A few points: 1. This came up in a recent Kepler College video, towards the end: 2. More on minor progressions: www.astro.com/astrology/tma_article201214_e.htm3. Astro.com calculates these, just choose "Tertiary Progressions II (minor progressions)" for the chart type. 4. This looks good: Progression Theory - Robert Blaschke

Ava thank you. Yes I remember Blashke talking about the differences (as he saw them at least) of tertiary and minor progressions (I think tertiary for emotional stuff, minor for things taken place in the mental sphere, I am not completely sold on that theory though, but definitely interesting concept, worth exploring a bit further).

Ava sorry i was on my phone and on the bus, so was not paying enough attention I guess. Well still reeling, from the few minor progressed things I saw (and I just checked three or four, and each was like knocking the air out of my lungs. lol)

^ That's cool, lumina. Ava thank you. I'm new to this but agree so far - it's interesting, but is it true? He talks about a vertical process where thoughts become emotions and emotions become the body. So that's a top-down process. I'm not finished the lecture but thinking of how it also works in reverse: the body affects the emotions, which in turn feed the thoughts. (Simplistically: food affects mood, mood affects mentality.)

@ Around 21:00 in the Blashke lecture:
"And so one way to understand the value of working with the subtle progression calculations is, you can advise clients before things become physical that they have an eclipse coming up in their tertiary progressions or their minor progressions, and if they become conscious of that, they can work with those energies better than if they don't."
First chart I checked to test the value of minor progressions had an eclipse. Of course I tested that particular event, because it blew my mind.
---
Curiously my tertiary progressed chart now is only one day off from the same date (and same year) as my minor progressed chart when I got together with my husband.
Minor moves about twice as fast as tertiary, and that was about half my lifetime ago.

Excerpt: Curiously my husband and I are in synchronized eclipse cycles, with his minor solar eclipses occurring about three weeks before mine. We have a significant age difference, that's why it's curious. Also they are sometimes in the same sign; such will be the case for us in 2024 when we both have minor solar eclipses in Leo. I think this intensifies the effects of the eclipses. Of course, eclipses always come in a set of two or three; in minor progressions those are about six months apart.

Ava yes those synchronized cycles are intriguing. Don´t you also have Nodes-conjunction?

btw Ava my next Solar Eclipse in the minors will happen on your birthday in 2031 (the solar eclipse in my minor chart will be on 7 Pisces). The last set of eclipses happened in 2018/ 2019, makes sense.

The last set of eclipses happened in 2018/ 2019, makes sense. Actually you skipped the 2025 set, and this is crazy, you and I have matching eclipses, too! I have a minor eclipse near my birthday in 2025 (still in effect on my birthday, lunar eclipse with moon @ 13 Pisces) and yours is two weeks after that, LE with moon @ 24 Pisces. However that was the second of my set, and it's the first of yours. You've got a minor SE @ 8 Libra on 14 August that year. cafeastrology.com/eclipsessolarlunar.htmlYes my nodes are conjunct my husband's. Well he's a nodal cycle older than me (18ish years) and the minor eclipse cycle is 6ish years, but I know it's more complicated than that. I just don't feel like thinking and calculating. I've got no guarantee I'll figure it out even if I tinker with it. Btw if anyone cares, the minor progressed moon moves about 1° per day.

Also found it curious that when I was born, my father's minor progressed sun was exactly conjunct transiting Saturn (and the Universe said, "Here you go, have a Capricorn"), semisquare his minor Venus exactly conjunct transiting Mars.

(the solar eclipse in my minor chart will be on 7 Pisces). Since I'm a year younger than you I already went through that eclipse. The article says these solar eclipses have a lasting effect. Draconic version @ 20 Virgo. It went into effect for me in late December, 2017.

First of all amazing with our matching eclipses!
Secondly the Lunar Eclipse taking place in january for me, the solar one in August (bringing Minor pr Mercury along and falling right onto my natal Pluto).
These are like bracketing my pr Sun conjunct n Moon and pr Moon conjunct n Sun, happening within a couple of days of each other (the exactness, obviously they span a longer time than just that moment in time) in april.

P will have a total solar eclipse in his chart the year after, in june 2026 on 19 Gemini, NN on 25 Gemini. His recent lunar eclipse happened in summer 2020. I think on around 8 Capricorn.
R actually will have a lunar eclipse in august 2026, on 5 Taurus, with Sun being exactly conjunct Pluto as well.
