Experiences?
---
Uranus is currently transiting exactly on my SN @ 20 Taurus.
My mother's Uranus was on my south node. A few weeks ago a distant relative sent me a recipe that my mother had sent to her mother, from our great aunt. Being able to cook a new recipe linked to my mother over 30 years after her passing is quite a nice surprise.
Because it's Taurus, and I cook a lot, I am associating this transit with cooking and the kitchen. My desk is in the kitchen, in front of a window that faces east; for the most part there are the trees and a fence lining the property. A few days ago an exceptionally large bird flew low over the driveway into that wooded area. At first I thought it was a hawk, but later we realized there were vultures around. A deer had died under those trees, not on our property but the neighbors'. Even the vultures left the carcass and now it smells horrible outside so I want to keep the windows closed.
Then last night part of my dishwasher broke off and melted on the heating element, so I opened the dishwasher door to a very toxic environment that burned my eyes. That's never happened before. The vent fan can only help so much...we've had to keep the windows open. But I just said I need them closed. lol
I think we'll just spend more time outside, away from the house altogether. Maybe that's the lesson here. Circumstances seem to be driving us out.

Transiting Uranus was squaring my nodes on 9-11. Other events in that time period were unusual beyond the wildest dreams of what I expected from life just a few years before that.
---
Neptune @ 18 Aqua on my solar return 2007 (squaring my mean nodes) and my father died the next day.
Neptune @ 20 Aqua in my solar return for 2008 and I had one of my sons this year. Amazing child, really difficult year though.

For my own reference, looking ahead: My solar return for 2030 features a fixed t-square on my nodes: 21 Scorpio, transiting Jupiter 18 Taurus, transiting Saturn 18 Aqua, transiting Mars I'll have a partile, progressed new moon @ 10 Pisces at this time. --- Sept 27 2031 Third nodal return (true), transiting nodes square transiting Venus @ 20 Leo exactly, with transiting Chiron @ 20 Taurus on the south node. My pr Mercury 19 Aqua. Nodes semisextile tr Mars-Jupiter @ 21 Sag --- Feb 11 2032 13 Scorpio, tr true node 13 Aqua, tr Aqua Pluto 13 Aries, tr Neptune My pr true NN @ 14 Scorpio 21 Aqua, transiting sun 21 Aqua, my draconic Pluto

Ava definitely an interesting thing to watch and investigate. outer planet conjunct or square the nodes will probably have a major impact, whatever it may be. It probably is different fro each of us. Well for me for example, I never have an outer planet transit just my nodal axis, but since the Neptune-jupiter-square is tied so tightly to it (at most 1 degree orb), any of those outer planets will activeate Neptune-Jupiter-as well. For example when Tr Neptune was square my Node, it was also conjunct Jupiter as well, which I think might have modified its manifestation. Actually I had that happening throughout the year of 2016 (and leading into 2017), Tr Neptune conjunct Jupiter and square NN and Neptune itself. It was when the developments happened leading to the first workshops I would visit. Also, for the saddening factor, the mother of my best friend died in spring (why do all people seem to die in spring? at least people that I know? Most funerals I have been on, the sun was shining brightly), but while it was a shock, it also triggered and pushed me or nudged me to actually getting more out of my comfort zone, do stuff I wanted to, etc., follow my, mayb enot dreams, but the opportunities to do something new or different that just opened up. This was true in terms of communicating as well as short trips, workshops etc. (well Jupiter is in my 3rd house, and it disposits the NN of course). So yeah there was that.

your experience, in the first post, seems very Uranian, but there is also something else, maybe osme Pluto-Neptune-stuff? More Pluto I guess, with the vultures and the carcasses and death and so on. But then again your NN is in Scorpio, so maybe that is the Pluto factor already.

Wow, thanks for sharing that, lumina. Very interesting how it all comes together. Also, we both experienced a loss with tr Neptune square nodes. Lost something and gained something, I should say. Well to me deep losses almost feel like being in a new world, so there are adaptations to be made, to survive and explore that new world. For me, transiting nodes were also squaring my nodes around that time. Something about it was surreal. More Pluto I guess, with the vultures and the carcasses and death and so on. But then again your NN is in Scorpio, so maybe that is the Pluto factor already. Yes, that's what I was thinking. Honestly I really don't remember ever seeing a vulture here before. One was perched on my husband's workshop for a while, very tall and pitch black, and I thought that alone makes a good symbol for the transit. lol
