lol he mentions the 8th harmonic / sesisquare of Elvis between VEnus and Neptune right away, reminding me of the other thread. So I was getting curious abuot my own 8th harmonic chart again and P`s, and lucky coincidence, I do not even have to do the work to type in the right number in the field for harmonic charts, because it is already there as we have the 8th september today. Since this is my thread I fully intend to put here whatever I want, even though this has nothing to do with Elvis. But this is my 8th harmonic chart so apparently this is whaat drives me from underneath Looks like pretty intense inner drives. That Pluto-Psyche is really something! (sesisquare in my chart). it seems like three complexes there: 1. T-Square Pluto-Psyche opposite Uranus square Mars-Chiron (Juno is just out of orb for Mars-Chiron) 2. T-square Mercury opposite Saturn square Venus 3. Grand trine (which I personally love. lol) Moon- Juno - Saturn (and exceptionally tight actually) which then becomes a Kite through Ceres-Neptune-Node, Jupiter is a bit far out there, For P this one looks like this Just wanting to direct your look to the stellium in late libra with Mercury 15 Libra Jupiter 21 Libra Venus 27 Libra Mars 28 Libra This certainly makes sense being some sort of inner drive for him, esp. that really tight Venus-Mars, thinking in particular in terms of his music and performing arts now, (though of course we could also have a thought or two about his attitude towards social or romantic relationships, well his drive and motivation would definitely be to having fun and playfulness, as it shows in his external behaviour, at least in social situations, we also have seen his other side of course) This comes from Mars and Jupiter being conjunct in his natal chart (10-11 Virgo) squaring Mercury on 9 Sag, and Mars-Jupiter being sesisquare Venus on 25 Cap and Mercury being semisquare Venus (Mercury-Venus-Mars definitely resonating with having a beautiful voice and working on it, as well! and surely also reminds me of some of our playful conversations we`ve had, I guess taking my 8th harmonic chart into account, it makes sense why he has them with me mostly. Of course I am also reflecting back in kind, which not everyone does or can do.) But I also see and was not aware of it before Moon opposing Pluto square Psyche - I am not quite sure how to put into to words, but that is mighty intense. as I said I am going to derail this thread to my best.

Great video, lumina ! Thanks!! I took notes. Steps1. Note aspects with less than 1° orb 2. Direct midpoint structures in the natal chart Heart of the interpretation, zero in on what's really powerful: look at midpoint structures, 1°30 orb, looking just at planets, not angles or nodes. Half a degree orb or less, 0°15 orb super powerful For Elvis: a) Uranus = Venus/Pluto midpoint, very exact...this makes his Venus-Uranus-Pluto t-square extremely prominent, part of a major energy system" b) Jupiter = Mercury/Neptune: dreamer, visionary (So glad he caught that!) 3. See what vibration those direct midpoint structures are in (need software) In Elvis' case, his Uranus = Venus/Pluto is a 41 vibration. What does 41 mean? It's a prime number and a group of them have been researching these vibrations, they will be presenting their findings at a conference. 41 is lively, dynamic, has things in common with 11, which is related to music, and it builds bridges. It takes a cultural interest in progressive things, often music, and it builds bridges, and that's exactly what Elvis did. (❤️) 41 is an innocent vibration, curious about other cultures & integrating that into one's own art. Look at 41 harmonic chart, check to see if other planets are involved. In Elvis' case, Saturn is there. In vibrational astrology, they see Saturn as bringing a person down to the essence of things. Saturn indicates that something is very important to the person and they want to get to the heart of it. So Elvis got into the heart of that music, became part of it, explores it and is sincere about it. Elvis is not just a show, he's real about this. You see it very clearly in these frequencies.... I love what Cochrane says @ 17:00. "We're seeing what vibration Elvis is on." Jupiter = Mercury/Neptune is 17th harmonic: Empathy, compassion, interest in the stories of other people, entering the stories of other people. It's very common in actors and performers. Elvis has a grand trine in his 17th harmonic, with Jupiter-Mercury-Neptune trine Mars and Pluto. This is the big show, the dream, the fantasy, the magic, the large scale in which he does things. "He's quiet in his personal life, but when he does his 17, his show, it's big time....really big. And he's gifted in it, he channels this energy, and consequently he's successful in it...so when you do what you're designed to do, you tend to succeed." (Damn I REALLY wish I could hire Cochrane to read my chart and tell me what I was designed to do!) 4. Interpret Midpoint Strings and Midpoint Pyramids. Use full 1°30 orb. We don't do this in a quick reading, just a longer reading. In Elvis' chart we're going to see midpoint pyramids. Look at the other midpoints and see if they tie in to the really strong ones...if so they add new qualities to the major themes. See if they have two planets in common with those major midpoint...if so, they connect and are part of the bigger wiring diagram. The more planets, the tighter the orb, the more dominant it is...well just start watching around 24:20 to 26:00. I can't transcribe all this, but it's fascinating how he talks about these wiring diagrams. You gotta see that! Such a cool allegory. "In vibrational astrology, we don't usually find that Neptune makes the person spaced out, incompetent, prone to being extremely gullible...those things can happen...but when it's added to a large pattern, it adds the magic, the fantasy, it makes it larger than life. And that's the magical quality of Elvis...he's like a dream...and the Venus-Uranus-Neptune is actually intimately connected with the Venus-Uranus-Pluto...'it's like a religious experience, people would see him and they're thrown out of their nomal life, it's like they've entered a new world.'" Pluto = Mercury/Venus, verbal intelligence, literary sensitivity, fascination with clever words. "I don't think of Elvis as a literary person, but the chart says he is....." Here, Cochrane doesn't know enough of Elvis' biography to speak to what it actually indicates about his life; Elvis was extremely well-read and attached to his books, highlighting and making notes, very actively involved. He talks about Elvis' soul quality and sincerity towards the end. 5. Aspect patterns in harmonic charts 8 5 7 9 11 13 17 19 23 29 31 6. Midpoint structures in these harmonic charts. 7. See what harmonics up to 360 are strong. Start around 34:00 for his eloquent "sales pitch" on harmonic charts. So impressive.

