Experiences?

So far I've only had the progressed sun and moon squaring my progressed nodes. Every adult has experienced this with the moon, because the progressed moon goes around the zodiac every 29 years or so.

Here are my highlights - always using true node. My natal NN 20.00 Scorpio.

1. Pr sun in Aqua (Aug 29, 2006)

16.57 Scorpio, pr NN
16.57 Aqua, pr sun
17.56 Aqua, tr Neptune, Rx
17.35 Leo, tr Saturn

* My father was dying and for many reasons I would say this was basically the worst year of my life, sorry to be a downer, and I know it's not like that for everyone!

2. Pr moon in Leo #1 (Nov 5, 1987)

16.34 Leo, pr ASC (rectified)

* I don't remember this at all, but around that age, I guess it was the first time I had a shred of self-confidence apart from academics.

3. Pr moon in Aquarius (Nov 17, 2000)

* This was just before my mother-in-law fell ill, sorry to be a downer again.

I have some sad memories of this Thanksgiving. We planned a first birthday party for my oldest son, but my parents-in-law couldn't attend. She died two months later. These were all-around strange and difficult times. I was learning a lot, though.

4. Pr moon in Leo #2 (January 23, 2015)

* Tr NN @ 12 Libra was applying to my Pluto and tr Pluto @ 13 Cap was applying to my sun. I don't remember what I was up to, but around this time we had some tragic environmental pollution at our country property which made me livid, and around that time I was calling government agencies to protest, even meeting with an EPA representative, and considering legal action until I learned it was hopeless. This was the year we decided to sell that place (fortunately the pollution stopped before we put it up for sale.)

At the same time there were looming threats from gas drilling in the area. We'd heard nightmares of people in nearby counties having their wells destroyed by fracking. This is all very Taurus south node in my opinion: wanting to keep our little Eden and standing with the liberals in our area who were protesting (much to the surprise of our conservative friends). My husband's nodes are conjunct mine and we saw eye-to-eye on this matter.

Transiting Saturn was conjunct my Venus then. That fits. My beautiful world was under siege.

There's more to it that I recall, but I guess it was a more introspective (Plutonian) process.

Later this decade, if I live that long, I will have the progressed moon, Mercury, and Venus in Aquarius squaring my nodes one by one. I'm kind of excited because they will form a stellium, kind of just bracing myself because Pluto will get involved. Like I need that.

Kind of strange to have Mercury as my progressed chart ruler, with Jupiter on the ASC in Virgo at that time. Pr DSC conjunct my moon with a few minutes orb.

3. Pr Venus in Aqua (May 24, 2031)

Highly significant because Venus rules my south node, Pluto (and traditionally Mars) rule my NN, Uranus rules pr Venus....

Re: sun square nodes

YouTube just recommended for me a reading between psychic medium Tyler Henry and Carmen Elektra. She had a really bad year where her mother died and then her sister passed two weeks later of unknown causes. Her natal chart has sun square nodes exact @ 0 Taurus/Aqua respectively. Maybe that explains something...it's a rare kind of hardship.

Her progressed chart for the month she endured these losses doesn't seem particularly bad, except pr moon in Cancer is applying to a square with pr Uranus which is the chart ruler. A few months later she suddenly married and divorced.

Well I am sorry about the hardships you experienced; I haven`t gone too deep into research, but it seems it was different for my parents and also me. not going too deep as I said, however

my Mom had pr Sun square pr Nodes exact when my youngest brother was born; a couple of months later pr Moon joined pr Sun to square the pr Nodes (the pr New Moon on 6 Sag, pr Nodes on 5 Pisces). 

a month or two before that said brother was born, my Dad had pr Moon no 7 Cancer square his pr Node on 7 Aries (near the pr DESC). 

Well it was a pretty happy timeframe I think so at least, for them for sure. It was after building or renovating the house and moving here (1980) and them being consolidated and having settled into living with my grandparents under the same roof (which was demanding some adaptability esp. on my mothers part) and before my paternal grandfather fell sick and then died (1989); but in the midst of it, around the time my brother was born, it was a relatively carefree period I think. 


