"The Diurnal Chart Date Published: - by Celeste Teal A Diurnal chart is a chart that brings all of the natal potential to the foreground for a one day only period. It is the personal daily horoscope. To calculate the Diurnal, use exactly the same data as for the birth chart, except change the date to the date in question. Do not alter the time of birth, the time zones or location from those at birth. An easy way to see if the chart has been calculated correctly is to check the position of the Sun. It should remain in the same house position as at birth. This is the only factor that will not change, although Mercury and Venus will also remain near the Sun and will not stray too very far from their birth position. This chart can be used to pinpoint the timing of events, but the aspects must be very nearly exact. Keeping that and a few specific guidelines in mind, the Diurnal can be interpreted much the same as Solar Return charts except they are for one day only. Basic Guidelines The Diurnal chart must be based upon the radix (nativity) and current directions to the radix, such as secondary progressions. The natal planets and points as well as the most prominent figures from the progressed chart can be inserted upon the Diurnal for the most accurate interpretation. Or, using WinStar, run a tri-wheel chart with the Daily chart in the inner wheel, the natal chart in the center and the current secondary progressions in the outer wheel to see all the connections easily. Click here to look at a Diurnal Chart. The current rising sign of the Diurnal and ruler of the chart are the prime indicators. Exact aspects formed by the ruler of the chart are quite important. Unless there are significant issues to surface for the day, there may be no exact aspects to this ruler. The natal house corresponding to the rising sign shows areas of special attention. The bodies lying exactly upon an angle of the Diurnal, whether the natal, progressed or daily planets, are of exceptional significance, along with the exact aspects they form. Aspects formed by transiting planets (the planets in the Diurnal chart) to natal planets may go by unnoticed unless one of the planets happens to be the ruler of the Diurnal, or one of the planets involved is angular in the Diurnal, or in aspect to a Diurnal angle. The bodies crossing the Ascendant or Meridian, either daily or natal reveal the most important issues. The presence of a traditional malefic on one of these angles is sometimes indicative of a disturbance, especially if in stressful aspect to transiting or natal planets. If the daily Sun, Moon or Mercury lies on one of these angles in afflicted aspect, it is likewise a sign of disturbance. This is also true of the radical Sun, Moon or Mercury if afflicted in the natal chart and falling upon an angle of the Diurnal. The contacts to the angles by Jupiter or Venus reflect advantages, unless they are very afflicted. Likewise, the Sun, Moon or Mercury produce benefits when falling on the angles if there are no afflictions to them. Benefits are also produced from the natal Sun, Moon and Mercury upon one of these angles unless afflicted in the birth chart. The daily aspects of the Moon must be considered in regard to the house(s) occupied by the planets in aspect. For example, a conjunction of Moon to Mars in the second house may indicate impulsive spending, while a trine to Jupiter in the 11th may show a bit of constructive financial advice from a friend. In summary, the primary effects are due to transits over the angles of the Diurnal. Next, the conjunctions that are formed to the Sun by major planets, then the mutual aspects and conjunctions of the planets, and lastly to the aspects formed by the daily Moon to the other daily planets. Reading the Diurnal Chart The Part of Fortune seems to play a quite dynamic role for interpreting the Diurnal and I've found it to furnish essential information time and again. Because the Diurnal is so transitory, special focus is furnished from a quick moving Significator like the Part of Fortune. The following chart illustrates the Diurnal basics at work, including a wealth of information when contacts involving the Part of Fortune are considered. In this chart, a Diurnal for the day of an announced promotion