lumina8th harmonic is what drives a person from underneath? I must've missed that. Ugh I have so, sooooooo much to catch up on, learning astrology. I wish I could just have a brain transplant with Cochrane, I adore the way he analyzes charts and I want to be able to do that with any chart I see. Geez, I need software. And a new computer. And an office. And clients. No just kidding on that last part, but maybe eventually.... Anyway, not sure what to say about your charts except they look cool. I'm not quite grasping the full implications. Does it matter to have overlapping stelliums in the 8th harmonic, as you do with P? It matters, right? This can function like straightforward synastry? I know we interpret 9th harmonic that way, I'm just taking a moment to let this sink in. Well it's a huge amount of work if I think of it, looking at all the harmonic synastries possible with another person, seeing which one holds the most significance, applying the meaning of that harmonic vibration itself. Do you know if the 8th harmonic is particularly full of conjunctions and aspects between you and P? Or does another stand out more?

I decided to check my 41st harmonic chart as Cochrane was elaborating on the meaning of it..."building bridges." I have a lot going on with that. One of the Elvis songs I've listened to the most:

Ava , well 8th harmonic is about "inner drives and motivations" (Cochranes words, but it covers what others wrote, just not as clearly. lol) so for me that has the "from underneath/ from inside" feel. IT`s also not 4th harmonic aspects, so it is a little more subtle, not less intense, just less visible if you look from a distance and from outside the person. You don´t always get to see what REALLY drives a person, but it`s there, and with 8th harmonic aspects, it comes out at certain junctures in time (transits esp.) At least that is how I think. And yes I really resonate with Cochrane`s way of analyzing things, even though of course vibrational astrology leads us away from the mainstream a little. Yes, synastry works with harmonic charts, from the same harmonic chart to the same harmonic in the other person. It probably is one of the more than average patterns in between us (Cochrane also focuses on patterns, which start with 3 planets aspecting each other, but the more the merrier, or more emphasized). It`s just like pulling, two patterns in both charts into a shared forcefield, in our case the forcefield of these two patterns vibrate with the 8th harmonic, so having to do with what drives us, of course there is also tension underneath, as tension is what prepares the path for change or even just action. If there is no tension or energy, you wouldn`t do anything. Being 8th harmonic I think it is more subtle, it is that pinching as I described it, repeatedly, relentlessly, until you finally give up and just say: okay, gotta work with that. I singled out his pattern, my pattern is of course the square of my Jupiter-Ceres to my Neptune-NN (squares also come up as conjunctions in 8th harmonic chart, as do conjunctions and oppositions, along with the semisquares and sesisquares). It tells us that not only, as it is very overt in our synastry my Jupiter-Ceres and Neptune-NN are connected to his Mars-Jupiter and MErcury (as straightforward oppositions and squares), but somehow his Venus gets into the mix, too, which is not as overt, because his Venus is connected there through the 8th harmonic aspects. Since some of these are symmetrical patterns, and close to exact, we are finding several midpoint pictures involved. just the direct ones My Jupiter and Ceres = his Mars/Jupiter (also in a direct opposition line) his Mercury = My Neptune/Node (also directly conjunct) his Venus = my Neptune/Ceres = Node/Ceres = Jupiter/Neptune = Jupiter/Node these are the ones being part of the 8th harmonic patterns as you can see. However there are also some other midpoints activated through the planets in questions (his Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter - my Jupiter, Neptune, NN, Ceres), but resonating with other harmonics I suppose. my Neptune and Node = his Sun/Uranus = Uranus/MC = Moon/Uranus my Jupiter and Ceres = his Uranus/IC (I think Uranus might be in 5th harmonic, quintiles or something in his chart. yes looking them up in his 5th harmonic chart (Mars, Jupiter and Uranus and IC are together, and Sun and Moon are opposite in the 5th harmonic chart, obviously emphasizing the importance of "playing - 5th - with others: opposition in the 5th, is 10th harmonic, and bringing the quality of the 5th harmonic, playing jsut because of playing, in relation with the external world) my Neptune = Node = his Venus/Pluto (maybe a tad wide, but I think it is there, esp. since I have ASC nearby and his Venus/Pluto falls right in between my ASC and my Neptune-Node) Venus/ Pluto has a square for him natally, so this resonates with a 4th harmonic, which is of course in a certain connection to 8th harmonic as well. his Mars= Jupiter = my Saturn/Uranus (a tad wide though, no clue in what vibration my Saturn/Uranus might be. lol) his Mars= Jupiter = my Moon/IC (no, clue well, it would be semisquare by 2°52, but probably picking rather up another minor aspect, of a higher frequency) his Mercury = my Neptune/ASC = Node/ ASC (all conjunctions, so the most basic of all aspects) his Venus = my Mars/Juno (7th harmonic chart, Mars and juno are biseptile each other, and both septile his Venus) his Venus = my Moon/Venus (9th harmonic chart, Moon is novile Venus in my chart) his Venus = my Juno/ASC (possibly also 7th harmonic but maybe wider) his Venus sort of becomes a focal point, however if just looking at the major aspects you wouldn`t see it, but well I´ve been feeling it, so I guess it`s there. lol

