Well I can be of course wrong with my interpretations, but semisquares are tension aspects, and they put a focus on some certain energy, however, they might not do in the flashy way the squares do, It`s difficult to describe for me, but a square to me is usually explosive, while semisquares are more implosive, internalized energy, while at the same time they are extremely sensitive to being activated by transits. Yes, exactly! Imploding, and a lot of it. People don't see that, coz it's all internalized. Until it's not. That's when the 'manifestation' part of it is triggered, I suppose(?) It`s also this feeling of being pinched repeatedly, nudged in a bit more dynamic way, but not like hit black and blue as by the square, but it`s relentless that pinching, so you finally get around to make that change that you deep inside know you ahve to make. *nodding*

12YearsABlob Actually this whole gradual transition without shake up is new to me. Funny I have all these exact aspects and still had plenty of shakeups in my life lol. This is the last time pluto grates through my venus. The last 8 years I was a lot more abrasive. I finally learn to distinguish the low vibration plutonic individuals from the high vibration ones. Just because someone has a full sleeve on their arm doesn’t mean they experience more pain and suffering. Broadcasting your pain as a badge of honor, an admission fee to some underworld is hardly deep or profound. Also my moon in 12th finally learned to stop taking on the role of caring for others. These days the moment I see one single sign of psychopathy and narcissism, I’ll cut that person off right away. The sulky Pluto types love to withhold information and affection as a form of punishment and manipulation ....

Wow, I had no idea you've had to deal with all that.
I know what you mean, re: people who use their pain as some sort of leverage. There are some that think advertising their pain makes it more legitimate/more intense. Partly a side-effect of the world we live in - exhibitionism is rewarded. No-one believes you unless you shout out your feelings from the rooftops. The biggest story wins. It does rope in a lot of genuine sympathy, ironically. Moon in the 12th, no wonder you've attracted such experiences (I'll erase this if you want). It's easy to get sucked into all that, and very hard to break the cycle! Some never do. An evolved Plutonian will have the emotional strength to help someone through this.
*big hugs to you* ❤❤❤

That is EXACTLY how I see it. It`s usually also more a surprise for the surroundings for that reason, because on the surface it might not look like "much", but there is a lot going on below and sometimes there is that eruption happening.

Square is a 90 degree and 4th harmonic aspect, and it has to do with friction Semisquare is actually half a square, and so it's a 45 degree and 8th harmonic aspect. It has to do with minor friction. A close orb semisquare could be just as challenging as a wide orb square. It is an aspect that's regularly used and viewed as major by Cosmobiologists and Uranian/Hamburg School Astrologers.. Planets in semisquare appear as an opposition in a 90 degree which Cosmobiologists and Uranian/Hamburg School Astrologers use. Planets in semisquare appear as a conjunction in an 8th harmonic chart, an opposition in the 4th harmonic chart, and a square in a 2nd harmonic chart.
In my astrological nativity,
Ecliptic Longitude:
Mars semisquare Chiron - '21
taking latitude into account and determining by the 3D great circle distance between objects on the celestial sphere and not just the 2D difference between their zodiac position longitudes:
Moon semisquare Eris - '26 Mars semisquare Chiron - '08 Pallas semisquare Saturn - '29
