lumina the Venus/Pluto conundrum is so weird! I often have strong Venus/Pluto in the composites with people in my life who I really cannot stand. It's kind of bizarre. I think if one has a light hearted Venus in their chart, they would be quite repulsed by the kind of clingy energy Venus/Pluto produces, whereas other people just eat it up and let it (happily) consume them I agree that it's so hard to find a good astrologer's take on Chiron. I have to agree with you when you equate it to shame/humiliation when its at a lower vibration. Historically whenever I've had a strong Chiron transit to a personal planet/angle, I have obsessive thoughts about all the things I've done wrong, will do wrong.. like my mind will keep going over trauma until it figures something out. A wretched process I have Venus trine Pluto in my chart, widely, and a Gemini Moon/Venus conjunction. I've always wanted to find that perfect mix of attraction, and attention, without it being overpowering. I can be really needy, but I don't like it at all. I really don't like it from a guy. Although I've only really experienced it from men I don't like, and am not attracted to at all - for some reason, they LOVE me (and I think that points to something unhealthy with them). I also deal with obsessive thoughts, although that comes and goes, and have Chiron conjunct my Sun, and Mercury. I have only really obsessed over one guy as an adult, and I hated that, too. He said we could still hook up, after he really upset me/blindsided me with something (one of the most demoralizing experiences of my life), but I had too much self-respect for that, and was too repulsed by him. The feelings stayed with me for a long time, the attraction, but I think that was more about my fears around the rest of my life, not being able to find anyone else, and anger over having invested feelings and time into what amounted to a useless, weird relationship with someone, that hit all of my insecurities. Even when he didn't understand one or two of them, I was still triggered.

Uhhh so I'm just a clueless American and had no idea that this is what royal protocol consisted of: I'll try and sum up the video for those who can't watch it.. - Because she isn't of royal blood, she's not allowed to walk in front of Prince Harry. She always has to be a few steps behind him.
- Apparently her royal wave is "overly enthusiastic"
- She's no longer allowed to wear ripped jeans, or cross her legs in public with her "ankles splayed apart". Royalty (specifically women) are supposed to have their ankles crossed to keep their knees together.
- Royals aren't allowed to take selfies with the public
- Her wave is "someone clam-like" with "her fingers rapidly closing against her palm", she needs to master the "windsor wave" and move her arm at a right angle with gentle side to side motions.
- She's supposed to call the Queen "your majesty" when they first meet and then "ma'am" from then on out.
- Her father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law are all supposed to be addressed as "your royal highness".
- She needs to always curtsy when greeting all of the above because they're "senior ranking royal members", including her future niece and nephew, Charlotte and George.
- When dining with the Queen, Meghan can't start eating before the Queen, and has to stop eating when the Queen stops eating, even if she still has food left on her plate.
- She's only allowed to wear a tiara after she's married Harry, as the first time a woman wears a tiara it's supposed to be a symbolizing of a girl turning into a woman.
Yikes! I think all of her Leo and Libra may enjoy this though. It's not for my Uranian self.

I second that! Did not know about it myself, and frankly, it just feels ridiculous to me. I guess for one to marry in such a stuffy environment they really have to be in love. Well I certainly could never myself marrying into such a circle. lol (not that anyone ever would want me to). I like to wear my tiaras whenever I want to!

I love that Harry didn't school her on all of this beforehand.
I assume he didn't teach her all of that, on purpose.
"Listen, love, you always have to walk a few steps behind me, and generally act inferior to all my relatives...."
ROFL

lumina Yes environments like this are my personal nightmare. It really kickstarts my anxiety into override when even the slightest "mistake" will invoke the harshest kinds of judgment from people that take themselves way too seriously. I'm also someone that loves a good kitschy tiara from the dollar store every now and then so the Duchess life is out of the question for me! Ava LOLLL okay this was also my thought! Harry the redheaded rebel, traveling across the seas for a biracial, older, divorced bride just kind of screams "the monarchy sucks and I'm going to stick it to them in every little way possible" as if them cringing is his pleasure

I was saying elsewhere that I hoped they'd chose May 19th for the wedding date. I'm happy that is indeed the date!
* The sun will be transiting conjunct their 28° Taurus progressed composite ASC. * Venus transiting exactly conjunct 29° Gemini pr comp NN. * Moon's in Cancer, draco moon's in Pisces to match Harry's natal draco placements:
23 Cancer, his draconic sun; 24 Cancer, her ASC 22 Cancer, transiting moon at 12 noon 21 Pisces, his draconic moon 14 Pisces, transiting draconic moon at 12 noon....and this echoes their engagement announcement with the moon in Pisces.