for the individual, we see the nodes on the angles, in close orb to Uranus, ruler of the Diurnal chart. These two, along with the Ascendant degree are forming a grand trine involving both the natal and the progressed Part of Fortune. While those links would be in force for about a two or three-day period, we see that the Daily Part of Fortune is in trine to the progressed Ascendant and in sextile to the natal Sun, ties that are exact only for this one day. The Daily Part of Fortune is also conjunct the natal Moon, which in the nativity lies in the sixth house of job responsibilities. In the sign of Capricorn, fortunate circumstances may come from associations with authorities. Agreement of benefits forthcoming is seen by the position of the Diurnal Sun conjunction to progressed Jupiter on the progressed Midheaven. The daily Moon is semi-sextile the daily Jupiter, with Jupiter in the 2nd house. Aries, the sign of new beginnings rules the 2nd house of earning potential in the Diurnal chart. These are just a few of the most notable contacts, and many of the interpretation techniques for the Solar and Lunar Returns that are detailed in my book, Predicting Events with Astrology, are in evidence. For example, Pluto in the 10th house suggests a change of status; Jupiter is the next natal planet to rise to the Diurnal Ascendant, indicating honor and benefits - it is often notable when a title is bestowed that reflects new authority and achievement. Venus highlights benefits surrounding the job and daily work routine by its position in the 6th house while in orb of conjunction to the North Node, an exceptionally positive connection. Finally, the daily North Node is conjunct the natal Ascendant, always an important indicator, suggesting the timely capacity to ride the mainstream through qualities of good leadership. Incidentally, the individual in whose chart these links are found is involved in the publishing industry; astrology in particular, so the Aquarius/Uranus theme and the prominence of Jupiter refines the chart reading with special significance. Since nothing can come to pass unless shown in the natal chart, confirmation of an accurate forecast will always be found there. Copyright: Celeste Teal " www.astrologysoftware.com/community/sessions/getarticle.asp?ID=8Personally, while preferring to see exact orbs, I have found 1-2 degree orbs, especially with Moon-aspects perfectly valid. Not beyond that however. Moon is particularly interesting as it is the most changeable planet if you compare diurnal charts of subsequent days. for example last year I noticed that whenever the diurnal Moon was within 2 degrees conjunct, or opposite Pluto (in particular), I was having not only very intense days, but curiously enough I could almost predict digestion-problems (usually int he form of obstipation) creeping up. The two times I actually was on the verge of passing out (i did for a short moment actually) because my bloodpressure was so low (and I was being affected anyway, with a really nasty cold) Chiron was on the IC. this did not happen at any other time, only with that specific thing to happen. And I also noticed that whenever a diurnal angle, curiously enough very often MC, was conjunct my natal Venus, I seemed to attract a lot of attention, especially male attention, and at least twice I was being hit on by married man in a very blatant way, that had me going: "Are you serious? You mean any woman would seriously consider that?" Well often enough the attention was more subtle and more positive though.

Usually there are also exact conjunctions to the natal (or even progressed) chart of people you have significant encounters with that day. And in some cases I have found the Draconic charts to overlay the angles or Moon or ruler of the Diurnal chart exactly, when there was an important day in a life.

Thanks lumina , Without an official birth time, it's practically futile for me to tinker with these charts, except maybe for rectification purposes. -

Your diurnal Chart IS a pretty good indicator that the time IS Right. You can Trust in that.
I find IT pretty outstanding actually, there aren't usually dpzens of aspects in a Diurnal Chart AS WE Look for Very specific Things. Some days Go completely without aspects.

