Isn't it funny? Of all the planets that could have died, so far it's only been the one associated with death. www.astro.com/astro-databank/Celestial:_Pluto_DiscoveryPluto lived from Feb 18, 1930 - Aug 24, 2006. Maybe the people who named it were dubious about its credentials as a planet, and they were predicting its eventual demise right from the start? When Pluto was born (inner ring), the sun was entering Pisces and opposing Neptune, pretty psychic. Then Pluto died with the sun transiting its natal Neptune. lumina , it looks like Pluto literally didn't want to cross you. It shrank in stature just as it was approaching you. lol

lumina , I've been confused about when you joined LL so thanks for clarifying. For some reason I thought we may have joined close in time (I signed up July 2011). Sept 2006 was an exceptionally hard month for me, with three major stressors all at once. Well I guess Pluto's death chart up there is a sort of reincarnation chart (death as a planet, birth as a dwarf planet) though I'm just being silly and thinking of Scorpio's phoenix theme. The discovery chart is actually so intriguing, with Cancer Pluto trine Scorpio moon on the south node, exalted Pisces Venus sextile Taurus NN. Mercury-Mars-Lilith in Aquarius more or less squaring the nodal axis. Scorpio moon-SN could be rather insular, keeping to oneself, but to find love and beauty in the outside world (Taurus NN) one needs to "say what you need to say" even if it's a little harsh? It's fun to realize my Mercury is conjunct Pluto's. Gives it some free "street cred." Like hey man I am not just talking, I am practically channeling Pluto here. Just kidding..
