I'm just trying to gather information and ideas. A while back my friend who is a counselor told me she thinks I am Enneagram 5, the Investigator. In case anyone else is a 5, I recommend this short and simple video (and this YouTuber, she seems good): I was trying to figure out how this appears in my chart and found this artlcle: The Enneagram is Astrology!www.philosopherswheel.com/enneagram.htmlAccording to the article, Ennegram 5 correlates with Uranus. Okay, I have Aqua Mercury square Uranus hitting my angles so no wonder this is evident to people. Now recently, another friend was talking about me in "Enneagram 5" terms; she was saying I know all these random facts...yeah I guess so. Thing is, whenever I've taken these tests, I'm never a number 5. I know I've been a 9 before, I think an 8, and most recently a 2. It seems to depend on my mood. I have a splash chart so I might be harder to pin down. Re: synastry - My friend who told me I seem like #5, her draconic sun is conjunct my Mercury and DSC. We both have Gemini Mars, conjunct, so my Mercury is standing out a lot with her. She is also draconic Aqua Mercury. Is she just more receptive to my Uranian side? - My friend who said I know random facts, her tropical sun is conjunct my Mercury. So maybe I seem like this to them, or it's something they themselves are more interested in...but I'm not sure it's who I am. I don't know how an enneagram expert would classify me. === I don't even know how to make this a question but anything pertaining to the title heading is welcome on this thread.

lumina - that article says 6 is associated with Saturn. So maybe it's your Cap Venus showing there? I just took the truity.com test and came up a 4. The romantic individualist. Matches Sag Venus-Neptune. Wild guess, maybe it's connected to our Venus signs? My friend who's a 2 (Caring) is a Cancer Venus. From the article I posted above, about Type 4: "Lost in self-destructive melancholy, they may feel exempt from society's rules and expectations. According to Flaut and Richards, Type Four is the "Individualist: sensitive, withdrawn, intuitive, artistic, aesthetic, self-absorbed, and depressive."" ^ Gross I don't want to be that.

I'm answering questions on a test, but some of the answers used to represent me, and don't anymore. I took the test about seven years ago, and think I was a 4/6, but I can't remember. I'll post an example soon.

The test told me that I'm a 6, and I did add more, but it was a vent, so I deleted it.
If my result highest total is five (this is next to the 6 in another column), does that mean I came out as a 6w5? I might try another test tomorrow, but they get on my nerves when they're too long. I almost didn't complete the one I just did, because it was repeating questions.

If my result highest total is five (this is next to the 6 in another column), does that mean I came out as a 6w5? I think so. Just took the two tests here. www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/testClassical enneagram test result: "You are most likely a type 5 or 9. Taking wings into account, you seem to be a 4w5 or 5w4" Then it says: "It is not clear from these test results which Enneagram type and wing you are. To determine your true type, you might want to start by considering the types with the highest scores on the lists below." My list: Type 9 - 7.7 Type 5 - 7.7 Type 2 - 7.4 Type 4 - 7.4 Type 1 - 5.4 Type 3 - 5.4 Type 8 - 4 On their second test with instinctual variant I scored as a 2, self-preservation variant. In Ayurveda there is a distinction between who we are (Prakruti -> inborn constitution) and how life has molded us (Vikruti-> the nature of the imbalance.) I think my life has been extreme in some ways, with drastic changes...that might account for my confusing answers here. I wonder if type 5 wing 4 or vice versa is just the way I've adapted to limitations (Vikruti). Anyway, compatibility readings: www.enneagraminstitute.com/the-enneagram-type-combinations

Ava I once read that in enneagram the main type is always the one with the highest number, however the wing can ONLY be a number that is next to that highest type, so if you score highest a 5, it can only be a 4 or 6 wing - and that is IRRESPECTIVE if any other number is higher than your actual wing. That said, I find it interesting that you score pretty high in 5 and 4, but that while the score of 9 is very high, neither a score of 1 or 8 is even coming close to the score of 4. Don`t know if that has any meaning at all. lol just an observation. And yes I do believe that life experiences can mold us away from our "child-Ego". so it makes sense to me.