Thanks lumina . Apologies im a bit confused with the data we would input - if someone was born say on 1st August 2000 at 9am in london, they would put 28th August 2018, 9am London? is that correct? Pls dnt quote

vg correct, you use the current date, but your personal birthtime and birth location (though some astrologers suggest trying the current location, I`d just recommend trying out what works for you. I always pick the birth location)

Ava btw you did put in the date of the day BEFORE the meeting,r ight? I am not quite sure which date it was for you (might be different for you than here, because of the timezone difference), but let`s say you met on the late morning of 25th august, then your diurnal chart for that would have been the one from 24th august (because you were born in the evening and your 25th august diurnal chart started on around 6:30 p.m on the 25th, so any event BEFORE that time, belongs to the prior day. Maybe you already considered that, but I just wanted to point that out. Funny enough the last time P and me met was pretty much within the hour after his new diurnal chart started, and this is in particular interesting in terms of the Moon-placement. Well of course the day before was maybe important, too, or interesting at least, as of course he was already in town, the performance on that evening before, was very intense, maybe due to the storm suddenly happening and literally blowing his hat off stage, and he clearly was aware of me being there, but the difference is that we only talked on the day after that (well shortly after MY diurnal chart started the next morning I left a comment on the previous show, which he liked quite a lot apparently, and maybe it also contributed to the events following.) But for the previous day his diurnal Moon was on 18 Cancer, in partile opposition to diurnal Pluto (and diurnal Moon falling onto his Draco Neptune, and pretty closish in between my SAturn-Vertex, curiously enough). Also on that day his diurnal IC was exactly conjunct our composite ASC and diurnal Mars was in exact conjunction to that IC (I suppose there was a reason he was staying overnight in town. LOL Looks like a bit stress at the homefront to me. though from the looks of it the stress would even be greater the day after that, but anyway, I disgress) So previous day diurnal Moon 18 Cancer in 9th house, opposing Pluto in 3rd house, with diurnal Moon just having transited over his natal 5th house cusp. diurnal ASC had just been conjunct his natal Pluto in intercepted 7th house, about 2 days before. On the day we met, diurnal Moon was on 3 Leo, right on the diurnal MC on 2 Leo, separating from the opposition to Mars on 00 Aquarius and squaring Uranus on 2 Taurus, ruler of the IC. That Uranus-square-IC was very exact that day (Uranus, ruler of IC in 7th house and in his natal 1st house). Uranus was also on the Moon/Mars-mp by just 19 minutes of orb, which was only that day, not the day before, not the day after. But just wanted to point out this: previous day: ------------------ Moon on 18 Cancer in 9th house opposite Pluto on 19 Capricorn in 3rd house with Moon square Saturn/Node 0°39 Pluto square Saturn / Node 0°10 the day of our chance meeting: -------------------------------- Moon on 03 Leo in 10th house conjunct MC on 02 Leo sextile chartruler-Venus on 03 Libra in 12th house (Natal 7th, intercepted, antiscion of natal DESC, natal Karma on 03 Libra) quinkunx Saturn on 03 Cap in 3rd house (Natal 10th house, antiscion of n Sun-Moon) square Uranus on 02 Taurus in 7th house (natal Vesta on same degree) conjunct NN on 05 Leo (a bit wide, but Moon conjunct Node/MC by 0°09) Moon = Node/MC = Jupiter/DESC (and square Mars/Node) Uranus = Sun/Pluto = Moon/Mars = Mercury/Pluto = Moon/IC But even without those midpoints, Moon in Cancer opposite Pluto compared to (elevated)Moon in Leo square Uranus and those were just two subsequent days, probably he experienced them like day and night. This is why I put so much emphasis on the Moon, it explains a lot usually. Of course the angles are very specific as well, but they change about one degree per day, the Moon moves 12 degrees! What a difference a day makes! BTW on the second day his diurnal ASC was presicely conjunct his Draconic ASC. Well for me the previous day diurnal Moon was on 15 Cancer making a Kite with diurnal Jupiter (14 Scorpio), diurnal Neptune (15 Pisces), diurnal Juno (16 Taurus), albeit being conjunct my natal Saturn in 8th house (and trine my natal JUno), and falling onto HIS natal 5th house cusp. I had a good day before, seriously, just very different, and more about internal experiences. (and because they were intense and harmonious simultaneously I probably was even in the right mood and state of feeling to be open to that meeting that would follow) The day of our chance meeting diurnal Moon on 00 Leo EXACT opposite diurnal Mars on 00 Aquarius, making a T-square with my natal Uranus on 01 Scorpio (and of course HIS diurnal MC - IC falling there) Since my diurnal ASC was in Leo, Sun was my chartruler, and that day diurnal Sun on 17 Leo was opposite my natal Moon on 17 Aquarius and both squaring diurnal Juno on 16 Taurus (on my natal nameasteroid and my natal Saturn/Juno-mp), no clue what that was about with the Juno, but the Sun-Moon-opposition definitely made sense. of course this was already valid the day before, when diurnal Sun was on 16 Leo, it just was precise that day, when the event really happened. But comparing the two days, I find it interesting how different the emphasis is, how different the feel of both days is (even though both were really good days). It`s just the second one was a little crazier and more "social". BTW the Jupiter-Neptune-trine was still in play, as Diurnal Jupiter on 14 Scorpio conjunct diurnal IC on 14 Scorpio - trine Neptune on 15 PIsces on 8th house cusp, and square Mercury on 15 Leo in 12th That Mercury would become elevated and conjunct the MC of the eventchart when we actually met.

