In numerology there are two different systems commonly used - Pythagorean and Chaldean.
Both systems are valid and I will start with the Chaldean system, which began ~4000BCE and started with 22 letters. Each letter has a unique sound-syllables and they were assigned to the number. Around ~3000BCE they added 4 more letters to the numbers.
You will not find the #9 in the Chaldean system as it is to be said the sacred number.

#9 - Possible definition: Nine has been and in some cases still is considered thrice sacred, represents perfection, balance, order -- in effect, the supreme superlative.Personally I like the connection to the ninefold symbolism and Odin.

Pythagoras created the new system ~500 BCE with 22 letters. As time passes this system had 26 letters as well. In the Pythagorean system there is a numerological order to the letter starting with 1 to 9.

Personally I do see the Pythagorean system a good approach to see the surface of people and the Chaldean system is good to dig a little deeper into your soul.
Personally I like to work with the first name on the birth certificate as it is the name I have chosen when I came to earth.
