This hasn't been made a law yet, but it's nice to see this taking root.
The bill seeks to ban mile-long driftnets, which result in a lot of marine 'bycatch' and are banned in many countries.
(Click on the title for link to the article). (Sharks like to be petted too. Source: here.)
Noon chart for the day the bill was passed:
I don't know a whole lot about this. But I'm a compulsive news-avoider, and was pleasantly surprised to see this piece on my one of favourite wildlife photographer's Instagram.

P.S. Petting sharks, Ikr..! When do I get to pet one? I petted one the other day at the aquarium! I didn't know I was going to! Also went through the shark tunnel: Seriously, I really love sea turtles and seeing them there, and then turning around and reading the wall plaque talking about how they are mistaking plastic shopping bags for jellyfish and being harmed or killed by swallowing them too much.... That hasn't left my mind, it's just stuck there.

Sagittarius is an animal lover too isnt it and in the fourth house, reiterating that the earth is home to many other creatures besides ourselves Love this thread! It would be great to list aspects/planets in houses/asteroids which could indicate an interest in care of the ocean, Earth and our ecosystems. I would love to post such a list for reference in Hidden Treasures. Aspects to Neptune make perfect sense in this respect as these can mark an ending of old ways, a change in direction and increase in compassion.

Yeah, I've read a lot in media..(re: sea turtles) :/ It's sad to think about because there isn't an easy solution...
Well, there kind of is..but it has its own complications and isn't easy to implement on a large scale.

Sag moon might have something to say there idk Yeah, Sag is an animal-lover! And Sag moon can be quite the crusader for causes they believe in. You're right, it might have something to do with it. The emotional energy of the day could have been the impetus for that water grand trine to kick into action. Because, while the water grand trine (with Pluto in the mix), could be considered as an ideal setting for events like this, by itself - it is not known for 'action'. It will, however, provide a smooth flow to whatever action is in motion. So, if we consider the Sag moon as the 'trigger' - it's like flipping the switch 'on' for a closed circuit. The grand trine is a closed circuit sitting idly by. Until one of the points (say the moon's ruler, Jupiter), kicks it into gear. That's when the current starts flowing, and things are in motion.
Great observation!

Yeah - true, especially since it is aligning with two benefics.
When I was making this chart, I was wondering the same - what asteroids would fit this? The ones I could think of in the moment, I've added here, but that's just a few, and only about the 'ocean'. It'd be great to expand that list.

I've begun such a list in Asteroids. Some I'm looking at for the 1st time. Now I need to find charts of environmental activists or event charts, such as the one you posted, to check on their validity. Would you try those asteroids in your event chart?

Sure, I'll try those out. Let's also look at activists' charts, like you said.