Yes, it is amazing, really how the diurnal chart works specifically with very exact orbs, at least in terms of the angles. AS I said I have seen Moon-aspects very valid with 2 degrees, but angles seem to work mainly within 1° to 1°30 most. And it just makes sense in your case.

Also, Ava , as you can see, in the diurnal chart you have Moon at 2 Aquarius EXACTLY squaring Uranus, the diurnal chartruler, on 2 Taurus, and this Uranus being conjunct the 3rd house cusp of communication! And the chartruler also has the exact trine to Saturn in 11th house. So not only exciting and exhilarating (Moon square Uranus), but also a stable form of getting together. And also your pr Mercury being at 2 Aquarius, was getting the conjunction of that diurnal Moon. This diurnal chart just screams communication to me, and very important one, and of course overlaying your DESC, pointing to the meeting with a very significant other person. Personally I always keep an eye on the diurnal DESC and ruler as well, as I find that this often describes whom we are meeting pretty well (or the circumstances of the meeting). here as you can see, the DESC-ruler is Sun and it has JUST entered Virgo! lol It seems to be a little wide still for the Grand trine, which would have been 1-2 days later, but even on that day you might have already felt and sense the harmony between you and him (ASC-ruler URanus applying to DESC-ruler Sun), and both being connected through the trine to lasting, stable, building Saturn (and also Saturn having to do with history and past of course, literlaly the lord of time watching over you. lol).

Avaw "I'm always using 6:34 pm birth time," Yes, me, too. But astro.com gives then a diurnal ASC of 6°49 Aquarius. Your birthplace was Camden, NJ, right? "Diurnal 8H Venus @ 16° Libra opp my natal Jupiter & draco Venus exactly, does that mean something? " Not really. Well, more complicated answer is this: It is NOT in the foreground of experience, because no connection to the diurnal angles or Moon, unless of course it is triggered by VErtex or the ASC/MC-mp, let me check it. No, nothing there - however just seeing Saturn on the ASC/MC-mp strengthened that Grand trine there even more. But anyway. Diurnal Jupiter is floating somewhere, not an angle ruler either, and even though elevated not conjunct the MC, so it is a floaty Jupiter, and hence is not doing foreground stuff in the chart. HOWEVER, personally I do always pay attention to very exact aspects, especially if they are under half a degree or ven under 15 minutes of arc. You really cannot ignore those! Even if not foreground, I think they may be in effect and make themselves felt. I still haven`t figured out the semisextile to be honest. P`s Venus is semisextile my Sun by one minute, I guess it is important (it also semisextiles my Mercury), but well he doesn`t feel alien to me, but then on the other hand we are suffering from the same semisextile energies anyway, with our Suns in Sag and Venus in CAp, we are alien to ourselves. I suppose. lol I usually would gloss over it, but I couldn´t ignore how we met when his pr Sun was conjunct his n Venus by 0°00, and hence also semisextile my n Sun obviously. Not a clue, but that was such a precise occurrence, I suppose it does mean something, though I have no idea what really. Well his Venus falls into the 2nd house, calculated from my Sun, and my Sun falls into his 12th house, in relation to his Venus. Not tsure that helps my understanding either. lol I mean hsi Venus falls into my 2nd house anyway, and my Moon falls into his 12th house, so there`s that. whatever that is. lol "LOL @ "energies that feel alien to each other"....yeah I was like, "Is this really, actually happening?" Of course that must've been in his diurnal that day, too. " Yes, and actually in everybody`s diurnal chart, which is the reason that we need to have the anchoring to the angles, Moon and back to the natal. I would also only count those aspects, unconnected to a diurnal angle or Moon, if they are very exact.

