Moon in Scorpio is a fascinating placement to me. It's a placement capable of great depth but is also capable of being corrupt by their own depth. Even though they feel things so deeply they also are acutely aware of exactly what their feeling and how everyone around them is reacting to their feelings; they get caught up in these questions about why they are rejected for feeling the way they do because people don't share the same level of depth.
Often they react to emotional situations aggressively because it's an inbuilt defense mechanism they have from having been hurt in the past. It is in the nature of the Scorpion to sting and kill anything it deems as a threat to its survival. Because of this they can unintentionally come across as bitchy and that's what makes it hard for them to express their feelings; they can't express them properly without feeling attacked even if they aren't from a logical standpoint. People tend to just have trouble understanding them because they don't sink into their feelings, trying to get to the bottom of them. They often get tagged as being too sensitive, too much, taking things too personally, telling them they need to stop feeling this way as if their emotions can be managed like important documents. They purposely jump deep into the emotions they feel to come out reborn again, to transform and solve the problem that has been bothering them so much.
Often they need to understand that they aren't wrong or bad for feeling the way they do, and that they feel things deeply and intensely for a reason. They were given the ability to feel things deeply than others and that they don't need to fit in with society, that it's okay to accept themselves for who they are and let themselves be free of the shackles of societal expectations.

Excellent Electrode, thank you. Our (American) society doesn't value grief and grieving, everyone is supposed to be happy all the time. That just drives the misery underground where it festers. If it were more acceptable to just be upset when it's time to be upset, things wouldn't get so corked up and problematic. At work and school, there are sick days, vacation days, but not always time to just go home and recover from a major blow. Isn't that unhealthy? "...only one state, Oregon, has passed a law requiring employers to provide bereavement leave (it took effect January 1, 2014). The other 49 states, plus the District of Columbia, do not require employers to provide employees either paid or unpaid bereavement leave." www.employmentlawhandbook.com/leave-laws/bereavement-leave-laws/Yeah who cares if your daughter died? Get back to work. It's BRUTAL out there. Scorpio moons see everything so clearly, there is just so much to brood over. My Scorpio moon son gets insomnia, lays awake at night just thinking.
