Yeah its turning direct today - this one has been quite annoying for me nothing life changing happened but still very annoying. During this mercury retro(maybe or maybe not be related to merc rx but happened during this period): - I tripped over a raised part of the pavement and hurt my foot, thankfully it wasn't serious just hurt a bit for a couple of days. You know the type where you trip and then make about 4 or 5 larges steps to stop yourself from falling - that happened then i fell against a wall at the end of it. It was in front of a row of houses so someone probably got entertained!! - A few minor mistakes at work that I wouldnt normally do that i picked up on in testing and fixed. - Ended up working really late one evening to deliver something as it was an important thing and no one looked at it for nearly a week because they were busy - Walking into the kitchen and not remember why i went there(lack of sleep ) - rescheduling appointments - people not replying to texts/mails - bought clothes that don't fit properly - bought ingredients to make nice pesto and i was all excited then put all the ingredients into the food blender and the thing wouldn't work - lateness things/skype/computer issues - A friend called me in the middle of the night and denied they did. I actually had to screen shot my phone and send it to them. They couldn't remember - i had put a deposit down for something during the last mercury retrograde but now something that suits better has come up so cancelled the previous thing - Saw a guy with those people carrying lawnmowers get stuck - Our washing machine decided to stop working - Got a taxi to the laundrette in a area im not too familiar with(should be 20 min walk from my place) and decided to walk back - found that i had no phone credit so couldn't use google maps or call a taxi. Then proceeded to walk home, noticing the signs i realised i was going in the wrong direction. - My OH had a work related meeting with some people on a certain day and i actually said "this either wont happen or people will cancel" - half the people made it. I didnt realise it was so many things haha.

vg wow that is a lot, and a weird thing with your friend. Some of the things you listed I encountered, too. Esp. the delay in communication, weird communication, delays, reschedules etc. Very weird. And then today, suddenly a lot of communication (workrelated) that had gotten "stuck", erupted all at once from seemingly nowwhere. Well just in time for some things.

Yeah lumina it was really strange. My friend really couldn't remember at all. Perhaps they had checked their phone during the night and called be by mistake - and couldn't remember it. Maybe they are a really deep sleeper. I remember once when I returned from a evening out and had forgotten my key I had knocked the door(had to knock a few times) which prompted OH to get out of bed to let me in and next day when i said sorry for waking him - he couldn't remember it at all. OH is a deeper sleeper if a wake him up he is really startled it's as if it takes him a few seconds to realise where he is. I notice that i do get mainly tech issues or appliance problems during mercury retro - it could be that i notice it more because of the type of work i do anyway(so im not only one facing the issues). My natal mercury is in my 11th in virgo. This retro happened mainly in my 8th house - had opposed my neptune/conjuncted my moon(which is in my 9th) at the start and now is square my natal mercury and conjunct my NN. With Neptune in the mix here i find it interesting that we had a washing machine issue but i seem to be prone to living in places over the past few years that have have had water problems anyway(leaks, washing machines etc).

vg , funny that you mention lack of sleep - something I am often plagued by. But I slept well last night and I hope that continues. Will take note of how this relates to Mercury movements.
Another thing Mercury retrogrades may have an effect on is how productive my readings for research are. One often goes through phases of poor progress - scattered reading and no insights. Will track that also.

Interesting thread - was Mercury Rx extra bad this time because it was in its home sign, and part of it happened during eclipse season? For my part - pets died of mysterious causes - car battery died of mysterious causes, it was relatively new, so we got a replacement under warranty - most of my family has a cold, which is weird, since we've gone over a year without colds...now it comes in SUMMER? - stuff that was supposed to arrive in the mail did not, stuff that wasn't supposed to arrive yet did - last day of Mercury Rx my cat knocked my alarm clock off the floor which turned it on and woke me up Mercury turning direct coincided with my son finally having the medical test done that he needed (which was mysteriously postponed). I'm also fearing my husband and daughter conspiring again to get another golden retriever puppy, or, as my husband said last night, "Two would be nice! " (Gemini Mercury, thinking of doubles?) Those are REALLY high-maintenance puppies, and I gasped and said "No!" He glared at me and said, "No one's on your side." LOL I don't know why I think that's funny. Yeah, theoretically two puppies are nice...in someone else's house. Pls don't quote

I'm sorry to hear about what you guys have been going through and it's somewhat reassuring that some are in a similar boat. FWIW we've had a sh*t time too and I wondered if it was due to this mercury business. R got confirmation of his maths GCSE equivalent a few weeks ago, sent it to teacher training providers and one of them has come back saying it's not equivalent now (like why when UK ENIC have said yes???) so he will have to take an equivalency test. The flipping exam costs £200 a time and he will also have to take English as we already knew...so what we have to pay £400 even though he has a master's degree in Maths? And he still might not get an offer of a placement even after all this... No job offers coming through yet either and we're down on money. I just can't quite believe how crap life has suddenly become. I feel like we are drowning and no one cares. We've worked so hard to try and create a nice normal life but everywhere we turn it's like we hit a wall. It sounds dramatic but I'm sick of living. Mercury can go and f itself...haha...

Ugh, good luck getting that situation turned around soon, FruityLlama. At least he does have the master's degree.