AvaThank you for the birthplace. "Yes, just as a regular old transit. " Exactly. "You'd gloss over this? " well, I never know what to make of those semisextiles. I do have Venus semisextile Mars natally interestingly (1 degree orb), what I do know is, that if something is trine the one, it is square the other at the same time. lol P has of course a semisextile between his Venus and his Sun, and Saturn trines Venus and squares Sun. "Well one could have set the stage for the other" I am sure this is exactly how it works! In reality no day and no event really happens in isolation, but is prepared and connected to other days and events and even just mindsets. "Cancer moon opp Pluto putting him in touch with deeper emotional needs, then Leo moon square Uranus sort of leaping at the chance to get some of those needs met? *speculating* " could be, the Moon-Pluto, esp, in Cancer, seems to indicate something happening deeply internally, it was also square his n Pluto by 2 degrees (and I think his pr Juno is actually at 18 Cancer, hence it was conjuncted by the Tr Moon) And the Moon-Uranus-square probably is more extrovert, more radiating energy outwardly? (actually interestingly I am going to have Moon-Uranus-conjunct in my Diurnal on friday) "Well in my diurnal for the 23rd, the IC in Taurus is close to my draco sun, but it's about 2° off, so I thought that doesn't count. Still....it made me wonder. " Hmm, seems to point to a day about 2 days before or after actually. "Could it be a matter of coming into alignment with ourselves, the part of ourselves that needs others? " could be. "Did you anticipate that it would be like THAT though? Or did you lack faith in astrology? " LOL I never really believe in these things in advance, I am sure some days with outstanding astrology alignments go by unnoticed. But on the other hand if there is an outstanding event or day, the astrology will reflect that. My diurnal chart for friday is.... interesting. his however is bleh, seriously. He probably isn`t even going to want to be there. his diurnal DESC on 8 Taurus is applying to an exact conjunction with his natal Chiron. the diurnal ASC/MC-mp is on 00 Libra-Aries, conjunct diurnal Chiron on 1 Aries in 5th house. I think the chartruler, Pluto, is still in 3rd diurnal house, and natal 11th (diurnal ASC itself is in the later part of his n 7th house - so socializing seems to still be a theme for him, albeit well Scorpio ASC,r ight. ugh) But so much Chiron. double ugh. curiously enough at our chance meeting my Draconic ASC fell onto my natal Chiron exact, but then again it means the Draconic DESC was conjunct his natal Pluto and overlaying our composite nodal axis exactly. That`s not the case for his natal Chiron and Diurnal DESC, though his Diurnal ASC is going to be closish to our pr composite Mars (a bit more than 1 degree applying though). Also his diurnal Moon is possible neither close enough to Uranus nor to DESC, to really count, or I am not sure it counts, we will see. Uranus 02° Taurus Moon 04° Taurus DESC 08° Taurus Well his diurnal Moon has certainly a bunch of weird midpoints. opposite sun/Saturn 0°23 (the widening Grand Trine) opposite Mercury/Pluto 0°01 opposite Venus/Jupiter 0°10 conjunct Uranus/DESC 0°43 (so the midpoint is in orb) opposite Pluto/MC 1°03 But with that weirdish Moon there, I thought it was peculiar, that by the time the concert starts, Transiting Moon has reached the exact degree of his diurnal DESC. "You know I love those full moons. " This one was actually a solar eclipse making a fullmoon with my Moon. (well the day later) "

Thank you lumina for this. I had a look and the ascendant seems to be hovering the same spot(my sun) every day, and the ic is getting closer to saturn as well. It makes sense that it doesnt move much as life usually doesnt change much day to day. I did a composite between my natal and the dirunal to see I guess how my relationship with my day is, it probably means nothing but i can relate to it. We have a stellium of jupiter, saturn , pluto in the second house, Money is a concern of mine right now. I'm very cautious about spending, but also im realising lately whats important in life - my health(saturn is in my LR 6th house this month too), my family/home life, and my own self worth. I'm kind of working on becoming very self reliant(i really dont like to depend or get help from others but i've been having to), and i know this is not a one day thing more like an ongoing process so the composite doesnt change that much during the day to day(aside from the sun/moon. pls dnt quote