The basic harmonic charts are the 8th and 9th btw, and additionally the 5th and the 7th. (at least I think so and after reading Cochrane`s wife`s presentation of this, though she did not address the 5th, they seem to think as well).
8th is a summary of the dynamic aspects in a chart, and is about the motivations, the drives and where you put your energy, sometimes of course also coming with some tension.
9th is showing the harmonious aspects (trine and sextile included, though the sextile is coming up as opposite, and well sextiles do enlist the cooperation of others, so that makes sense), where you flow with your environment and want to just harmonize.
5th is about your creativity, playfulness, this playing for yourself, like a child almost, and also adding this spark
7th is about focusing, discipline, and also spiritual things.
5th and 7th are like the extrovert and introvert manifestations of a creative and spiritual spark. 7th more turning inward, 5th being usually more extrovert (depending on the aspects of course)
Anything else is whereever the basic charts lead you and might be totally different for people.

I decided to check my 41st harmonic chart as Cochrane was elaborating on the meaning of it..."building bridges." I have a lot going on with that. Moon-Mars-Uranus, and a Mercury-Saturn and Jupiter-Pluto isolated aspect. Well there is not really that much going on in terms of symmetrical aspectconfigurations, however that Moon-Mars-Uranus alone is impressive. Mars possibly on the Moon/Uranus-mp. Yes, definitely a bridge-builder. But probably in a very unconventional emotional sense. I mean Moon/Uranus. my 41st is quite interesting as well direct midpoints Sun = Moon/Neptune wide Mercury = Venus/Mars strong Jupiter = Mercury/Pluto very strong (0°09) Jupiter = Saturn/Pluto weak (over 1 degrees, but obviously a midpoint pyramid in 41st) Saturn = Sun/ Uranus Saturn = Venus/Mars weak Uranus = Sun/Jupiter Neptune = Jupiter/Uranus very strong (0°05) - well call me Miss Weird. lol Avawe both have Mercury-Saturn in 41st harmonic aspect. At least our bridges would have a reasonable structure and stability.

