My family has been grumpier than usual today. Jupiter at a critical degree, aspecting the nodes-square-Uranus energy. I was really pummeled with the news of the California shooting. Some challenging midpoints now: Tr Mercury = Uranus/Pluto mp Tr Saturn = tr Venus/Neptune mp = tr sun/Mars mp Tr Node = Uranus = Mars/Saturn mp For me, transiting Venus/Pluto mp @ 7 Sag on my natal Venus, not the happiest feeling ever. |

I feel like everyone has been SUPER on edge with the millions of energetic changes this week, as well as some mass shootings/the midterm elections in the US.
Kinda looking forward to this transit as Jupiter won't be in opposition to anything in my chart. Ever since Jupiter has been in Cancer since 2014, I've experienced nothing but major Jupiter oppositions. Strange times, I'll say that much.

jupiter is where if you dont push your luck, you will never be lucky.
Jupiter rewards you if you try. If you dont then just carry on.
Just because jupiter passes by a house doesnt mean you are lucky, it just means the opportunities are there, take it, push through or leave it.
I don't tend to see the results of jupiter until it moves to the next sign. I finally see how jupiter has helped me deepen my connection to others in the past year (Scorp in 7th) but I only finally see it now. Not the moment it just entered Scorp.

My jupiter return is coming up in a few weeks, transiting in my 2nd house. I dont normally buy scratch cards but i did a few days ago and won 40 euros lol.
Scorpio is my 2nd house cusp but it is most sagitarius and it goes into my 3rd house.It has been opposing my chiron and my composite chiron with my bf. I find jupiter transits can hurt as well. In a couple weeks it will hit my natal uranus/jupiter conjunction-the day im due at work.
I would say i have been lucky with money in that many times it has come when i really need it. But at the same time I have been unlucky(or perhaps careless at times too), because as soon as I get some kind of "windfall" I have had to spend it on something. I hope saturn recently leaving my 2nd will have put some stability there. So Jupiter can be very good to me or amplify my pains. Because of the squares and oppositions i generally go through some pain first before i see the benefit squar to venus/mars, opp to chiron then the conjunct to uranus/jupiter within a couple of weeks. I get some nice aspects later on.

Transiting Jupiter trine my Saturn Transiting draconic Jupiter conjunct my Saturn Transiting NN conjunct my Saturn *Triple emphasis on my Saturn* I have 12H Leo Saturn on the midpoint of my Pisces moon and Neptune Throw Jupiter into that mix and it's expanding the issue of materializing dreams (how exactly am I achieving that?) for the sake of self-reliance, self-fortification. Well I'm tempted to just go out and buy several New Age books: 1) A Course in Miracles 2) Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza 3) The Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic The real "magic" would be if I could quit my computer addiction and spend more time actually reading from my library. lol I think the more practical thing to do with my time is space clearing, designing my living room more intentionally. My Saturn is really about emptiness (see all that Neptune stuff above). Transiting Mercury is conjunct my draconic Saturn and tropical Neptune at the moment, so I'm mindful of how sometimes the most profound and concrete things really aren't things but truths, habits, principles, talents, connections. Just the storehouse of the mind and spirit, a treasure trove that's on-the-go. So anyway with that in mind, I'm just thinking of how to align my actual structure here with my goals. Which circles back to Jupiter. Laying the groundwork for expansion. |

Sometimes people push in the wrong direction and expand things that roll over backwards and crush them later. White elephants. Sometimes serendipity and circumstance are out of our control. I was telling lumina that Jupiter entering Sag has been historically bad for me. 1st time - moved to a new house and school, considered that worse than where I was previously 2nd time - unspeakably awful 3rd time - this was the month before my father died Yeah I guess there is always some good with the bad but my track record with Jupiter in 1st decan Sag is not inspiring. Possible astro reasons: My Saturn/Pluto midpoint squares my 6 Sag Venus, sorta cursing that whole area My draconic Saturn is @ 10 Sag, sorta cursing that area, too My sun/Uranus midpoint is in that vicinity, like a mousetrap set to catch all manner of surprises, good and bad Okay, yeah, I'll go move furniture now, as I was saying above. Ava you are talking about a chart specifically. Im speaking in general terms. When jupiter is in a sign, you're luckier if you can express the best qualities of that sign. If you have jupiter being a part of a t square (since you are a gem mars, pisces moon), then you are being asked to activate that t-square and exemplify the best qualities of your Pisces moon to resolve it. Jupiter hard aspects are about not biting more than you can chew and finding a tender balance of caution and bravery. My jupiter return was just another year despite jupiter was a part of my grand earth trine. Because I didn't exemplify the best qualities of my jupiter in virgo. When pluto grates through my venus the second time, saturn was in sag in my 8th, I was asked again, second time, and not so nicely, to buckle up, get down to the details and grind. And that was when I was able to push through. So I myself didnt do what I was supposed to do until saturn came down on me. So I am not asking others to automatically do it, but astrology is about awareness of your own energy and that of the universe. If it hits you badly the last few times, what should you do differently?