vg "I had a look and the ascendant seems to be hovering the same spot(my sun) every day" On average (depending on the sign) the ASC will move about one degree per day. Maybe for Aquarius and PIsces it will be more and for Virgo for example it might be less. " It makes sense that it doesnt move much as life usually doesnt change much day to day. " Yes and no. I would read the diurnal as a continuous flow of a development, a gradual changing of course, but we also know of those instances when life changes within one day, one moment. even though they are not that numerous, those incidents exist. The days that stand more out than others (in a pretty normal range still, not always dramatic) usually have a diurnal planet or a natal planet exact on an angle (possibly the natal planets have precedence even, but I am not sure about that) and making also exact aspects to diurnal planets (esp. conjunction, opposition and square will indicate days that might stick in your memory). For my diurnal chart for friday, there is actually quite a bit being "brought to the light", with the diurnal DESC falling right onto my natal Jupiter-Ceres; the diurnal IC falling onto my natal Mars and the diurnal Vertex falling onto my natal Moon. Plus the diurnal Moon has exact aspects to the diurnal chart and my natal chart and additionally falling onto a natal housecusp, which is similiar than an angle, just maybe not as obvious, but the cusps are sensitive areas (so in this case Moon conjuncts diurnal Uranus, both on my 5th house cusp, exactly opposing natal Uranus) It is really these planets (along with Mercury, as chartrulr, and possibly Juptier/Neptune as DESC-ruler) that I would check in terms of exact aspects to other diurnal planets. This friday`s diurnal chart is a bit more "clear cut" than other days, like yesterday for example. A workintense day, but business as usual mainly. ONe of those days that just flow, and I am sure ask me in 3 months, and I won`t be able to tell you much about it, whereas ask me about the 10th august and I will tell you a novel even in 3 years from now! Well yesterday there was: ASC on 8 Virgo, in 9th house: of course school started again, or it was the preparation phase and that fits, and we could consider if the DESC was already in orb for conjunct my n Ceres (1,5 degrees applying), however it was not exact, in fact it was today, and today I was meeting my first class of really young pupils; I haven`t been teaching this age for many years, so it was a bit special, and they are just the cutest bunch of kids. lol diurnal DESC on n Ceres exact today. MC on 1 Gemini, in 6th house natally: a work day as I said, well 1 gemini does not fall onto any of my natal planets or diurnal planets, there is a quinkunx to n Uranus, however the conjunctions to angles are really what we see at important junctures in life (sometimes a square too, but usually in addition to the conjunction), the quinkunx to n Uranus did make sense however, as I mentioned I wasn`t feeling wanting to adapt to the work-structure again and was a little "nah, I`d rather do what I wantn today". But that was just describing the mood, not a big event (Uranus on an angle would have been vastly different) Vertex on 12 Aqua conjunct the diurnal 6th house cusp - more work and ordinary stuff emphasis, but no aspects to anything in my chart or the diurnal chart. So no surprises or unexpected events. Moon on 24 Pisces in 7th diurnal house/ 3rd natal house - well I was occupied with communicating about relating, realtionships, just mentally processing, of course the diurnal Moon was conjunct P`s ASC and my Draco Mars-ASC, so there was this layer involved, and naturally it was him I was talking about, but this was just showing the theme really, it was not bringing any event other than the mental activity, mostly because it was floating somewhere in those houses, so being present, but not demanding too much attention by creating any actual event. The chartruler Mercury needs to be taken into account too, but