In another thread I put across the theory that alignments between the sun, Saturn, and nodes can lead to reconnections.
Maybe that's wrong but I'm just looking for indications that it's right. After all, it takes mental effort to come up with theories, true or false. So I prefer they turn out true.
Yesterday I had lunch with my best friend, haven't seen her since last May. She picked the date. We drove around our old neighborhood and I showed her my first home in another town (thought I must have shown her several times before, but I didn't.) All very rootsy.
Transits then:
25 Taurus, transiting NN 25 Taurus, my draconic sun 14 Cap, transiting draconic sun 15 Cap, my sun 15 Cap, her draconic Saturn

Sun Saturn - illuminating the past It's interesting she picked up the date (her being draco Saturn) I think this is a great theory, I will try and find some reconnections too and check that

Thanks LeeLoo , I appreciate it. That's a good point about Saturn illuminating the past. I wonder if the nodes might? They move backwards, after all. (And then by extension, draconic might have a retrospective quality?) So far I've seen some other examples: 1. Transiting NN conjunct one person's sun-Saturn, tightly square comp nodes (with tr Saturn applying to their draco sun); tr draco sun conjunct comp sun-NN, square comp Saturn (all at once) 2. Transiting NN conjunct composite Saturn, < 1° with tr sun applying to tr NN 3. Transiting new moon conjunct Saturn squaring composite nodes 4. That same new moon-Saturn opp composite Saturn, with tr NN conjunct comp sun And I wonder about the upcoming lunar eclipse on May 16th: 25 Taurus sun opp moon 22 Taurus NN 24 Aqua Saturn Might be pivotal for individuals/couples with planets in that degree range. Pls don't quote

I like the new moon connection, for it is like starting a new time cycle Moon is also a luminary, so I would expect it to illuminate the past, maybe in a more emotional manner? I usually noticed there are turning points in relationships around the full moon, moments when emotions are very high, reach a peak and there are confrontations which lead to illumination, for good or bad. I expect the nodes activity (transits) to have a similar potential, and when touched by Saturn, to be about the past (reunions). It's also interesting to consider a connection between retrograde principle (which also brings people from our past) and retrospective energy such as draco, although it feels like draco to be more about "the long life", past lives and future lives, and more karmic. I look at SN as something that we are very familiar with, that flows naturally with us, something "inherited", second nature which, on our path towards the NN, we take with us but we must also discern and decant, allowing us to integrate two opposites (the SN and the NN). SN is surely about the past.

Thanks for your insights LeeLoo . I see things in much the same way, but I appreciate how you tie it all together there, conceptually. In this scheme, I wonder if new moon events portend more...the beginning of a cycle, as you said. === I have another new example: woke up this morning to an email from my childhood friend. She wrote me a regular letter last month, and I replied, but I don't have definitive times for when she composed the letter, and I forget when I received it, and so on. Haven't gotten an email from her in over a decade, and it's nice to now exchange pics and see each other. Transits today 17 Pisces, transiting sun 17 Pisces, our composite sun 17 Virgo, her draconic sun 27 Scorpio, our draconic composite Saturn 25 Scorpio, our composite NN 25 Taurus, transiting NN 25 Taurus, my draconic sun 21 Cancer, our draconic composite sun 22 Cancer, our composite Saturn 23 Capricorn, transiting draconic sun 22 Capricorn, our draconic composite Venus And straightforwardly: 20 Taurus, my SN 18 Taurus, her sun 19 Aqua, transiting Saturn

Shortly after I bumped this thread yesterday, this topic came up for me:
My friend (A) having issues with someone (B) and asked me to look at charts. 1. A's sun is exactly their own draco IC, exactly conjunct B's draco Saturn, exactly square B's tropical sun
2. A's draco Saturn is tightly conjunct B's draco sun, on B's tropical MC (so there is a kind of sun-Saturn double whammy hitting each person's angles)
3. Re #2, all of this tightly or exactly squares composite NN-Karma
Speaking of "reconnection" --
Looks like this is a past life connection (?)