Well I saw that P was having pr Moon on 00 Sag square pr Node on 29 Leo/ 00 Virgo when he a) landed the role that started his career for real and b) met his former girlfriend, he has been with for several years (and according to his own words from very long ago, was just "struck by Cupid`s arrow," )


I was having pr Moon opposite pr Nodes in spring 2011 (pr Moon in Gemini), which was shortly before I left for London for maybe the most memorable and emotional London trip of them all. If I think back and crave the "London-feeling", it is mostly that trip that is on my mind.
It was followed by some more memorable show-visits and events, though at the end of 2011 I got paranoid, but by then the pr Moon was long gone from my pr Node)


Then in spring or so 2017 I was having pr Moon in Virgo squaring pr Node), and well another London-trip. lol But 2017 was one of the most busiest and also happiest years in my life, exhilarating really. So many trips, and spontaneous decisions and workshops and meeting people (mostly artists) and of course the first year as an aunt was really something very special. 


Hmm there was also pr Moon in Pisces square pr Nodes in 2004, important year. the last year as a teacher in training with my upcoming exam; theatrical visits (as one my fellow teachers in training was doing amateur theatre), got inspired to read a lot of Tenessee Williams (don´t ask me, I jsut saw the play and then had to read some more too. lol)
Well that was the good stuff. There was difficult stuff too, onesided crushes and the likes, you know the drill. lol 

I am kind of curious now how pr Moon on my pr NN will be like then. which I will have next year or so I think. 



Well and then of course in 2024, there will be pr Venus on 7 Pisces square pr Node on 7 Sag (exact on my natal ASC), that could be interesting too. For better or worse I suppose. This will of course also be relevant in 2025 when pr Venus will be squaring my natal Node on 10 Sag.

I'm trying to think of how the squares might manifest differently according to the signs and house placements. I don't want to just say Scorpio NN sucks. But who can blame me for suspecting as much?

Is there anything else to indicate this would be a year of giving birth? Well obviously, expanding (Sag theme) the family.

That's all so Mercury: busy, traveling, hustle-bustle, meeting people.

Not me. I was having the same thought how it might be different having Scorpio NN as having Sag or even Pisces or Aries, but then I thought, I cannot think in such a "cliche" way. There must be other things playing into this.

Well Tr Node on 1 Cancer moving backwards to oppose Chiron on 29 Sag and square Moon on 28 Virgo. The Node-Moon-link is a no-brainer I guess, however Chiron makes sense too, as she was very worried and concerned about my brother`s health shortly before he was being born and after (everything was fine though). 


Tr Saturn conjunct Sun in the 5th house (the SR also had a Sun-Venus-conjunction there). 

pr Venus conjunct pr and n Neptune - no clue how that relates to birth, but it took place in her 5th house

sa Venus conjunct n Neptune was even tighter (just 3 minutes of arc)



Maybe the Solar REturn was the most telling, with SR Node on 6 Cancer exactly square natal Jupiter on 6 Aries (on my Dad`s natal NN). 

SR Sun and SR Venus on 3 and 1 Scorpio in SR 11th/ natal 5th house; SR Moon on 29 Aqua would be progressing into a trine to Sun about 4 months later (around the time my brother was born it might have been exact). 

There was also SR Mercury conjunct n Neptun eon 19 Libra in SR 11th / n 5th house (same degree as the pr Venus-Neptune-conjunction). plus SR Saturn conjunct SR Pluto on 26-27 Libra, not sure how that relates though. 


Yeah I have been right about the pr SR Moon. 

At the day of my brother`s birth: 

her pr SR Moon: 3°42 Pisces
her SR Sun: 3°55 Scorpio

her Sr Uranus: 3°02 Sag 
(and my brother has a Moon-Uranus-(Jupiter)-conjunction in Sag in his natal chart squaring his Pisces Sun. Strange how that matches).

Well maybe it is not the same, but we actually have had that in progression in recent years. my pr Venus conjunct his SN and his pr Venus square my nodal axis. 

Though having said that, when my pr Venus will be square my nodal axis it ALSO means it will be conjunct my natal Jupiter and square my natal Neptune, so any progression involving my natal Nodes will by default have that Jupiter-Neptune-square-activation (and mutual reception of course).