I have found that while the aspects are very important, if the planet is not on an angle exactly,, no event will happen. Maybe VERY exact aspects (like under half a degree) are an exception to that rule. But I am not totally sure. Mercury was on 16 Leo in diurnal 12th house opposing my natal Moon on 17 Aquarius in diurnal 6th house (and overlaying my natal 8th- 2nd house) - once more it shows what I was mentally concerned with, thinking about, talking about, and since this replicated the aspect from 10th august, putting Mercury onto the position of Sun back then (and back then Sun was the chartruler), it`s clear that a processing/ thinking (Mercury) about the energy of that day (Sun) took place. But again, no angle involvement, no event. In yesterday`s chart there was actually NO planet on any angle. The quality of the mood was being described as I have written nevertheless of course, but it was not an event-day. I am not sure that there will be ALWAYS an event if a planet ends up on an angle. However I have found that there is ALWAYS a planet on an angle, if there has been an event. in terms of my friday diurnal chart, the event prodcuced by my natal Jupiter-Ceres in 3rd house on the diurnal DESC might simply be me being supportive and being a good fan. LOL (unless there is food involved again) It also intrigued me, as my diurnal ASC will fall exactly onto P`s natal Mars-Jupiter, so the fan-support-thing seems to be apt I think. Also of course it emphasize a main synastric aspect in our charts, the exact opposition of his Mars-Jupiter to my Jupiter-Ceres (actually it involves some more asteroids, as his Mars-Jupiter is conjunct his Amor and his name in his chart and my Jupiter-Ceres is conjunct his Eros and my name in his chart, and this opposition squares his Mercury on my Neptune-NN exact). Considering I have not planned that concert before - actually he did, and I am sure he did not know about my diurnal chart - I find it downright hilarious, I mean 2 days after that, 2 days before that, this alignment would not be emphasized like that. But visiting a concert with my natal Jupiter-Ceres in Pisces in 3rd house emphasized, yes that makes sense to me. But it is entirely possible that for ME it will be an event, but for him it won`t. Well his diurnal DESC is on his natal Chiron, so it might be a very different kind of event. "I did a composite between my natal and the dirunal to see I guess how my relationship with my day is," That is a great idea, and it absolutely means a lot! Mine will have Mercury on the ASC, an exact Venus-Pluto-conjunction on 29 Scorpio (and Venus being ASC-ruler) and Uranus near the MC, though not quite conjunct (3 degrees) but squaring Sun in 1st house with 0°00 orb, and quinkunx Mars with 0°05. I am still trying to figure out that thing about very exact aspects, if they are just describing a mood/ energy or actually indicating events, even if they are kind of floating around in space (well Uranus is very close to the MC, but still I guess it might be too far). Nevertheless if something is THAT exact, I pay attention. And a Sun-Uranus-square-day, I DEFINITELY pay attention. lol And the Venus-Pluto-conjunction is under 30 minutes of orb as well, so those are definitely things to keep in mind. Sun-Uranus and Venus-Pluto, can it get any more contradictory? lol David Cochrane also recommends doing composites of the transits and the natal chart, so why not take the diurnal chart, which is a transit chart for that day, just using your birthtime. He puts most focus on exact conjunctions and oppositions, I think in one video there was a Mars-Jupiter-conjunction and he called it "your Mars-Jupiter-day". So I guess I am in for a Venus-Pluto-day. lol It is just the peak of the Venus-Pluto-phase of course. I personally find it interesting to see the development of the outer planets aspects (to other outers or even to the personal ones, there are sometimes quite extended phases, where the development applies to a peak moment and then fades away again, very interesting). I am also in a saturn-Chiron-phase (they have been opposite forever it seems, not always partile, but just can`t get away from this, and at some points the nodal axis was involved too. Curiously I have had the best things happen when they were exact. lol