Ava that astrology is amazing. I think I said that elsewhere already. And the Dracos are sooooo strong; I think it seems to imply that there is a "purpose/Meaning" behind that that goes beyond the surface or what we see on first glance. I still find it sort of hilarious that this is the day I am going to be on the Meet and Greet and concert with Lancelot, which I had never even planned for, but like most things concerning that man, it just "happened". lol On a more personal note I do wonder what might have been up with the Dracos last night, too.

Wow! Thank you for that analysis Faith. My obsession with draconic grows more and more with each passing world event

Uh so apparently the 19th of May has another iconic event in the history of the British royal family... 482 years later.. Doesn't this family have a royal astrologer?? If not I volunteer for tribute

Been too lazy to right-click on this image but here we go! The wedding did start at noon but I fast forwarded to the time to when they said their vows The loaded 5th house is certainly an eyebrow raiser.

Maybe not best place to comment this but, from 1st I saw her picture, something stinks about her. She has a feeling of being a heatbraker and her having hidden things. She just feels a bit Ew to me, I don't find her to be trustworthy.

I've always really liked her but I found her energy during the wedding to be a little frightening. She was really dead eyed and wooden, maybe a symptom of anxiety or something but the contrast between her and Harry's sincerity was somewhat alarming visually

..... the contrast between her and Harry's sincerity was somewhat alarming visually I agree, well I was making fun of her to my family, giving them glistening lovey-dovey eyes while trying to get my smile perfectly shaped and putting my hand on my heart, saying "Oh this is all so precious!" and blinking meaningfully. It's very aesthetic (the way SHE does it), but maybe at the cost of seeming real.

Oh lawd Ava that Cancer/Libra combo... WOOOOOO BOY I knew a Libra rising/Libra Sun/Cancer Moon girl once and she was the fakest broad on the block. Yet I didn't realize this for YEARS because that's how masterful her facade was. I completely forgot about her. Now I'm kinda seeing Meghan in a whole new light. Of course there are plenty of awesome Libra/Cancer blended folks but yeah they love themselves a good performance, absolutely. Funnily enough her bf was a Capricorn Sun and I believe Caps have a very high tolerance in order humor this sort of behavior, and let them shine they way they need to.

Hahaha that's amazing (re: the family wedding), I honestly envy that quality. I'm the kind of person that withers under meanness so there are some cardinal lessons of self-esteem to be learned from people like this

Perhaps I should have made the title more royal-centric? Here's Meghan and Kate's synastry So in theory it sounds good on paper.. Meghan is a Leo Sun/Cancer Rising Kate is a Leo Rising/Cancer Moon Then Kate is a Capricorn Meghan has a Moon/Saturn conjunction But.. yikes? That Moon/Mars double whammy looks positively catty. Then all of Meghan's Leo falling into Kate's 12th looks like Kate will never fully trust Meghan, and might feel as if Meghan is actively undermining Kate's position (whether true or not). This is probably enhanced by the fact that Meghan's Pluto is square Kate's Sun. Mercury opp. Mercury could be their cultural differences - Meghan is a brassy, working class Angeleno (Los Angeles native) and Kate is a typical English rose from quasi-nobility. With Kate's Mars on Meghan's IC, Meghan could feel that Kate lords over her in obnoxious ways. Lots of cardinal energy to be sure. It's also crazy (or maybe not?) that they're both nodal types. Both propelled into this fate by mere chance. Hundreds of years of monarchy and they both come to age in a time where it's finally okay for princes to marry "commoners". They have billions of girls to choose from and they chose them, Kate the ever intuitive Moon-NN and Meghan the right-place-at-the-right-time rockstar Sun-Mercury-NN.