Ava I think what @theunknown wanted to point out (at least that is how I read it and agreed with it), that people do not get suddenly lucky, just because Jupiter is doing anything. We are still responsible for our own happiness, at least to a degree, there are limits for everything even responsibility of course, which in this instance means if chances are presenting themselves to us (which can very well happen with a lucky Jupiter-transit), it is still up to us to take them. Fate might be dealing us our cards, but it is up to us to pick them up and play them (right). an addendum: Jupiter is going to square Neptune some times over the course of the next months, well I have the square natally, but in my chart Jupiter and Neptune at least talk to each other (mutual reception), this time around each will be in their domicile, so disposing themselves. I guess there might be an exaggeration of anything possibly, things might just get blown out of proportion, with those two planets who have no real concept of boundaries/ limitations to begin with, and lest in a square with each other. Usually it means that things might seem much too good to be true, which in this instance might be an indicator that they really aren`t all that good, realistically speaking, but that is just the challenge in there, realism. Well I think at least at some point Saturn is going to sextile Neptune, maybe that will help with that. And on the flip side, you have got to have a dream to have a dream come true, right? Oh and btw, I Love your post about your Saturn-emphasis, it is so structured, grounded, profound, clear and in a way "pure/ essential", it is so totally different than my mind is operating at the moment, just already up into Lala-land, and floating from one thought to the other. Well Tr Mercury is conjunct my Neptune, can that be? see? Not even that I know! And as I told you in a message, I messed iup some dates yesterday, and I just don`t do that. I do not mess up dates. But I am doing so now, and actually last week I was forgetting a conference. In all my 14 years of being a teacher I never just FORGOT a conference. I mean it was not that bad, and some colleagues of mine seem to never even intend attending there in the first place, but just I never have been forgetting such a thing. But honestly speaking I think it was just not that important enough to me now and I am not scared enough of the "authorities" at the moment or consequences. lol Which is so weird, as I am a natural worrier about EVERYTHING. And I just can`t bring myself to snap out of that "everything`s going to be alright" feeling, despite so much crap happening left and right from me and in front of my nose even. That is just weird. but would be fitting for some Neptunian activation, possibly by Jupiter. lol or Neptune activating a personal planet.

Sorry to hear you've never really enjoyed Jupiter in Sag, Ava . I hope this time around is better for you! It is already in a sextile to my Ascendant. I do feel more faithful about how the Universe is operating than before, more capable of manifesting what I need to manifest and all of that (which is also a part of my Saturn Return). Jupiter is still in my 10th and will remain there for some months. Jupiter's conjunction to my Scorpio Midheaven gave me the push I need to move out of the stagnancy I have been feeling in my professional life. I didn't exactly take the leaps I wanted to take when it was conjunct. But, with Jupiter still being in my 10th, and the Sun and Venus due to cross my Midheaven within the next month, I feel like I am now prepared to go for it and create more opportunities for myself. |

Yeah, the shooting was horrific - and the fires in California, too. Some of the people who died in the shooting, were survivors of the concert shooting, over a year ago. I'm also now having nightmares over a dog I think I want to adopt. My brain needs to stop. I've just started taking black seed oil. Supposedly good for your skin, hair, mood, joints, and so on. My mood hasn't improved yet, I need tea. I feel beaten down. I miss being the type of person who used to be thinking about Christmas in October - the kind of person who has me wanting to run away now. And sometimes, in regards to making your own luck: you can try, and still have other people destroy anything good, so whatever. No disrespect, unknown I used to be so positive, and working on different things. Respectful, etc. I read something about Saturn sh*tting on you if you don't pull yourself together - why not do it to the people who work so hard to break you instead? Saturn can eff off. |

You know, I've wondered the same. What is karma, really, who knows? But sometimes I can't help feeling vengeful. End up wishing they'd get a taste of their own medicine.
But what'd really make me happy is probably the ability to get over it and not care as much. They live their lives and I live mine, unaffected by all that crap. Ha, fat chance, eh?
