Starting point or idea giver was this quote here:
""A solar arc direction stays in effect for two years – a year applying and a year separating from exact contact. It will manifest the most when there is a transit of significance over the solar arc contact or over the natal position of the planet that has moved to make the contact. Furthermore, as mentioned before, the planets involved also bring their midpoint structures with them."
Devine, Carole. Solar Arc Directions: How to Read Life's Roadmap (S.92). Bronwyn Editions. Kindle-Version.
So I`d thought I will go over some examples to see if there is something to it. (Obviously I think that the synastric aspects made by solar arc to natal planets are very evident, even though astrologers often disagree with that but well, plainly stated, they are wrong and their arguments aren`t convincing to me).
But I was curious about the composites, yet wasn`t in the mood to juggle with minutes of orb, so just checking for the exact degree and one degree before or after, aware that this obviously can relate to a longer timespan (up to 3 years approximately); however the transits would make it more specific in time.

Looked up my parents for the time of their wedding and also when they became grandparents, will narrow it down to the most central of upcoming aspects.
Marriage
1) sa DESC conjunct c-Jupiter on 9 Pisces in 8th house (of the composite), Jupiter rules the 5th (my mom was 3 months pregnant with me actually, but that was not the reason for the wedding taking place, they had decided to get married before that)
Tr Juno 9 Pisces
- the widest orb is here 3 minutes!!!! the sa DESC conjunct c-Jupiter was exact with 0°00
their composite also has a Grand trine of Jupiter (9 Pisces), Juno (8 Scorpio), Uranus (7 Cancer)
Additionally my Dad`s sa Venus had arced to 9 Pisces, also conjunct my Mom`s natal NN on 8 Pisces and her natal MC on 10 Pisces
interestingly Tr Neptune was on 8 Sag, which in my mind is not the thing you want to find, transiting Neptune in a square, but there was this mutual reception there, and possibly the time around the marriage was perhaps a little surreal, maybe also confusing (there were some things that were apparently not very satisfying to my mother, which had more to do with external influences than the fact of getting married). Also their marriage would involve sacrifices, now every marriage that lasts longer than a couple of months, involves sacrifices of course, but in their case this included a lot of caring and nursing of other people, including my brother who has the Down syndrome (which in itself is already very Uranian/ Neptunian symbolism), but also nursing my grandparents in their later years, and both grandfathers died in our home.
2) sa Juno conjunct n Venus: 2-1 Sag in 4th house, Venus also rules the 4th sa Jupiter trine n Venus: 2 Aries - 1 Sag sa Uranus trine n Venus: 1 Leo - 1 Sag
Tr Sun: 2 Gemini (in 10th house of the composite, actually this is at the end of the 10th/ 4th house, pretty close to 5th house cusp=
So basically that means that their Jupiter-Juno-Uranus-Grand trine had arced to composite Venus
Pretty selfexplanatory
Another thing I noticed, was that my Mom`s sa DESC on 5 Aqua and her sa Uranus on 6 Leo, had arced to trigger my Dad`s natal Sun on 5 Aqua, I mean her sa DESC on his natal Sun; his sa Venus on her natal MC (and NN), is pretty telling in itself
For anyone surprised at the Uranian factor, they are both having a relatively strong Uranus inbuilt in their charts, my Mom has Uranus conjunct her ASC and possibly she is even more strongly Uranian than him, despite his Stellium in Aquarius, (funny enough he has Saturn on his ASC, and his chartruler in Capricorn trine that Saturn-ASC).
their composite has a wide Moon-Uranus-conjunction (Moon 14 Cancer - Uranus 7 Cancer), and well Uranus being part of the tight Grand trine putting Juno on the Jupiter/Uranus-mp.
3)
sa Sun opposite composite Moon: 13 Cap - 14 Cancer Tr Jupiter 14 Pisces
this fullmoon would be getting closer obviously, and probably was exact somewhen around my birth or in the months following.

I only see "partner progressions" there, under solar arc, for partners. It looks no different from the regular secondary-progressed composite, and it should be, right? The solar arc progression for my own chart, looks different from my secondary progressed chart. Moon in Cancer, versus Moon in Aquarius (SP). This is the secondary progressed composite that also came up under the solar arc section: i.imgur.com/ydwWte2.pngAnd this is my Solar Arc chart, which is decidedly different from the SP chart. i.imgur.com/GFY5o04.pngI feel like the composite should look different, too.

Yes, there is no option on astro.com for doing solar arc of composites. Either you use a software than can do it like solar fire, or you have to do it manually (you do the solar arc chart for each person for the same timeframe, and then do a composite of those, calculating the midpoints of each person`s solar arc planets for the given time). I agree it is a little timeintense if you do not have a software.
BTW solar arcs are not progressions, but they are directions. Progressions are calculated very differently and yes except for the Sun which is the same as pr Sun, the solar arc directed positions would look different in most cases and often VERY different.

The neat thing about solar arcs is, that once you have calculated the solar arc composite for a certain time, you can estimate the future quite well, as solar arc planets always move 5 minutes each month, or 1 degree each year.

BTW anela , are you sure the progressed chart and solar arc chart you showed are for the same timeframe? If so, there seems to be something wrong, as the pr Sun and sa Sun is the same for any time. Only the other planets differ.

when they became grandparents
1) SA Mars (2 Sag) and SA SN (00 Sag) conjunct c-Venus (1 sag) Tr Mars (0 Sag)
- lots of new beginning vibe, plus Mars and Venus rule their MC and IC in their composite
2) sa Neptune (24 Sag) conjunct composite Chiron (23 Sag) in 5th sa Neptune square Node (24 Pisces) in 8th
Tr Chiron (24 Pisces) Tr Uranus (24 Aries)
- I do view Chiron oftentimes as symbolic of anchestry and family heritage-experiences, fits.
3) sa Juno (14 Cap) opposite composite Moon (14 Cancer): 0°00 orb Tr Pluto 15 Cap
some interesting transits to solar arc positions, without aspecting natals too, like
Tr Jupiter (22 Virgo) conjunct sa Moon (21 Virgo) Tr NN (12 Virgo) conjunct sa Uranus (13 Virgo) Tr Saturn (9 Sag) square sa Jupiter (9 Pisces) and Tr Neptune on 11 Pisces, moving over the sa Jupiter as well.
