time, and we thankfully had the means to help him do that.

But no, he didn't totally change, he just became more adamant about things that have always felt unfulfilling and restrictive for him.

Did he seem to return to usual self after that or are the changes he made permanent? Did he go back to his job n feel better or did he need to find a new job? He went back to his old line of work, and is back to his normal self (for whatever "normal" would indicate for either one of us, heh). Not his old job, but a similar job with the same type of company. We had our baby with the reasonable insurance he has with this job, bought a home here, and we're fairly settled. Transits aren't helping with that at the moment (Uranus again), but these transits won't last forever, and he's not having a meltdown about his work or anything. He likes where we live, enjoys living close to my family where we can drive five minutes and be at my mom's, my aunt's, or my uncles, and we can have a large garden, etc. He seems pretty content in general...as content as someone with his placements can be, I suppose.