AvaYes I think WE do...get along. Lol Wow too about your Dr Saturn, curiously never registered with me before. But I think anything from the Dracos conjunct the Nodes might be very signifikant, and Saturn IS Major. Well P has Draco Chiron at 8 Sag, so in beteeen my Mars- ASC and Neptune - Node. Not a clue what's that about. Well IT makes a grand trine with my Draco Chiron on 9 Leo and His Draco Mars-Jupiter on 9-8 Aries.

I don't know when we "met" lumina but I know that I signed up at that other forum in 2011 with these transits: 23 Sag NN conjunct your sun, separating 15-ish Cancer sun opp my sun, square Saturn 10 Libra 17 Cap draconic Saturn on my sun

^ It does. Well my current transits are applicable to my hypothesis here, about reconnections. And it's not that often I hear from someone I haven't heard from in years. But last night an old friend contacted me...we haven't spoken in about five years. Tr sun conjunct my Saturn (1° applying) Tr NN conjunct my SN exact Tr draco sun opp my draco Saturn, < 2° applying. I don't know her birth details. I didn't tell most of my friends up in the country that I'm into astrology and did not ask for birthdays. Some I learned just from being around, some I didn't.

Random curiosity I just looked up my minor progressions for the first time, and Saturn is right on the north node (9-10 Virgo), exactly conjunct the transiting sun (9-10 Virgo today). Nothing exciting yet. I mean it IS Saturn in Virgo . Edit: Well I covered a lot of area, studying astrology today. I learned that next summer when the sun transits on my Saturn (@ 0 Leo), it will form a t-square with Pluto and the NN. That's rich. July 23, 2023 transits: 0 Leo sun (conjunct transiting draconic Venus @ 29 Cancer Rx) 29 Aries NN 29 Cap Pluto Draconic Venus is not only Rx but the apex of a yod with tr draco Neptune @ 28 Aqua and tr draco Pluto @ 0 Cap. Edit #2 Recording with this transiting Saturn exactly squaring my true nodes, btw.

Don't mind me
Queen Elizabeth and King Charles have a sun-Saturn-NN grand trine in composite.
11 Aqua sun 13 Gemini NN 14 Libra Saturn
In draconic
0 Aries NN of course 2 Leo Saturn 28 Scorpio sun
Transiting draconic sun today @ 0 Leo.
0 Leo tr draco sun 0 Leo, King Charles' natal draconic Saturn 4 Leo, Queen Elizabeth's natal draconic Saturn
Tr draco sun squaring the Queen's sun (0 Taurus), the King's moon (0 Taurus), and King's pr NN (0 Taurus, mean node). Tr draco sun conjunct composite Pluto 29.38 Cancer.
The Queen's pr sun @ 2 Leo exactly conjunct draconic composite Saturn with her son. Upcoming full moon in Pisces, when converted to draconic, features the sun @ 2 Leo (moon @ 2 Aqua of course).
More:
1. King Charles' natal ASC @ 5 Leo, conjunct his mother's 4 Leo draco Saturn, squaring his 4.58 Taurus NN (true) 2. So his chart ruler is the sun which is conjunct his mother's Scorpio Saturn-MC (square transiting Aqua Saturn) 3. His sun and her Saturn-MC trine her Cancer NN-DSC; her sun trine his 5 Virgo Saturn. 4. Transiting sun-NN trine echoes their composite and synastric sun-NN trine, and I think that bodes well for a smooth transition.
I don't know what to make of Mercury stationing Rx close to their composite Saturn. I don't know how long it takes to arrange a coronation but I wonder when that will occur.

From what I gather the moon went void shortly before the Queen died and will stay there until tomorrow. That's the longest void moon I can remember.
"The void Moon occurs from 8:35 AM EDT, with the Moon's last aspect before changing signs (a conjunction to Saturn), until the Moon enters Pisces the next day, Friday, September 9th, at 12:44 AM EDT." (Cafeastrology)