(Damn I REALLY wish I could hire Cochrane to read my chart Yes, that would be cool. Anyway we can start however, with the exact aspects in your chart and the direct midpoints. exact aspects: Sun quinkunx Mars Sun square Jupiter Mars sextile Jupiter Mercury quintile Jupiter Venus semisextile Uranus Mars semisquare Saturn Saturn quintile Pluto (Sun-Mars-Jupiter, even though not in the same harmonic, is definitely the point to start, considering three planets aspect each other exactly; I wonder if that is an 48th harmonic relation; let me check: Yes it is! - just in case you wonder how I came to the guess? quinkunx is a 12th harmonic aspect, sextiles is part of the 12th harmonic aspect series, square is a 4th harmonic aspects, so I mutiplied those, 48th harmonic is divisible by all three numbers, so that seemed to make sense. In reality your 48th harmonic chart looks like that Sun: 8 Taurus Mars: 18 Taurus Jupiter: 19 Taurus Chiron: 22 Taurus Sun is a bit on the wide side, but still in orb, though the major emphasis is on mars-Jupiter. Also interestingly you have Venus and uranus on 16°02 and 16°03 Aquarius in that chart, that is ridiculously tight, so we know your Venus-Uranus seems to be part of the 48th harmonic as well (and of course it also occurs in the 12th harmonic, as you have the semisextile, but don`t ask me what 48th harmonic chart means. lol I is 4x12, so it seems to resonate with square and quinkunx/ semisextile symbolism, like striving to give results/ effects/manifestations to the 12th harmonic vibration, so probably a constant adjusting to changing circumstances or even your own mindsets.) direct midpoints: Moon = Saturn/Uranus strong Saturn = Moon/Neptune very strong (0°08) Pluto = Mercury/Mars weak(er), as it is over 1 degree but under 1°30 You do have a midpoint pyramid, of Moon-Saturn-Uranus and Saturn-Moon-Neptune The common planets are Moon and Saturn and they are linked to Uranus and Neptune. It also brings Uranus and Neptune together through Moon and Saturn. Whatever that means. Well just tentatively thinking it sounds rather interesting to me, having the dedicated, and also traditional oriented planets somehow being affected by those who are "most out there", like you are a bit of an alien, and extremely intuitive and also bringing in those spiritual concepts, while at the same time you also maintain a traditional lifestyle. quite something to bridge.

Ava"Not sure why I consider it such a compliment to be told I'm an alien. " Because your Mercury is in Aquarius and you have a VEnus-Neptune-conjunction. lol It was meant as a compliment btw. "alien" is totally uranus-neptune to me, highly intuitive and spiritual of course, but somehow spaced out and not of this world completely. Well my ASC is on P`s Uranus/Neptune-mp exact, just makes one wonder how he really sees me. LOL (it is also near his Venus/Pluto-mp though) "Saturn = moon/Neptune, the Sandbach midpoint reading is grim. " Yes, Saturn-Moon-Neptune is one of the more challenging constellations, and those are also associated with feelings of depression or melancholia or sadness, but it depends on the underlying vibration of course. A grand trine might have a totall different effect than a T-square. Well also, in event charts it seems for the most part to spell real disillusionment (unless the planets have really good aspects, then of course there is also something about making dreams come true, right?), but individual charts are different. There are some very positive things with that constellation. just that you probably are a burden to yourself, because of the extreme sensitivity and selfawareness and also selfcritical behaviour of this constellation. for example you might be so in tune with other people`s feelings, especially the more somber ones, and soaking them up like a sponge that this sensitivity and receptivity will make you feel depressed, not because you are depressed, but you have soaked up the feelings of other people who might be in a very low state of mind or emotion. and this will affect you severely, like it is really difficult to have boundaries in this regard and not to get too influenced by other people`s feelings. "Yeah I see what you mean! His Venus = your Jupiter/Neptune, I just love this one. " Me, too. Yes, I know it is overidealistic, indulgent maybe not quite realistic, but I love the romantic spiritual idealistic note of this. It`s almost like a guarantee of how the way he expresses his creativity or even appreciation (his Venus in my 2nd house too) restores my ideals and my faith somehow. ", midpoints don't matter here. " But midpoints do matter in harmonic charts! Cochrane uses them as well.

Thanks again lumina , "But midpoints do matter in harmonic charts! Cochrane uses them as well." Definitely didn't mean to pretend I know much about harmonic charts. When I said, "maybe the orbs are off and even if they were exact, midpoints don't matter here," I meant, maybe the midpoints don't matter. Ok so if midpoints matter, then my 41st has Mercury = moon/Jupiter and Mercury = Mars/Jupiter, I suppose (not sure of orbs or orb rules). Happy bridges. Oh speaking of that, I think Priscilla Presley has done a great job keeping Elvis' memory alive, building a bridge between himself and the future, his failing reputation and the super-stardom he enjoys now. She's the one who converted Graceland to a tourist destination..." Graceland is the most visited private residence in the United States and the world." (wikipedia) And she was there at the beginning of Elvis Presley Enterprises, tries to keep everything classy, even though the way he fell apart, it wasn't classy. But she makes sure to present him in a favorable light (at least now; at first she had a lot of pain to process, so "Elvis & Me" came out...the book and the godawful film.) But check this out: Do you count that as a Grand Sextile, with the ASC serving as one point? Elvis' 41st Harmonic has... 16 Sag sun 16 Cancer NN conjunct 14 Cancer Mercury 16 Cap Priscilla 16 Pisces Mars conjunct Elvis (15) and Jupiter (20) 17 Taurus Uranus conjunct MC (20) "we both have Mercury-Saturn in 41st harmonic aspect. At least our bridges would have a reasonable structure and stability." Yes.......and maybe this is one reason you and I have been communicating consistently for years. edit
