Because the eclipse is at an anaretic degree, and in Aries, and just to be redundant, because it's an eclipse, the readings and predictions about this one are tending towards extremes. I'd rather start with a more grounded approach from a trusted astrologer here: cafeastrology.com/events/new-moon-solar-eclipse-april-20-2023/That all looks manageable. I do think the draconic eclipse's conjunction to Neptune in Pisces matches the limitations implied with the 29th degree. (You can go no further than Pisces before restarting, you can go no further than 29° before restarting.) So what do you do, when you're at the end? Aren't we almost forced to expand our awareness of what can be done? Imgur doesn't let me edit/shrink charts anymore, so pardon the size here:

Ava Been thinking about this today, or actually just dawned on me today that we are approaching a Solar eclipse this week. It`s opposing my Uranus on 1°21 Scorpio, if that counts, but I think it does. Hmmm. Not sure what to think about this.

also interestingly while it is an anaretic degree eclipse it is also a NORTH Node eclipse. The ending being part of the new beginning?

Ava , thanks for the link. it generally sounds very encouraging in personal terms - "We might take steps towards self-mastery and self-empowerment by tackling things that undermine us." Many of us, indeed I, could well do with putting an end to self-sabotaging behaviour. The anaretic degree is strongly represented in my chart.. 28 Pluto trines 29 Aries Neptune at 28 and Sun at 1.35 degrees oppose 29 Aries. So, fingers crossed.

Everything is cyclical... major endings and culminations (Pisces) are always followed by new beginnings (Aries). Whether they're solar or lunar, eclipses have the potential to bring both, at least in my experience. One thing's certain: there's bound to be some sort of shift, perhaps even a drastic change, if we stick to very basic symbolism. You're absolutely right, Ava, that these themes are even further reinforced by the anaretic degree. It makes it feel like there's a lot of urgency and even a potential crisis looming, hence the extreme interpretations. Well, we can only wait and see how much of it applies on an individual basis, keeping in mind that there may be a "delayed effect" as mentioned in the article. For me, personally, the eclipse conjuncts my natal Jupiter within 2°. I'd prefer an even tighter orb, but I won't complain.

The tropical Asc in Sag is exactly conjunct Part of Fortune, and its ruler Jupiter is conjunct the new moon. With draconic Pluto bearing down on that Asc and draconic Saturn on tropical Pluto, it seems like the transformation, if any, must be a positive one. Dismantling of long-standing, 'comfortable' patterns (Saturn) to start a new chapter that is itself precarious (anaretic degree new moon) and seems like a leap into the unknown. It's the very last degree, what happens after? There is less visibility into the 'new chapter' if the beginning itself is a little further ahead (0° Taurus, NN in Taurus). The draconic Sun-Moon on tropical Neptune also seems to convey that this beginning is a bit obscure, hard to grasp. It will become clear in due course of time(?)
On a personal note, that Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius mirrors my current transits. The new moon is on my Mars and NN on my mercury.

Well this is always the case when there is a New Moon, however there obviously won´t always be the dispositor conjunct the New Moon, albeit it`s pretty wide in this case.
I noticed though that the Sun and Moon are conjunct the Jupiter/Node-mp, it might be another nudge into the Jupiter-direction.

I've been feeling upbeat and positive, generally, which could be the effect of the eclipse or the fact it's stopped raining and the sun is shining today. Problems have been halved, as it were. Whatever it is, I hope it continues.

Two aquaintances mentioned today that each of them had a death occurring in the family in the past week, though in both cases it did not come as a surprise, but it fits what they say about eclipses. Esp. on an anaretic degree.
Also me, and some other people, been receiving friends request on fb from a profile that was obviously a fake profile and pretending to be someone else. I reported it to fb, and of course, like expected fb did not think it was any violation of their guidelines (I suppose it is totally legal pretending to be somebody else? Isn?t identity theft a crime?).
Anyway I mentioned that rather publicly in a group. warning others to not fall for that (as I had seen that two fb friends did fall for that already).
Well somebody else also reported that profile and got the same answer as I did, but I know that many of the others got the same thing and did probably report the profile too, and by now it is nowwhere to be found, however it miraculously vanished. No clue if we are just too stupid to find it anymore, or the person was taking it down themselves, not succeeding the way they thought they would, or if actually fb took it down after all.
The important thing is it is gone.
